My boyfriend (now fiance) and I first came to meet with Shannon at the beginning of our "ring searching" process. We clicked with her right from the start- she's the best combination of easy going but also passionate about what she does. She was extremely helpful during the whole process. We first went just to get an idea of design and she went above and beyond- taking notes of exactly what small elements of different rings I liked to ultimately create the most perfect design. We had visited one other jeweler before Numined and the sales person there said that we would need to make a separate appointment for any "custom" work. We didn't feel valued at that location. Shannon also helped us pick out the most beautiful center diamond and got us the most bang for our buck! We're looking forward to going back for our wedding bands. =) read more

Best experience I have had with a jeweler!! Isaac and his team were great to work with. I went in for a new ring set and Isaac guided me to just a ring up-grade. He was not high sales or pushy in any way. He spent a great deal of time talking with us about stone options and getting the most for our money. I am so happy with the end result and have gotten a ton of complements already. This is the jeweler to work with for engagement or other jewelry needs. I will be back for me read more

Absolutely love my new necklace from Numined Diamonds! This is hands down the best spot in Chicago for holiday shopping - they have options for anyone in your life. I highly recommend Numined Diamonds for holiday gifts or treating yourself to something special. Shannon and Stephanie are fabulous. Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend. read more

Numined Diamonds - Absolutely LOVE my new rose gold necklace. Ive gotten so many complements. Thank you!! - Jewelry Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

The folks here are great! Shannon was very helpful when I was looking for an engagement ring. She wasn't pushy and didn't try to steer me towards something that I couldn't afford. And, to tell the truth, at the prices they have on their conflict-free, lab-grown diamonds, there wasn't much that I couldn't afford. I will definitely be going back here for my wedding bands and will happily steer anyone I know who is in the market for a great diamond and beautiful jewelry. I cannot recommend these guys enough! read more

This was my first (and hopefully last :P) engagement and I didn't know what to expect when I began the process. I had been to two other stores prior to Numined and I felt they were pressuring me into spending more than I had budgeted in order to find the perfect ring.. However, working with Shannon at Numined was perfect! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked with me to find the perfect setting and diamonds that met my criteria (e.g. making sure that the smaller side stones were also lab-grown, since I didn't want any diamonds to have been mined) while staying within my budget. My fiance absolutely adores the ring! I look forward to returning for the wedding bands! read more

The entire Numined staff was great to work with and were very patient with me tweaking the custom engagement ring design (thanks Stephanie). Isaac did an awesome job of explaining the fundamentals of diamond selection and all the different options available from sizing, lab grown diamonds. etc. My fiance obviously loves the ring and would definitely recommend Numined to anyone. read more

I had a great experience at Dimend SCASSI selecting an engagement ring for my fiance. I did a lot of research online ahead of time, so I had a pretty good idea walking into the store what style I wanted and what quality diamond I should be looking for based on my budget - I just needed to see the diamonds in person before making such an important purchase. I'm glad I did. You can look at pictures online all day long but not be able to tell subtle differences in color and clarity. Shannon did a great job showing me a range of diamonds within my budget of varying quality and prices, really helping me hone in on what I wanted. She taught me a few things that I didn't catch online and I ended up getting a great deal on an absolutely stunning ring. My fiance loves it and is consistently getting compliments about it. I'd recommend this to anyone and we'll be back for our wedding bands! read more

We loved Shannon - thank you so much for all your help! The process was easy and we felt comfortable making a great decision!

My fiancee wanted a diamond ring. So we were going to get her a diamond ring. I was incredibly relieved to find out that Numined provided lab grown diamonds. No human labor! No icky moral grey zones! No blood diamonds! No ridiculous markups! Aside from the lab growing process being absolutely FASCINATING to me, Numined diamonds are also remarkably cheaper than traditionally mined diamonds, and they're both scientifically and aesthetically identical. Why people would ever pay for a mined diamond is beyond me. Come to dimend SCAASI and get a Numined Diamond. You and your fiance won't regret it. (Your wallet and moral center will thank you as well) read more

