After all the walk and long drive we came across with the all you can eat Buffet at Amish Door. The food is hot and fresh, and the price range per buffet is not bad at all. The service is perfect, my coffee keeps coming. The place is clean. Overall experience: SATISFIED. and we will drive back full and happy tummy! Will definitely stop again to enjoy their food next time!

I've tried 2 other Ohio Amish buffets multiple times and this was my second time here. My sister and I both agree, the food here is the best. They have most of the usual offerings but also serve bbq beef and ribs here. The ribs are tender and delicious. We also think their homemade rolls are really good here along with their peanut butter spread. The restaurant is pretty big and both times that I came for lunch, there was not a huge line out the door. There is a nice bakery attached to this restaurant where you can purchase a pack of those rolls and a bunch of other baked goodies. Service was good and there was plenty of parking.

The food was good. I liked that fried shrimp were on the buffet. Bought a cherry pie and that was delicious. The server was nice but it seemed we were an after thought and had to call out for her as she either stood around or went to the one other table.

We had a Male server covered in tattoos (not that I care about the tattoos just makes him easy to identify). Dude was one of the worst servers we ever had. no rolls, no refills. Dude just seemed to hate working in a tourist trap. Other than that, the food was okay. Clean restaurant. Probably would have enjoyed it if it wasn't for our server. We all got the buffet.

Another fine Thanksgiving meal here at the Amish Door buffet style. Large salad with plenty of all kinds of vegetables to top your lettuce, and all types of Amish salad dishes-just to name a few, potato salad, macaroni salad, 2 kinds of coleslaw, Graham cracker pudding and much more. Broasted chicken white and dark, roast turkey, and ham, real mashed potatoes, dark and lite gravy, tasty sweet potatoes, green beans, noodles, dinner rolls with real butter, Apple butter, or peanut butter, finish your meal off with desert homemade pie, apple or pumpkin cream, iced pumpkin bar cake. Good cup of fresh made coffee with your desert. Well managed and hard working staff. Nice family atmosphere-good place to take family. Make sure to stop in the bakery for tasty baked goods such as pies, rolls, donuts, also containers of prepared salads and a favorite of mine red beet pickled eggs and lots more.

Always a great buffet !!! However, the buffet price has soared in recent months, so I don't drive down there as much as I used to.....

The fried chicken was good but not crispy. The Corn was out of a can. Banna pudding was terrible. Apple crisp was great.

We had a lovely time though we weren't thrilled about sitting in the tiny side room at the tiny 4-person bar with our backs to the room...it felt cramped. Our server helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine from an extensive collection. The apples and rice appetizer was excellent..like arancini balls. My husband had the duck and liked it. I had the lumache which was just ok. The pasta was a little too al dente and the large clumsy shells didn't seem like the right shape for the delicate dish. It was supposed to come with shrimp, but surprise...nope! It came with lobster. I find lobster a bit sweet and thought shrimp would have worked better. This girl is usually in the clean plate club when it comes to pasta and seafood dishes but not tonight. I will say that the dessert alone was worth the one hour drive.. the smoked smores arrived with a bell jar of smoke which the server whisked off to reveal a delectable gooey to-die-for cake smothered in caramel and marshmallow. Did I mention it came with two cups of hot white chocolate to pour over the whole thing? Omg..drool-worthy.

This is our go to Saturday ride to Amish Country. I can't believe this is my second week in a row…read more You get there and you add your name to the list and step back, or go outside and wait. It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

I would argue that this is very good down-home cooking! There was a lot of people who came at once…read morebut they have plenty of seating so there wasn't really a wait. There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh
