So many food services out there, yet we have been loyal Catered Fit customers since 6/20. Ironically, we chose to start CF when we were remodeling our kitchen into our dream kitchen. Since then, though, I haven't really cooked. We couldn't stop our delivery service because we loved it too much and the deliveries and prepared delicious meals were so easy and convenient. The recipes were good way back in 2020, 2021 and 2022, but they are even more delicious now. The variety is huge and the food continues to be low-calorie, yet at the same time wonderfully satisfying. Been with these guys on and off 4 years and the quality has gone down hill after they gotten rid off all California staff because the state mandated that their employees had to be W2 workers. In response to this they let go everyone of their employees and cancelled daily fresh meal deliveries. Instead of fresh meals you get sent these frozen meals shipped in these packages you have to open with scissors or with a knife after microwaving, and pale in comparison (in regards to taste and texture) to what they used to ship. The food is very tasty and convenient since I am in California it is delivered weekly unfortunately because they don't hire full-time delivery people they no longer can deliver it daily. I do miss that their customer service is terrific and when they were delivering daily, they had the best people, but if I ever have an issue their customer service is terrific and resolves it quickly. I can't speak of the ambience because I've never been to one of their locations but I do recommend the food and you can order anything from one meal a day or whatever you're looking for. It is difficult to cook for just one person so for me this works out perfect I have lost a lot of weight with this service, so I highly recommend it again I wish they would go back to the daily delivery just for me. If you want delicious food coupled with convenience at your door step 5 days a week.. then get yourself this meal plan! I have tried many meal plans and this is the only one I haven't gotten sick of! I have been getting the meals since January 2021 (9 months now) and I'm sure I'll continue for awhile! It is evident that every meal is thoughtfully put together and chef level cooking and formulation. I have recommended at least 6 of my friends to it and they're all satisfied. I am taking off one star only because I would say the only thing they should consider is to waive the shipping fee for one member if there are two members in the SAME home. They don't go out of their way for the second meal in the same home so they should do right by the customer and have only one fee per household, considering it's $60 per person. My boyfriend and I have the meal plan and he has been a customer of theirs longer than I have. I have asked several time for them to waive the fee and they do not budge. I don't know if it's because it's a bigger company but I know a smaller company wouldn't mind doing that because it's what makes sense and they're big on customer service. read more

I opened a breakfast item a day or two later to try again, and it was completely sour. Against my better judgement (again) I went ahead with the next week because their customer service was great and they said they would credit me a week for the issues. I just got that second box today and the food was molded in the "fresh vacuum seal" - absolutely disgusting & waiting to hear back from CF but have asked for a refund for both weeks. Attempted to schedule catered fit for my return to Florida next month. I explained in detail that I am Not a resident full time and gave them a specific start date for a week of meals. Two sets of meals have been delivered while I am in New York. Called customer service, he apologized and tried to fix it. Meals delivered again. Now I called multiple times to cancel completely because the organizations logistics obviously are disorganized and I'm on phone / hold/ attempting to rectify. Way to time consuming. Now the number says "welcome to Verizon wireless your call cannot be completed as dialed please check the number and dial again". Avoid dealing with them and if you can just pick up in person. Really good service and the food is really good! The breakfasts were hit and miss, but the lunch and dinner were great! Easy to heat up and eat! Sometimes the delivery comes as late as 10:30pm but with the bag and the ice pack it has never been a problem. Had my meals stolen off my porch one time in the last 6 months and they were very helpful and responsive! I work hard for my money, and it's a little frustrating to waste it. I received this order and it was disappointing. Two sad pieces of gross watermelon and two blackberries that were extremely mushy. The portions look nothing like how they are advertised. I have tried a whole weeks worth of catered fit so far (I purchased a month plan) and all the orders I have received look like they were just thrown together, literally. I had a meal with rice and it looked like there was maybe a small teaspoon of rice in the container. I have had a couple meals with chicken and it's the worst thing I've ever tasted. This company and their customer service manager Nina, refuse to help customers whose packages get delivered to the wrong location. They refuse to give me a refund because they've "verified" the delivery through FedEx. Except the person FedEx has confirmed they delivered it to, doesn't work in my building. After about a week and a half of me following up and getting no where, because they don't respond when they say they will, I let my sales representative for our corporate account know that because of their lack of response and assistance, that I would not be moving forward with signing up my company. It was only then, at the risk of losing a sale did the customer service manager offer me a complimentary shipment. However, she went MIA once again for an entire week, and I had to follow up a week later. I then let them know that because of their poor customer service, that I wanted a refund and we would not be trusting them to handle multiple accounts because of their mishandling over a single account. Their customer service manager keeps saying I'm ineligible of a refund because FedEx confirmed delivery. She's deliberately refusing to acknowledge that FedEx's confirmation is only a confirmation that it was delivered to the wrong place. I work for a small company, and I know every single person and the security guard we have hired to check in visitors. The person who signed doesn't exist in my building. But their manager kept trying to tell me that I'm the one whose mistaken. I even reported my delivery as non-delivered immediately with FedEx and they have never contacted me to discuss, so I'm unsure how they're confirming delivery when they haven't even spoken to me. Because of this failure to properly handle my issue and the refusal of a refund, I'm no longer purchasing meals from them, and I wouldn't recommend anyone in a business area to either. They're more worried about keeping their money than making a mistake right with a customer. Well their stinginess just lost them multiple accounts thanks to their customer service manager. read more

I have been absolutely blown away at the consistent quality of Catered Fit's meals. In addition, their customer service is great. My girlfriend and I have been getting 2 meals a day each 4 meals total (Monday-Friday) for the past couple months and we're very pleased. We live in an apartment complex and when the initial delivery driver had issues delivering to our door, they worked with us and found a different driver who could deliver to us. The menu is constantly being refreshed with delicious options. We've since stopped our subscription simply due to the high costs, but they aren't unreasonable given the exceptional quality.
