The oxtail was absolutely delicious! The snapper was fried to perfection along with the pigeon peas and rice.

I'd say ten minutes after my order was accepted, it was cancelled. I had to scramble to find somewhere else to grab takeout for dinner. I never got a reason why my order was abruptly cancelled. This experience made me avoid hitting Ghost Kitchens until I was recently in Ajax. I have been craving salad practically every day for the last month. After running some errands in the area, I was ready for some lunch. I did a search on my Uber Eats app and found Saladworks. I placed the following order: - Bently salad with light raspberry vinaigrette - Daydream cucumber beverage It had an estimated pickup time of fifteen minutes. It was perfect for me to slowly make my way over here. I looked at the address and it said that it was in Ghost Kitchens. I will admit that I did have some reservations after having placed this order. The good news was that it never got cancelled, so I was happy. This Ghost Kitchens location is in a plaza. It's closest to Kingston Road, with the main entrance facing south. I backed into a parking spot and walked in. There is a huge screen where you can place your order if you don't have Uber Eats or some other app installed. I walked over to the pickup counter and dinged the bell. A woman said that she would be right there. She asked for my order number. I rattled it off to her. She found my order and handed it to me. I thanked her and headed to my car to eat. You can also dine inside. There were plenty of seats and tables. The downside was that washrooms were unavailable during my visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad. The base was a romaine-iceberg lettuce blend. It had smoked ham, roasted turkey, sliced egg, diced tomatoes, and provolone cheese. What was cool was that most proteins were cubed. It was a nice change of pace. This salad was awesome, especially with the light raspberry vinaigrette. The salad was crunchy and fresh. The raspberry vinaigrette was delicious such that I took it home to enjoy on another salad the following week. If this place offered bottles of this vinaigrette, I'd get some in a heartbeat. My salad came with some rosemary bread. It was a nice touch. It was yummy. You didn't get a lot of it, but it was a perfect side to the salad. I wash everything down with a can of Daydream cucumber lime beverage. It tasted like getting a drink at a spa. I loved the subtle cucumber flavour with a hint of lime. It wasn't worth what I had paid for, though, especially when I found a four-pack of this flavour at Winners a week later that was perhaps a twoonie more. I finally placed a successful order from Ghost Kitchens. I absolutely loved my salad from Saladworks and had a great experience. I can't wait to explore its other salads on the menu. (209)

Very nice for those that really need service like this (disabled, elderly) drivers usually are ok and the female owner tried to accommodate what she could, but i hate doing business with the regular guy now. ordering is stressful cause if u break a rule they actually charge an extra fee. not normal way to do business at all...but, greed happens and I guess they have enough coming in now they don't feel the need to accommodate regular at home calls.

I looked outside and nobody was there. He then asked if there's addresses with the same number on my street and I said no. He then said "well I'll tell her she's at the WRONG [my address]". He didn't say "at the wrong address". He was placing the blame on me. She ended up coming to the right house (I waited outside and saw that she was on the wrong street) and I gave her my normal tip. She was deaf, so I couldn't make a complaint to her, so I called the same guy back about his unprofessionalism and that he placed blame on me for their mistake. I told him there was a note for them to call me when they got there and to NOT ring the doorbell (because I have a large, hyper puppy). He said the driver is deaf and couldn't call. I told him HE should have called me then. He said he did. I said "no you didn't, you just told me that she rang my doorbell 20 times". He then abruptly said "you're disrespecting my deaf driver so I'm hanging up" and then disconnected the call!!! I called him back and said I NEVER disrespected her and, in fact, said she was a lovely woman and I tipped her as I normally would tip a delivery driver (10%). I then disconnected the call. The guy that runs this "business" is childish, unprofessional and rude (as others have stated in reviews on other sites). I will not be ordering through Just Eats in Oshawa again, for fear that I'd have to deal with or support this HORRIBLE business with extremely poor customer service skills and ethics.

We've tried LiveFit, Yumba, WeCook...I can't believe I actually WANT to order their salads - they're that good. I've also ordered the meat options and they were great too. The only reason why I've given them 4 stars is because I wish their ordering system was more clearly explained and user friendly on the website, because I had to call/email them a couple times to figure out how to do it. Just a heads up, it's a food subscription, they offer a first time delivery discount code, call them and ask for it. You order a plan through the website then they email you the weekly menu options. They also offer some wiggle room in the delivery dates, which is awesome. Also, free delivery, yay!! I also wish they offered more non-soy vegan options, but still love that they offer delicious vegan options. As a side note, I've really loved their salad dressings & sauces so far (particular YUM to their tzatziki or aioli sauces). Definitely worth a try if you're trying to find a delicious and healthy option!

