Today, I finally can put the past, the horrible experience with Anthony, Numotion's sales rep, behind. I received an A+ service today, October 8th, 2026. Not only did Jovit replaced the batteries, fixed the lights perfectly, Jovit also went the extra mile to clean my beat-up wheelchair. When Jovit brought back my wheelchair, I was shock to see the beat-up chair looked like a new chair. The wheelchair was so clean. ALL lights were shining bright and nicely tied down with zip ties, on top of the screws, to prevent it from being knock off again. This was the 3rd time I had to replace the right side front light. Because the light was in the way of the wheelchair strap on the VTA bus. I was tired of the light being easily broken by the wheelchair strap. Jovit perfectly fixed the problem. For Jovit's excellent A+ service today, I decided to forget the horrible experience with Anthony, Numotion's sales rep. back in 2023. 2023, my old power wheelchair was falling apart, in a grave condition. I desperately needed a new chair. 2023, I could finally get a new chair. Anthony did the assessments with Reh. at VMC, for my new wheelchair. Then unthinkable event happened, Anthony knowingly canceled my new wheelchair order saying the cancellation was from Reh. at VMC. I asked VMC why they canceled my new wheelchair order? VMC denied Anthony's false accusation. VMC said they had no reason and would never ask any vendor to cancel any orders without talking to the patient first. I then asked Numotion for an explanation from Anthony. Anthony never called to explain, never offered an apology. I complained this to Anthony's supervisor, Ms. Andrea Teixeira, in writing. I never received any explanation, nor an apology from Anthony, nor the supervisor, nor Numotion. I finally realized that Numotion's policy is "never apologize for screwing customers" I thought that I'd never forgive Numotion's horrible services. But today, I forgave Numotion because Jovit's excellent services. I am very pleased that my beat-up wheelchair runs like a new chair. read more

As a medical mom I deal with a lot of different medical organizations, insurance companies, vendors, etc and by far NuMotion has been the worse I have dealt with to date. They have absolutely no concept of costumer service or doing what's right. Their lack of concern is is actually insulting. If you want the details keep reading. We had them meet us at my sons school months ago to measure and do the specifications for a new bath chair which he desperately needs as he grew out of the current chair. A few months after this we get a call that the chair is ready for delivery. I call back every day for a week and leave messages with no reply. The week after I call again and finally reach someone who says the chair isn't ready because "we don't know what to do with the straps". The straps of the chair they ordered and did the specs for. Then they said they would work on it and get back to me by the end of the week. They never called me back. I started calling again the week after and they said they reached out to the manufacturer and didn't hear back but there is no time estimate. After a week of more calls, totally from my end, they finally say the fixed the straps and the chair is ready for delivery. I wait several more days and they deliver the chair and train me how to use it by saying "you know what you're doing right?" I asked to show me how it worked which they did and honestly the tech that came was the only person who actually made any effort to help. That night we went to use the new chair and there was actually no belt strap. Well there was a small piece of fabric that connected to nothing. There was a chest harness and a leg strap that didn't attach or stay on. This made the chair unusable and unsafe for a 120 pound 5'2" teenager who isn't able to remain still. I emailed every person from NuMotion that I worked with, including customer service, technical team, sales person and supervisor, I did get not a single reply for a week. When I told them I need to get the chair fixed or returned they finally replied a week later and said they will try to get a new strap but there is no timeframe. Another week of multiple emails finally got me the reply that they're sorry I'm not happy with the leg straps and that was it. I asked them to either fix or take back the chair and surprise, no reply from anyone once again. Obviously now I need to get the insurance involved since they already received payment and have no plan of making things right after giving them every opportunity. So after months of waiting and weeks of begging for assistance my pleas were ignored and eventually only partially and incorrectly addressed. Dealing with NuMotion is completely exhausting. They ignore multiple phone calls and emails and have no interest if they deliver unusable and unsafe equipment. They have no integrity whatsoever and I can't imagine how many other people have already settled for their total lack of concern for your child. read more

Recently, l posted a review of the horrible service my disabled sister got. Numotion responded telling me to email them situation and l did. It took months to finally measure and make the wheelchair. The wheelchair was to be delivered Monday June 15 between 3-5pm. At 4:59pm that day my sister got a text from unknown person there would be no delivery. Nothing was ever heard from Numotion. No email. No text. No call. Crickets, like before. Horrible, uncaring, unreliable company. No idea what happened to my sister's wheelchair. Hope it went to a good home. Note to Numotion. I am very satisfied with the outstanding service provided by the Numotion team! Before choosing Numotion, I went to another supplier and waited for over a year after the assessment with no results at all. After switching to Numotion, the entire process was incredibly fast--Taylor completed the evaluation and delivered the equipment in less than two months! Taylor made the initial adjustments. Then Demetri completed the setup with fine-tuning and extra adjustments. Both of them were professional, patient, and highly skilled. We have been clients of Numotion since 2013. We've Never had any problems or issues with the company. The process to purchase or renew for a power wheelchair can be long especially when dealing with Medicare or Medicaid to pay their share of the cost. I called for a repair on my wheelchair as it was shutting off unexpectedly. It was not showing any error codes and I expected a bad joystick. When Ron got here he said no he thought it was motors and that you should never replace just one motor. So two motors and nearly $1000 dollars later, the problem is still not fixed and Ron's out is "that's what the company told him based on codes pulled". No way to prove anything so I'm just out the money plus money to by a joystick to get my wheelchair operable again. Shady company!!! read more

NuMotion is horrible! A few years ago they were supposed to come to my dad's home to fix a joystick cable on my chair. My husband and I both called off work so we could be present and the chair could be fixed as it has to be done on their time and not ours. We waited all day with our van in the driveway able to be seen. NO ONE SHOWED UP, or so we thought! I called NuMotion to get an ETA. They said someone had been there and no one was home. I said that's funny because we've both been sitting in the living room all day waiting. My husband opened the door. They never knocked but left a note on the door saying sorry they missed us. I called back livid and someone came out between 7-8 that night. Present day - same chair, it's now 7 years old. Same cable is bad again. I've had to jump through hoops to get it fixed. Being told my Dr. has to fill out forms saying I'm still disabled and it's a medical necessity for my chair to be fixed. Apparently My cable is in but they're waiting on insurance approval to fix it. Today my chair decided not to turn on due to the damaged cable. After several panicked minutes wiggling the wire I thankfully got it to start, although I don't know for how much longer. This chair is my life, and my ability to work. Without it I don't get paid. Without insurance coverage the cable is over $400. This is deplorable considering most living with disabilities live below the poverty line. Now I don't know if I'll be able to work next week. I'm stressed, and I'm angry. If I were getting a new chair they'd bend over backwards for me. A new chair is where the money is. If you need a repair forget it, you're not even a person worth the time. I'm tempted to take my chair to NuMotion and leave it there until they decide to fix it. DO BETTER NUMOTION! Unless I see a drastic change for the better I guarantee you won't have my business for my next chair. You don't even deserve the minimum 1 star review I'm required to give you. read more

These guys are complete clowns. I have appointments cancelled 3 times in a row. Some asshat tech didn't want to travel where I am at in Fremont so she/he called in sick, 3 times in a row. Then when I got the repair, it was done improperly and the wires got broken because they didn't bother to zip tie them down, then I had to pay out of pocket for the repair they had to come back and do. What a scam. This was 3 years ago, but today 7/27/2026, after waiting 6 months for this repair, the tech finally shows up 3 hours late and after beginning to fix the chair, he realizes he doesn't have the right part so cannot complete the repair, so we have to reschedule for when they get the part. Truly Unbelievable. And then, they wanted to know if and when I get a new chair, which is due in 9 months, if I would get it through them. I told them on what planet are they living on. I had an appointment on February 25th to have my four tires on my motorized wheelchair replaced. A person from New motion called and told me they had a sooner appointment on February 15th for one of their texts to come with the new tires. Numotion kept sending me reminders on my two phones about one of their texts coming on that date and I should be out of my wheelchair. I made arrangements for my two daughters to come from a distance to transfer me out of my motorized wheelchair so the tech could work on it and he did not show up or even bother to call me. I could not reach New motion to find out why the tech never showed up. My two daughters had to come back from a distance to transfer me back into my motorized wheelchair.. because I cannot transfer myself. It was a very stressful day for the tech not to come when scheduled and not communicate with me. The most stressful thing was to transfer twice in one day and my daughters having to come so far to transfer me. Now I have to wait for another appointment and this will be the third time it was rescheduled. It gets to be 3 months waiting for a wheelchair repairman from the motion and then they don't show up or even call you on the day of the appointment to tell you they're not coming. I don't understand why disabled people are not even worth the phone call to let us know they are not coming on the day that is scheduled. i've been waiting about four months to have my reach wheelchair repaired. I had to go to the hospital for 2 1/2 months which would've been the perfect time for them to repair it but they say they have a policy they don't repair wheelchairs while somebody is in the hospital so I had to get out of the hospital into a broken wheelchair which today I had a bad accident because my brakes won't work now I'm out of the hospital for a week now and they finally called and said that the parts back in the ones that they ship back like my Wheelchair was gonna fix itself while I was in the hospital or something so anyway, parts are back in and now they can't fix it until December 11 which is a few weeks from now and I'm leaving moving to Galveston in about a week with a broken wheelchair read more

