I rented the large hall for my daughter's Sweet 16 and paid the full fee upfront after viewing the space. Before my event, the owner, David, made several promises about what was included, but later tried to charge me extra for many of those same things--claiming he had bills to pay and even showing me his water bill. Because the hall is quite large, I needed additional time to decorate and make the event special, but even that became an issue. During the event itself, we repeatedly had to ask staff for basic supplies like toilet tissue and working light bulbs in the restroom--things that should have been checked and stocked beforehand. I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon of holiday shopping. This dive bar had surprisingly delicious shrimp soup. At a cost of $2.95, it was plentiful with small shrimp. Plus the broth was thick, probably due to the infusion of carrots, green peas and all the seasonings. I ate the soup with a Portuguese roll, which brought out the flavor the soup. The pint of Stella Artois, at a cost of $4.50, also enhanced the soup's flavor. The patrons were enjoying their food, especially the empanadas. So I ordered one (beef), which was tasty and fresh. My lunch was $10.33, which I paid in cash because credit card users are charged a convenience fee of 3.99% (see a photo of the note that I posted. Absolutely recommend Nuno's! They never serve any bad food, food is always tasty & good, big portions & good service. I love their papaya - Shrimp, Mussels, Clams & Rice. Came for a early dinner. Tried the ziti with sausage this visit. And it was pretty good. But if you looking to stay away from greasy foods. This is not for you. The taste if the sausage was good as was the pasta as well. This place is really good place to sit and just enjoy sports and a meal. Sunday during football season it is much louder and crowded. If you ever consider renting their dining space behind the restaurant, "STAY AWAY." It was highly disrespectful to be "kicked out" before the time allotted by a contract. Only to have a responsible staff member confirm that you were "kicked out" before your allotted contract timeframe. The staff provided an incorrect contract as a basis for their claim and wouldn't allow the party to resume after clearing the mishap. "Y'all" stay away from this place. The experience felt racist and was unprovoked. Some of the staff management team's behavior was aggressive and unprofessional. Also, putting your hands in someone's face is highly disrespectful because you were found wrong in a civilized conversation. The party was beautiful without incident, but the staff tried to create one without reason. A third party catered for the party, and the food was delicious! read more

This place is very very good and I am often not that complimentary of places in Linden. I came here for dinner with people from work. I had the beef stroganoff which my wife used to make but now claims is too fattening. I love noodles and beef so it was a natural choice. I bought a restaurant.com certificate for Nuno's and decided to give it a try on a Wednesday night. Little did I not know, the restaurant is only open on weekends, so we had to eat in the bar. No one else was eating, so I should've taken that as a warning sign. Our waitress was very friendly and it looked like a very diverse crowd. A lot of people go there to play pool or have a drink. My boyfriend ordered the T-bone steak and thought it wasn't too bad- but I ordered the prime rib and found it to be very gamey and fatty. It was almost like it was old and they tried to mask the left-over flavor by piling on parsley and a tangy sauce. Both dishes came with yellow rice and spanish potatoes, which were average. I wouldn't mind coming back here for a drink, but I'll pass on the food. read more

Best happy hour in Linden. Free (really good) Portuguese/Spanish food from 4pm-7pm and dollar drafts. If that's not enough reason to stop by, the actual menu is scrumptious. I had a seafood in garlic sauce over rice and I nearly went out to buy a time machine so I could rewind and eat it again. Seriously. I couldn't find one in the area though. There's a downstairs area with some nice pool tables and an additional full bar and bathrooms. The bottom floor is used on the weekend as DClub, and it gets pretty poppin' down there. I have never attended the club before, but it's mostly a mix of hip hop and dance music based on what I've heard. Oh and if you go during a 49ers game, the owner Nuno will give you a free drink every touchdown they make. read more

There are is about 3 room that u can have party's at. Down stairs,there's a club called the Cellar,and u can party almost all night if it's opened. There's about 2 pool tables to play at. Every Saturday there a DJ that goes in the bar and plays music all night. Every time I go to Nuno's Pavilion I have a great time. Last thing best,u can't forget about the owner he's so nice. This place is a football fan's dream! The decor is awesome and the enthusiasm of the people there is contagious! The staff is friendly enough but the food isn't good at all! We ordered the Buffalo Wings, chicken wings and french fries. The french fries had no flavor. I definitely wouldn't eat there again. I was given a flat soda...the bottle said April 2018...it's October . I bought the bottle back and apparently they didn't have anymore diet coke so they bought me a can of diet coke. The drink that I asked them to mix one they never heard of and wanted me to tell them how to mix it and the other one they said they knew how to make it but it wasn't good. That said, if I wanted to just hang out and watch multiple games on multiple screens I'd definitely go back there but I would eat before I go. read more

The service was very slow. Took an extremely long time to get the food that was ordered. I ordered chicken marsala it came with potato chips and yellow rice. This bar is trash!!!!!!.They are always running out of draught beer not to mention the beer is flat a lot of the time (...this is why they give you cold mugs; to disguise the fact that the actual beer is warm ). They try to make insist that you pay after each drink however if they "allow you" to open a tab they will hold your ID and credit-card.... The location is great and could have had a better review if they ran the bar properly..... They do carry many Portuguese dishes however sometimes the food is good other times the food is bland and undercooked... overall this place is mediocre. read more

THE MOST DISGUSTING BURGERS EVER! I go here during football season and the food is almost always below average. I usually order the half ribs with fries and rice, sometimes it tastes fine sometimes it tastes like a container of salt. I decided to try a cheeseburger there and when I bit into it, it was cold. The cheese was old, there was more bun than meat, the meat looked like something out of a fisher price play set. It was covered in onions, tomatoes, and what looked like salad from a bag. A friend of mine tried their buffalo wings and went home with the worst diarrhea. Nuno needs to get a new cook or start serving fresh food. read more

I thought the rice was Portuguese rice, but it turns out that it taste like plain white rice, only difference is the color is yellow. The food was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting for hours. I was starving and i could only eat the chicken. The fries definitely weren't fresh whatsoever.
