My experience a couple years was Harmon's Pub is THE BEST place I found for hamburgers. Large portionS too and the fries are fresh cut.

Foo was delicious ! No notes! Bartenders were kind and efficient. She frequently checked in our us and others . We went at 11:30am on a Friday and it was booming bustling energy. I didn't get a picture of the food we started eating soon as it came out . I got boneless wings with bbq, it was sweet sauce reminiscent of mild sauce from Chicago . My husband had hot wings traditional and said they were delicious! I subbed my Tater tots(jail food) for Irish fries which are their homemade potato chips with homemade French dip! I always wondered why Harmon's was so busy until I stopped in for a drink and dinner. I ordered a pint of Oktoberfest and it was great. The wings were so hot you almost could not eat them. They were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The onion rings were also hot and plentiful. Service was good and ambiance is what you would expect from a neighborhood bar. read more

Our favorite. The chicken is always good, the sauces are great, the fries are seasoned well, and the best long islands I've ever had. Summer Salad is fantastic. Try Harmon's Favorite sauce instead of buffalo on the Buffalo Chicken salad. The cashew chicken salad is great with their honey mustard wing sauce. The deep fried mushrooms are huge and delicious, not those little tiny things you get at fast food places. Definitely try those if you're a mushroom fan. read more

Walked in and it was extremely dark inside. Took a while just to adjust to the lack of light. Maybe that was to hide the not so nice smell of not cleaned enough carpet. Can't say, but got used to both eventually. It seems like it is in a small chain restaurant type building with the way it is set up, but maybe not. Nice sized horseshoe bar sits in the middle with a few hightops. Both sides of the location has a step up with booths. That's what made me feel like it was something else at one point, but reading it says they have been open for about 30 years, so maybe not. A decent amount of TVs surround the bar and the area in the middle. Sitting in the booths makes me think it would be tough to see them. The thing that bugged me is that many of the TVs lacked good color. Thinking they needed replaced. Grass is green as far as I know and you couldn't tell that on a couple of the TVs. Bartender was nice. And the best part was my normal vodka lemonade was STRONG! Didn't get a chance to eat, but I was there at 11:30am and there were a good amount of tables full, so most likely it is good. I would try it again to get some food. Check it out. read more

Atmosphere: The atmosphere was pretty nice. Seemed like everyone was having fun. We were seated right away. We liked the fact there was a covered patio for smoking and a pull tab machine that we could play while we hung out and ate. Food: We both got a couple vegas bombs as drinks. They were very very delicious. We then ordered our food where I had the buffalo wings and my partner got a bacon burger on a pretzel bun (It had a specific name on the menu but I forgot what it is). My partner loved her burger. She said it was cooked perfectly but her only complaint was that the pretzel bun was a different kind of pretzel bun that was actually shaped like pretzels and it got very messy with the toppings coming through the holes and such. My wings PROBABLY would have been some of the best wings in town BUT there was almost no sauce on them. You always want nice and saucy buffalo wings. The waitress took a pretty long time to come and check up on us so i wasn't able to get extra sauce until it was too late and my wings were cold. I ended up taking 4 out 6 wings home unfortunately. Overall: We will definitely go again but one thing we were not very please with was the service from our server. She just didn't check up on us and if she did give us attention, it is because we flagged her down. We look forward to going back and hopefully updating the review with a higher rating. read more

The service was great. We were welcome and taken back to a table quickly. Our waitress came and got our drink orders quickly and our food order. They have music playing in background. The place was busy when we got there. The parking lot was full we had to park on side of street. I got boneless rings and onion rings. The food was delicious! Great place to eat! It's a good local spot for $5 Long Island, especially on Fridays. The service is always excellent, and you can always count on being welcomed with a smiling face. I'm not really sure how long Harmon's Pub has been on Tuscarawas St. in Canton- but it sure seems like I have been driving by it forever! I ended the drive by's on St. Patrick's Day when my husband and I stopped in there for a Ruben. Wow, was it good! Piled high thin-sliced corned beef grilled on buttery rye bread with Swiss cheese - served with "Irish Fries" which were house made chips with French onion dip. It was a huge amount of food! The bar was cozy, sports themed with plenty of tv's, pull tabs and lottery machines. My husband had the boneless wings which he said were tender and tasty. Definitely worth another trip! read more

These are the best chicken wings on the planet! Im serious! I eat tooo many wings at too many places. These are by far the best wings ive ever had. Ive been coming here as a kid, and now living in Florisa--missing this place too much. Youve got to come here and get the original buffalo and Harmons favorite--BONE IN. ALSO, THE FRIED MUSHROOMS ARE PERFECTION!! The only thing is that consistency on the wing preparation is key... we have had an off night or two which is very disappointing when you come all the way from Florida. As a long time, regular customer (once a week for trivia night, over multiple years), you would think the managers/owners of this place would have some sort of interest in their customer's feedback about a very negative experience they had one night at their restaurant.  I waited over a week for a response, and they couldn't even bother to respond to me with anything at all.  Shows how much they care.  If they treat good customers this way, I can only imagine how little they care about a new patron or someone who visits only on occasion.  I am never going back to Harmon's Pub.  Terrible customer service. read more