My boyfriend and I went into Dimend SCAASI to look at engagement rings after finding the store on Yelp. We made an appointment for Saturday morning, and Isaac helped us out when we arrived. He patiently taught us quite a bit about diamonds, explaining the difference between natural and (more affordable) lab grown diamonds, which are purchased through Numined Diamonds. After I decided on a few settings that I liked best, Isaac gave us a chance to look at the diamonds and was very honest about quality and pricing. After visiting a few more places, we decided to go back to Dimend SCAASI to buy a ring. We opted for a lab grown diamond, as the price was better and we liked the guarantee that it was conflict-free. It also turned out to be absolutely beautiful in my setting! Because I customized the shape of the ring a bit, it ended up fitting differently than the model ring and was a bit loose when I originally received it. Dimend SCAASI was prompt in resizing it for free, and it now fits perfectly. Highly recommend this store as well as Numined Diamonds! read more

After being referred to the store by one of my best friends (who had recently gotten married), I purchased a custom engagement ring from dimend SCAASI in August 2015. My fiancé and I are extremely happy with our purchase. The ring turned out absolutely fantastic and we have received countless complements on it from family and friends. Most notably, my fiancé's mother and my mother were both thrilled with it (and that is no small feat to accomplish!). I also truly appreciated the approach that our salesperson (Stephanie) took in helping us arrive at a decision on the design and diamond. Both my fiancé and I are somewhat indecisive, but Stephanie did an excellent job at making a difficult and important decision seem easy. When I first came into the store, I was almost completely clueless about how to shop for diamonds. But, they did a fantastic job at helping me understand the key factors to take into consideration and which characteristics mattered most (and, they did so in an very efficient manner, which was incredibly helpful to me given the time demands involved with my profession). I would also note that they took a very "no-pressure" approach to the sales process. They were highly respectful of my budget and I never felt as if I was being "upsold" or steered to any particular diamond. They helped me figure out quite quickly how to get the "best bang for my buck" and were able to accommodate a budget with a fairly wide range. We are extremely satisfied customers and highly recommend dimend SCAASI to anyone who is shopping for custom engagement rings. read more

This was a great experience in getting an engagement ring for my fiancee. Shannon initially assisted in breaking down and showing difference between lab grown and natural diamonds, and then followed up with getting a good idea of what my soon to be fiancee was looking for in a setting as well as the focal diamond. After discussing what I had available for a budget she helped show me multiple options for great diamonds and helped to design the setting to meet every last request we made. Upon getting the final ring, I popped the question and my fiancee couldn't be happier with the result! I would highly recommend Diamond Scaasi for their expertise and how they broke down the different options to choose from. read more

I had one of the best and most pleasant experiences shopping for my fiancée's engagement ring at Dimend SCASSI. They have such a great website, which I used to view and compare the array of ring styles from home. Prior to going to Dimend SCASSI, I had visited many other jewelers nearby, but was not impressed with their customer service, workmanship, or quality of their products. All of the employees at Dimend SCASSI are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. With their expertise, we were able to match the perfect ring setting and diamond that complemented one another perfectly. My fiancée and I loved the final product!! I additionally loved that they were able to resize the ring for free to ensure the fit was perfect. Everywhere we go, my fiancée and I get complimented on the ring (though the credit will have to go to Dimend SCASSI). We will very likely return to purchase the wedding bands in the near future. read more

We could not be happier with our experience with dimend SCASSI. Stephanie was so helpful in walking us through their wide variety of options and choices before us. Her knowledge and craft is unparalleled. I am so glad we took our business here and whole-heartedly give Stephanie my warmest and most sincere recommendation. dimend SCASSI's selection, craftsmanship and personal touch turned an unfamiliar and somewhat intimidating process into one of the most memorable times my girlfriend and I have experienced together. We both went to pick out her ring because I wanted to make absolutely certain that she got exactly what she wanted. She ended up selecting a beautiful Numined Diamond, with a white gold setting and weeks later is still over the moon over the whole thing. I recently returned alone to pick up the ring and plan on popping the question in Europe in the following weeks as the Holidays arrive. I really can't wait. Thanks for making this chapter of my life this much more memorable! read more

