This location is in La Jolla Village, about a 10 minute drive from UTC. Parking is available right out front, but since it is located in a shopping plaza with several other restaurants and stores, the parking lot can definitely get busy. I rarely have trouble finding what I need because the staff are constantly restocking the shelves. One thing I really like about this location is that it also has Amazon returns, which makes it super convenient if you need to drop off a package while grocery shopping. Some of my favorite items to buy here are the Simple Mills crackers. They are gluten free, made with simple ingredients, and taste so much better than a lot of processed crackers. I also love shopping for their fresh produce because they offer a great selection, including produce from local farms, which is always nice to see. Overall, I would definitely keep coming back to this Whole Foods. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they have a great variety of high quality groceries and healthier food options.

I popped into this GNC just looking for some protein bars to curb that afternoon sugar craving, and I ended up having such a great experience that I couldn't wait to get home and write a review. the service was very good. they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the products in the store. There was no pushy sales pitch at all; in fact, they actually talked me out of buying a couple of things I didn't really need, which I really appreciated. they even gave me a free sample of a really tasty protein drink and offered to throw in a box of multivitamins with my purchase. Some of the products can be a little intimidating (those giant jars, wow!), but their product knowledge is so impressive that they were able to guide me straight to exactly what I needed to meet my goals. I'm definitely planning on making this my regular GNC store. Highly recommend! read more

You don't find GNC store like this on every corner. In fact, I have never found one even remotely like it in San Diego. The store is fully stocked, it carries different brands that I can't find in other locations. They are knowledgeable about everything they stock, carry only the best products for less than the chain places, and can help you find what you need to assist in attaining your nutrition and fitness goals. I was just in and this store is awesome, I've been coming here for years and Juan is always very helpful. I feel like I'm treated like family and when there aren't any promos he looks out. My go to is cardio cuts which he got me into and it was worth the switch from c4. I've been to many gnc stores and thus one has every brand of anything you're looking for. I just went to another gnc and was pissed that they didn't have what my usual gnc store carries. I'm inside shopping with a budtender, as I finish shopping and head to check out, another worker comes by and whispers to the budtender. Worker asks me if I have a kid, I'm like "yes!" Thinking it would be a friendly interaction, but no, they denied me service for having a kid waiting in the car with my wife. My mistake was having my wife and kid step out of the car and stretch after a long drive, while they were waiting in the car. They were seen on the security cameras, thus denying me service. I complied and left, feeling embarrassed. It's crazy to think we live in a world where we can legally buy alcohol with a kid in the shopping cart, but Catalyst will shame and deny you service when your kid and wife are waiting in the car. It is not illegal to transport sealed cannabis with a kid in the car. Parents! There are so many better options. Pick an option that'll help and promote cannabis, not impose rules that are more strict than the state.
