If you have, what you get here is exactly what you've come to expect. These Dippin Dots were no less delicious than what you'd find at an amusement park on a hot summer day. For those unfamiliar with Dippin Dots, they are little frozen pea sized ice cream balls (dots) that come in a cup, usually multi colored, that when consumed, they melt in your mouth and taste like ice cream flavored they are. This location NEW to Wolcott has the core Dot offering but with additional flavors to choose from. On the day we visited this place, they offered 14 Dippin Dot flavors (most fairs or parks have 4-6). They also share spacing/double up the offering with Doc Popcorn, which is another fair or amusement park staple. Just like the parks, I was told that if you buy a refillable tub and bring it back to the store, the popcorn is half price. This is great seeing as they also had a WIDE variety of popcorn flavors, including a limited release one as well (Sour Cream & Onion). My family held off on the popcorn this time and decided to just get Dippin Dots. We all got the Brownie Batter flavored. It was delicious flavor, and I have no ill comments about its taste vs. what you get at a fair or park. Is it homemade ice cream that is so freshly made that you can hear the mooing from the diary ingredients? No. But that's not what you are expecting when you are buying Dippin Dots, you are looking for Dippin Dots, exactly how you like and remember them. For that. It is solved in my book. My only knock here is the lack of indoor and outdoor seating (as of this review, they had (3) 3 seat tables inside the building).
