Took a friend and we went to Nuthouse Saloon for first time. The food was fantastic. We had the fried cod and the coating was so crunchy and just the right amount. We had two decent sized pieces of shrimp. I don't care for thin French fries but I had several other voices. I got the hash browns and they were perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I also had a salad. My friend had the French fries and coke slaw. We were stuffed. Taking friends and going back this Friday. Was lent and we were well pleased. Even the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce was on point. Our waitress was efficient and kind. Great visit!!!! Wednesday is all you can eat wings with 20 sauces to choose from. Came here after a terrible experience down the road.We were waited on quickly and with a smile . Ordered a dozen bone in wings 6 spicy garlic and 6 hot, both were tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They had a turkey melt sandwich with a cucumber salad,. It had bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo . This was a great lunch at a great price. Will be back when in the area! read more

Been here many times for breakfast and lunch but yesterday was our first time for a Fish dinner, and I was really happy with my food. I'm a Hawaii girl, I know my fish! Burgers were out of the box fries were ok not good. Some of the servers where good. Others were listening in to a private conversation pushed to get us to leave. I'll save my $$ for them at breakfast and go elsewhere for dinner read more

Ordered from door dash, no prob there, problem is with the kitchen staff apparently not held to health standards, got to eat 2 wings before I picked up the third one and had to untangle a 12" long hair that was embedded in the sauce, manager was not nice, making excuses, will NOT be ordering or eating from them again!!! read more

Been going there on Wed nights for dinner for a long time. You should not go on Wed now. There were 3-4 groups of people that were always there on Weds. We have all moved on now. They have a group of 5-6 loud obnoxious Fbomb dropping guys who go there after golf. They all have to talk at the same time actually yell at each other. The whole dinning area is so loud from them you can not even order without yelling. Its a shame they will let a small group of rude people chase off all there wed night business. read more

Over all the service is fast.but the service is come and go different people everytime you turn around. An they are going at mixing up people debt card when cash you out. Charging you for someone else order. Then expecting someone to have cash on hand to fix the difference that they did to exchange to the other customers. An when you go to place a order. An the food come out oh we are out of soup but here your loaded BLT. The BLT has 3 peaces of bacon 1 whole peace of lettuce and one tomato on toast. Again not what excepting after reading the menu. Then see a couple get up because they been sitting waiting for their order to come out for 45 minutes an never got nothing. They lost the ticket. An for 3 people eating an husband gets a sandwich and fries I got a BLT chilli in replacement of the soup they was out an little kid get fries because they really don't care much for any of the food. An 3 drinks soda's the bill Still was over 43.00 ridiculous. you'll see 18/24 years olds girls running the place an no grown adults around maybe in the back but never out front. Burgers are great as are the fries. Ask for their spicy ranch- it's delicious and pairs well on any of the burgers! I'd avoid the wings as they seem like a McNugget on a bone- awkward texture and taste. Service is great and beer is cold. Good specials offered daily. read more

We use to love this place, ate there once a week for about 2 months. Then the burgers would come out raw... pink and cold in middle. It happened twice to my husband and once to me so needless to say not going back. read more

Well, I'm beginning to think that this "stay at home" situation is bringing out the worst that the restaurants have to offer. I'm a business owner, so my wife and I have been trying to patronize the local restaurants during this very trying time. Last week we tried the fried fish dinners at the Century House in Canal Fulton...horrible fish - 1/4 thick, burnt to a crisp, fish jerky. This week we thought we'd try the Nut House. Ordered our fish dinners, a 2 piece and a 3 piece. Told to come back in 40 min. We returned in 30. Fries were cold and tasted of grease that was very much in need of changing and the fish was way over-done and burnt. It wasn't quite the fish jerky from Canal Fulton, but close. I wouldn't eat mine but my wife was so hungry and mad, she just ate hers. Oh, and by the way. both meals only had 2 pieces in them, not that it made any difference. The one hit the garbage can anyway. read more

The food was really good and much less expensive than I expected. The service, however, left much to be desired. Our server was impolite, impatient, and borderline rude. She never asked how the food was and never brought, or even gave the chance to ask for, refills. I'd love to give 5 stars for the food alone, but such horrible service prevents it. read more

I went here with my wife last Friday to try some place new and we definitely won't be going back. Our server was not welcoming to us from the get go, probably because we weren't regulars/locals. She just came up and said "What do you want to drink?", no introduction or welcome. I ordered an Old Fashioned and she said "I don't know what the hell that is". It's a very basic 100+ year old drink to begin with, but I really didn't appreciate her attitude, obviously. I'm pretty sure the bartender would know or could look it up in a few seconds. So I just ordered a rum and coke, and my wife got a Bloody Mary. They were both watered down. I ordered the beer battered fish with hash browns and my wife ordered a veggie burger and fries. The wait wasn't bad and my fish was pretty good. My (not homemade) hash browns had a few hairs in it and my wife's veggie burger wasn't cooked completely. We were there probably another 20-30 minutes and never saw our server again. No refill on our waters (salty food outside on a sunny day, too), no checking if the food is okay (which it wasn't), and we didn't get the check. We just wanted to leave. We saw a tiny sign when we are leaving that they only take cash and didn't have any. I don't mind eating at cash only establishments, but put the sign on the front door so we can go to our bank's ATM! So, we used their ATM for $4. We paid the the bartender and left. Maybe they are nicer if you are a local or regular, but I doubt it. read more

The Nuthouse used to be one my favorite breakfast go to, but in resent months I've seen a steadily declined in the quality of their food. This morning I said something to my waitress about the hashbrowns not being warm the last couple times. This time they were warm but they all were stuck together in one big gooey clump, I guess the cook figured he would show me. This morningwill be the last time I go there, too bad. read more

On FRIDAY July 17 ,2015, l took my girlfriend out to lunch at the Nut House Saloon around 12:30. We both ordered the fish dinner. When our meal came everything was fine until we started to eat the fish. The first thing my girlfriend said to me, this fish is kind of dry and over cooked isn't it. I had to agree with her! It was way overcooked. I wrote a review on the Nut House website and in 2 days out was gone! I told them that someone should teach the cook how to fry fish. I told them that I was not saying that I wouldn't be back, but it wouldn't be for the fish! The services was great! read more

A girl at the hotel I'm staying at recommended this place and wow, what an atrocity for an establishment. When walking in you will notice that your shoes stick to the floor. And to no surprise there is a coating of grease all over everything, from the tables to the menus, the salt and pepper shakers...etc. Our service has even worse than the cleanliness of this place. We got our coffee after asking for it twice and it was lukewarm at best. After literally peeling apart the menu I ordered the pancake special. When they came it was so nasty. I could literally fold the pancakes in half and they didn't even break apart. I've never been to a place that had rubber pancakes. After a few bites of the rubber cakes I had enough. Our server seemed more interested in her phone and we were more of a burden to her than a paying customer. My coworker got the German Fries which I tasted and was totally bland and disgusting. We boxed up our food and threw it in the trash at the gas station down the street, which is the appropriate place for it. Thankfully it didn't cost much and I can see why, you get what you pay for. While working in the oilfields across America I have been in some pretty shabby places, but this one definitely was one of the worst ( if not the worst) restaurants I've ever been to.