Harmon's Pup is one of those places I've driven past hundreds of times over the years, but never actually stopped at. That all changed today when someone asked me to join them there for lunch. Why not? I always pictured it as somewhat of a dive bar from the outside, so when I got through the front door I was surprised to see it felt more like a restaurant than a bar. Booths surrounded the exteriors walls, with some high tops and the bar in the middle. It actually has a comfortable feel. I skipped breakfast today, so I was pretty hungry. I asked what the server suggested. ***if you're from a country where people are starving, please stop reading now, or you'll hate America even more*** She said without hesitation the "Big and Cheesy". This sandwich has a 1/4 lb burger with all the fixings, but instead of a regular bun, the meat is encased in two grilled cheese sandwiches. #Merica. $8.99 She asked about sides, and for some reason mushrooms sounded good. $1.00 up-charge to the sandwich. So for $9.99, I was about to get enough food to feed not only myself, but at least half the Duggar clan, had they tagged along. The sandwich came out, and it was gargantuan. I mean, I guess I should have expected that, but with my own eyes it looked even bigger than I'd expected. I'm a fully grown 34 year old man, and it took every last available millimeter of my mouth to get into this thing. I have to say, it was pretty damn good. I just got it with lettuce, pickles and cheese. I have a feeling if you tried to sneak anymore toppings on, you'd not be able to pick the thing up and smash it in one piece. Not a bad problem to have by the way. The mushrooms? Sweet baby Jesus they are huge. Like, imagine a teenage mushroom who got picked on for being too tiny in mushroom middle school. And then that mushroom started taking steroids and hitting the gym, so by senior year he was a bad ass. Yeah, that's the kind of mushrooms were talking about here. Nicely breaded, and came with a pool of ranch. The order came with four, I managed to eat two. The service was good considering it was a busy Friday lunch rush. No complaints there. Overall, this was a very good experience, with good (albeit copious) amounts of food. If you're counting points on weight watchers, you may wanna skip Harmon's. If you're looking for an awesome "comfort food" meal, that will leave you feeling fat and happy, then by all means give this place a try! PS - I just saw a few salads one table over get delivered. They looked equally as big as everything else, and I'd be willing to bet they're healthy too. Something for everyone! read more

This review is based on their food only. I came here at a friend's suggestion when visiting someone at Aultman Hospital. I got a Reuben sandwich which almost made me gag. The meat was too thick, and it had a gamey taste that made me wonder if it was really corned beef or something else or spoiled corned beef. The fries were the super thin soft fries, and they were soft and very greasy. Were I a bar/pub type guy, I'm sure this place would do fine for me for a beer after work or whatever, but I don't do that and I just came for the food which, frankly, was gross. I have no doubt they have other food that is great, but unfortunately I was served up a bad sandwich on the one visit I made. Hence, 1-star. read more

While I love the food here, I will be ordering take out only moving forward if I ever order again. Yesterday was my third experience sitting at the bar, and while the other two times were not great yesterday was absolutely terrible. I got my menu and first drink very quickly from the male bartender, however I could not place a food over for more than 20 minutes. The female bartender was talking to a regular beside me, I assumed after her story she would take my order as I was sitting there smiling making eye contact, however instead she proceeded to tell her regular customer "I will tell you the rest of the story later, we have some listening ears" then rolls her eyes to my direction, then walks away! She was correct I was patiently waiting for her to stop talking so I could order but instead just walks away to take care of other patrons (who just sat down.) I made a sound of disbelief, to which the regular next to me flagged down the male bartender (who was closest to us in proximity at this point) and said "Hey I think she wants to order food" only then did I get a food order. Wings were awesome, loved the Irish Chips, my next drink too awhile to get as well, wasn't until yet another regular motioned the female bar tender over in my direction that she saw the empty glass on the bar. Same situation when I tried to get my check, I sat for 15 minutes while the bartenders chatted with their regulars, checked their phones, and took other peoples orders. After holding my card in my hand for (Think how you would order a drink and close out at a crowded bar for game day in the city of the game being played and watched) the male bartender took my card then gave me my check. Shoutout to the gentleman sitting around the bar who helped me get a food order and a second drink, my tip should have went to y'all. I used to work here many years ago and the kitchen was the best in town. Now, 15 years later, I decided to order some carry out for myself and a friend and was very disappointed at how bad the food was. We both had the western burger and onion rings and the onion rings and onion straws on the burger were burnt to a crisp. The burger was so over cooked it was barely chewable. You could tell by the onion rings that the oil in the frier had not been changed in quite some time.
