I requested 60 minutes of reflexology and 30 minutes of bodywork, but the reflexology portion…read morereceived limited attention despite being the primary focus of the appointment. The pressure was inconsistent, ranging from uncomfortably firm to the point of painful work on my shoulders and back to almost no pressure elsewhere. The time spent on each side of my body and on each foot was noticeably uneven. There were several pauses during which the massage stopped completely, and at times the lady's hand simply rested on my foot. I cannot determine whether she was asleep, particularly because the room was dim and I was not wearing my glasses, but the repeated pauses made it difficult to relax and raised concerns. I expected consistency, balanced pressure, and a stronger emphasis on reflexology as requested. The experience could have been improved by maintaining steady engagement throughout the appointment, allocating the agreed-upon time primarily to reflexology, and not stopping while doing the massage multiple times. Perhaps the lady was new, and unfortunately, there was a bit of a communication gap, but that still does not explain the stopping multiple times during the massage until I raised my head up each time.

The head and facial massage part was really nice. Sometimes the techs just sort of scratch your head which I don't care for, but he really massaged my head. If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. You're in a open room with other beds so you may have other patrons getting massage at the same time. You are fully clothed. They soak your feet while they do the first part of the massage. They started at your head work down your arms then remove your feet from the water and do a reflexology treatment and then your legs then they flip you over and do the backside. It's a great massage! Unfortunately, I forgot my phone, so no pictures.

I like their Happy Head massage is a massage that focuses on your back, neck and shoulders. No legs and feet. I like this one since it aims at my problem areas and isn't as relaxing, but it gets the tension out. I've seen a few therapists here with varying styles, but Jason has been outstanding. During my last two sessions, he remained professional and consistent, working through my stubborn knots without quitting. Best of all, I felt much better afterward without bruising. The location is quiet (especially during the day), the front desk is usually friendly. MISC: It's always worth checking their website for online specials. The way you are greeted both when you arrive and once your massage is completed lets you know how truly dedicated this facility is to making you a lifetime customer. Thank you to everyone at North County Spa for your kindness and consideration each and every visit, and offering such a wonderful family oriented business where you will feel proud to bring your family and friends. I've tried many massage spas but my last favored massage therapist is too far from me, so I wanted…read moreto find a place that was more convenient/close. I decided to try North County Spa for the first time. I like how I can schedule an appointment online, and they seem to have multiple time slots throughout the day. Parking was pretty plentiful on a weekday, but may get a bit more busy during the weekend since there is a buffet right across from them. I chose the 90min full body massage, and selected the deep tissue massage vs the Swedish. They do not specify the therapists' names, nor can you select male vs female online when scheduling your appt. However, when you arrive, they will ask if you prefer a male vs female therapist, which is nice. I arrived 20min early, and expected to wait inside the lobby until my appt time, but the front desk staff member was very pleasant and she said it wasn't a problem, and assisted me. Since I was a new client there, she had me complete a 2-sided form (simple) with my contact info + consent. The consent form essentially listed the benefits and potential consequences of massage therapy (e.g., bruising for deep tissue if one is more prone to bruise). I also liked that they specified that their establishment does not offer any sexual services, since there have been many massage parlors/spas that have shut down because they offered such services. I felt safe and comfortable. You can also choose a diffuser scent (e.g., I chose eucalyptus) for your room. Room was clean and dimmed enough for you to relax. My massage therapist, Eva, was very good. I had pretty severe neck and bilateral shoulder/trapezius pain, and she focused on those aspects. Hot stones were added without an additional charge. After the massage, I felt so much lighter and less tensed. That's how you know the massage was good and effective! She also communicated just enough, which was nice. Would recommend Eva! The front female staff member was also very nice and welcoming. Will likely return!

Mia is the Standard that Every Massage Therapist Should Aspire To…read more I've been receiving massage therapy for over 30 years, and I've worked alongside athletes, first responders, military personnel, and people whose bodies take a beating every single day. Because of that, I don't hand out five-star reviews lightly. Mia is simply exceptional. From the moment you meet her, you realize she genuinely cares about helping people feel better--not just getting through another appointment. She listens, pays attention to what your body is telling her, and tailors every session to what you actually need instead of giving everyone the same routine. Her pressure, technique, and intuition are on another level. She has an incredible ability to locate problem areas that other therapists completely miss, and she works them with confidence, precision, and professionalism. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, injuries, or simply need to reset after a demanding week, Mia has a gift for helping your body recover. As a disabled Army Veteran living with multiple service-related injuries, finding someone I trust isn't easy. Mia has earned that trust. She creates an environment where you can actually relax while knowing you're in capable hands. What impressed me most wasn't just her technical skill--it was her consistency. Every visit reflects the same level of care, respect, and commitment to helping her clients leave better than they arrived. If you're looking for an average massage, there are plenty of places that can provide one. If you're looking for someone who treats massage therapy as an art, understands the human body, and genuinely wants to help people heal, Mia belongs on a very short list. Some professionals become popular because they're convenient. Mia becomes unforgettable because she's outstanding. She isn't just someone I'd recommend. She's someone I'd confidently send my family, my closest friends, my fellow veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, athletes, and anyone else who depends on their body every day. In my opinion, Mia has earned what very few professionals ever do: A reputation that is worth the drive, worth the wait, and worth every dollar. Thank you, Mia, for the care, professionalism, and heart you bring to every session. It doesn't go unnoticed.