Now that's what I call customer service! I look forward to continuing my service with HA for a long time to come. Thank you! :)

When I am in Ajax, I pass by the Real Canadian Superstore often. Shockingly, I had never been in the store until yesterday. My dear friend and I like Joe Fresh. We decided to drop by and check out what this supermarket has to offer. It's a large, typical Real Canadian Superstore. We found the Joe Fresh area and browsed. She was there to look at pants and jeans. I love the selection in this section, especially the loungewear. I like coming to this store to check out nail polish. I haven't given the Joe Fresh brand a try. One of these days, I will give it a shot. There is a huge assortment of gift cards. I have never seen anything like it. I also loved that you can get the lowest price on M&M's chocolate bars. I was happy. The produce is fresh. I also love the bakery. There was plenty of parking here, even with the extra gardening section that blocked up part of it. I will need to visit this store more often. It's tough when you have this store and a decent Sobey's roughly a block away. (177)

I bought $5 of parma prosciutto at the deli counter, and the same product would have cost $10 from the fridge case. They have a wide selection of foods from various cultures and cuisines, in addition to books, magazines, clothing and household items. You could do pretty much anything here except auto repairs! There is even a wine store in there. If you want one-stop shopping, then this is the place to go!

It's located in a plaza next to Rexall, anchored by a Food Basics. I headed eastbound along Steeles Avenue East, which becomes Taunton Road. I then turned right on Westney Road North, eventually making a left into this plaza. There was plenty of parking when I arrived. I backed into a spot and walked in. We reserved a couple of tables. We were ready to eat! We got there just before 4 pm. Our friendly server advised that its new pub menu was available for us to order from, as well as its main menu. It's a Caribbean restaurant that puts an island twist on many items. There are also non-Caribbean food if you're not feeling like having spiced-up items. From the pub menu, we got these items: - Loaded crunch burger - Mushroom madness burger - Greek salad - Beef nachos - Jerk chicken poutine - Jerk quesadilla We ordered these items from the main menu: - Special chicken lo mein - Spicy pepper shrimp - Honey garlic beef short ribs - Szechwan tofu with rice We started off with drinks. I ended up with a Hibiscus fruit mocktail. I couldn't tell you what was in it, but it was cold and delicious. Our table also got colourful drinks, including a mojito. We also got a pitcher of icy water. I went up to the bar to get a refill roughly halfway through our meal. The female staffer was so nice. She brought the refill to our table and even topped up our glasses. The food was excellent. I sadly couldn't fit the burgers in my system. They looked amazing. I love mushrooms, so I was especially sad that I didn't get to try the mushroom madness burger. Both burgers that we ordered came with fries. It seemed weird to order a Greek salad from a Caribbean place. Hey, we got to get some greens in. I was impressed at how much feta we got. I enjoyed this salad. The lettuce and onions were crisp. The latter didn't have that raw, burning taste to them. The dressing was delicious. The beef nachos were amazing. The beef had big, bold, beefy flavour. The melty cheese was great with the sour cream and crunchy nacho chips. I normally don't like sour cream, but this place didn't overdo it. I liked the lighter-handed approach. The jerk poutine was amazing. It had the best seasoned jerk chicken morsels with crispy fries, a decent gravy, and cheese curds. The jerk quesadilla stole my heart. The cheese pull didn't seem to want to stop. It was the same flavourful jerk chicken. It was delicious. The mains were equally as good as the pub items! The special chicken lo mein was indeed special. The lo mein was chewy and yummy. The sauce was on the saltier side, but it wasn't horrible. I liked the veggies, especially the baby corn. It had tender chicken morsels mixed in. On top of everything was even more roasted chicken. Wow! Everything was delicious, including the chicken on top. The spicy pepper shrimp were incredible. If you like spicy deliciousness, get the shrimp. They were perfectly cooked and yummy. The honey garlic beef short ribs were scrumptious. The sauce had the best mix of honey with garlic. The ribs were tender. I loved the red and green peppers. Yum! The szechuan tofu was a nice alternative to meat. The flavours were bold and perfect. I loved the cubed tofu. I actually brought this dish home with a mound of steamed rice. This eatery has a lot of seating. The bar is gorgeous. There's a huge screen for sports games there. You can also watch games anywhere in this restaurant as there are screens everywhere. If you do want a change of pace, there's a pool table near the entrance. I used the washroom before leaving and heading home. The women's was clean. This eatery has lunch and student specials. I'd like to try the former items one of these days. I had a great time with friends here over yummy drinks and food. I can't wait to return for more. (285)