Slow, No Responsive, RUDE. This is the characteristics that best describe Numotion. When we first got the powered wheel chair for our mother it took forever. The claim was insurance was delaying the purchase. The insurance showed the paperwork was all sent to Numotion. We never got response about this. Now to get a repair they require a Video Call before they will do the repair. The technician literally hung up on us while in the middle of the call. I sent my chair in to get repaired around December of 2025 and didn't get it back until February and I was told when it came back that it was completely fixed even checked it myself all day yesterday!? Well couple days after that I took it out and went a few blocks and going across the driveway of dollar tree my chair stops and a car slammed on her breaks and it came a inch from hitting me!! And I tried a couple times and finally I got it started and it went a few feet and did it again!!?? And I called and they said that it was not the correct joystick and then proceeded to tell me that they will order it. And the guy will be here to put it in well, a few months went by nothing. My custom wheelchair was too narrow. the front wheels hit my feet when they turned either direction. The second attempt has almost NO backrest and the handles were so low I would need to hire an oompa loopma to push it. Finally, I was terminated as a client because I wanted to work with a different ATP and my email was ignored. My chair should have been ready in April, in is now mid-January and I have to start the process all over with another company. 100% DISSATISFIED. A REAL LET DOWN. There may be some positive reviews here, but God forbid you ever find yourself in need of a service repair like me. These chairs are our lifelines and NuMotion could care less. My new power wheelchair arrived with a broken USB jack, a broken high gear motor, the joystick mount broke the 2nd week i had it, then the headrest fell off somewhere from here to the bus stop and couldn't be found. Quality control is apparently not the best. My chair is still under warranty I'm told... I called right away to request service, even sent pictures and left a detailed message. Even called Permobile to report it to them. Had to wait 3 weeks for a service call only to have him show up without the parts to repair it. Had to wait 2 weeks for the parts to arrive and another 2 weeks for the next tech appointment. I waited all day only to find out the tech had called in sick and nobody bothered to call to let me know. 2.5 more weeks for the next appointment only to have him replace a motor and nothing else. Then he leaves with my chair stuck in LOW gear. 2 more weeks go by until today's service call...I waited ALL day again. Had to run to 7-11 and was gone for 15 MINUTES. I even called NuMotion to let them know and to find out their eta. The tech shows up while I'm gone, leaves without waiting, and now NuMotion says 2 MORE WEEKS to book another appointment!! ENOUGH!! I called and asked to speak to a manager (nobody available) and had to leave a message. I'm still waiting for a return call (its now 5 pm). I doubt I'll hear back from them any time soon. DONT BUY FROM NUMOTION IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. If the hospital you are coming from is contracted with NuMotion that doesn't mean you have to source your chair through them. Medicare/Medicaid will allow you to choose another company. read more

NuMotion is really a no motion company. Service is dismal. This is the worse company out of all of the DME in Houston.100% DISSATISFIED. A REAL LET DOWN. No one from Numotion cares about the patient's needs or their safety. My son's current power chair is in a bad safety condition, due to the fact that the seat belt does not work. My son's Dr. wrote a prescription for a new power wheel chair with extra features for his comfort. The wheel chair clinic was done at the beginning of September, my son is still waiting for his power chair. I received the approval letter from the insurance company back in October and, I immediately contacted NuMotion to check the status for the order, a rude woman named Dequsha Smith keeps saying the were still waiting for insurance approval, finally in November I received a call form the insurance company stating that Numotion anticipates the delivery of the power wheel chair by the end of December, as of today, I have not heard from Numotion in regards to the delivery status or perhaps to discuss any discount amount that the insurance has not covered. This company expected for the patient or the family member to do their job. The lack of communication from John McCarble the ATP and from Jennifer Hayes is horrible. It takes for ever for the receptionist to answered their phones and they don't help at all. This company is just hungry for money. Now, they want me to pay out of my pocket over $10K, otherwise NuMotion is going to deliver whatever they feel like it, ignoring the doctor's prescription. The changed on the Dr's prescription has not been discussed with me at all. They truly don't know what the meaning of physically disabled that they would make customer wait for equipment a patient depend on daily basis, wheel chairs are their legs and moving source. They are failing, they sent out someone to test them, they showed bad. Then said they won't bring out replacement. What a rip-off company. NuMotion delivered my new electric wheelchair 7/8/24 and left without explaining all the details of how it works. They also failed at fitting the wheelchair to me (sort of like ill fitting clothes). The wheelchair is actually too small for me and very uncomfortable. I had been given a personal cell phone number by one of the employees and she promised to always call me back. She didn't answer and she didn't call me back. I'm 72 years old a double amputee and I live alone. I am also 6'5" and the wheelchair is too small for me. I spend 16 - 18 a day sitting in my wheelchair. Don't do business with NuMotion if you have another choice because you don't get service after the sale. I have had my wheelchair less than 48 hours and I will ask NuMotion to take the wheelchair back and get me a new comfortable wheelchair. read more

Two months ago a technician came home and told us the urgent need of my husband's wheel chair repairs, The brakes do not function and the front caster collapses all the time almost sending us to the hospital several times. My husband has had 4 brain surgeries. nothing has been done to expedite these repairs. The parts have not been ordered yet and we know that once ordered they take at least 6 months to arrive. It is a shame that this company is still allowed to do business at the peril of such vulnerable patients. They are really getting away with murder. read more

Called to have a tire repair from my manual chair , I am a paraplegic so my chair are my legs . Told me they would need to maybe order the part and it may take a while , advised me to go to a bicycle shop . I got better service at the bicycle shop , I had to pay out of pocket when I have insurance that would cover the repair at Numotion. They truly don't know what the meaning of physically disabled that they would make customer wait for equipment they depend on daily . I wish there were more competitors in my area.