When I knew that I wanted to propose to my long-time girlfriend, the main roadblock in getting me started was the perceived dread of the searching and buying process. I was thinking it was going to resemble the buying process of a new car with too many options and a pushy sales staff. I was referred to NUMINED by a co-worker who bought his engagement ring there and has been a return customer ever since. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a very friendly sales staff (Isaac and Shannon). They were more than helpful, asking great questions, always staying within budget, and never trying to up-sell for something I didn't want. For example, I said I wanted a simple solitaire setting and they only showed me simple solitaire settings. I eventually went with the lab grown option for the diamond. I had never even heard of it before and the staff at NUMINED did a top notch job educating me about the lab grown process. It was a perfect option for us as we both loved the ethical implications and the fact that it's the best way to get the most "bang for your buck." In the end, it was one of the most simple and rewarding buying processes I have ever gone through. You always feel like a valued customer (no matter your budget) and the prompt e-mail communication back and forth was fantastic. I would refer any of my friends to go here as I know they will not be disappointed. read more

My entire experience at Numined was amazing, particularly working with Issac. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful w design ideas and DID NOT pressure me at all. He even advised me not to go for something more expensive. He really wanted the ring to come out fantastically and be within budget. It was clear he wasn't trying to con his customers into spending more and wanted everyone to be extremely satisfied. My wife got numerous compliments on how unique her setting was. Making an appointment is the way to go. You can try to walk in but it may not be as fruitful. I never went on a weekend. His staff was also forgiving when I was running a few minutes late. Go to Numined, you won't regret it. read more

Numined Diamonds is the best! My fiancé and I felt like preferred customers from the moment we walked into the store. We were very nervous to pick out an engagement ring and Shannon walked us through each step of the process. Her knowledge of diamonds and setting styles is vast and she is very friendly and relatable. I love that she didn't pressure us into buying a ring that day, but we did because of the fantastic selection of settings and diamonds. I am so in love with my ring and get compliments on it daily. It is so sparkly and gorgeous. We can't wait to pick out our wedding bands next!! Bless you Shannon for your kindness and sweet nature. read more

We shopped around before settling with Numined Diamonds/Dimend Scaasi. Once we walked in, we knew this was the place for us. Their exquisite designs stood apart from everything we'd seen before. Isaac made us feel very comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. There were no high pressure sales tactics, unlike the other jewelers we visited. He worked with us to find rings we absolutely loved for prices we could afford. He gave us all the time we needed to feel comfortable with our purchase. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is shopping around. It's a different experience that can be felt instantly upon arrival. read more

After going to a few other retailers in the Chicago area and Las Vegas, also after doing a bunch of research online. I decided that Numined was the place for me and my fiancée. Purchasing a Lab Grown diamond felt good when there a so many shady places selling mined blood diamonds still. I was help by Shannon Hruza and never felt pressured to spend more money than I was comfortable with or rushed into getting something that they were trying to unload on a sucker. The selection of rings they have is huge, I took my time and got exactly what I wanted. A few weeks later the ring was ready and my fiancée loveds her ring. read more

Shannon was extremely helpful during our search for the perfect engagement ring. Very pleased with my experience here. Shannon was very knowledgeable and helpful in the selection process and helped me make a great selection. I was worried about the ethical dilemma that I would encounter when buying my fiancé's engagement ring. The sourcing of diamonds is extremely controversial, which is why I was very relieved to learn about Numined diamonds. First and foremost, they are real diamonds! Stunningly beautiful, you cannot tell the difference between lab-grown and mined diamonds (they are the same!). When I realized that lab-grown diamonds was an option, I was extremely enthusiastic. I feel much better about buying diamonds that are humane and conflict free. Thanks! read more

Lab created diamonds were appealing to my fiancee and I because not only are they cheaper, they are more ethical than mined diamonds. Purchasing an engagement ring through Numined was a great experience! Numined made the engagement ring purchase and sizing process a breeze. Because Numined is a sister business to Dimend Scaasi, they have years of experience and that experience shows. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the jewelry is modern and high quality. We would strongly recommend Numined to anyone in the market for diamond rings. read more

Shannon took care of us from the moment we walked in until the day I took home my new ring! I received a large diamond from a family heirloom and was looking for a new setting, so I needed someone special to trust. She was extremely helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for, plus, it was a super quick turnaround. We went to another jeweler down the street a few months earlier and it was the worst experience with a man that was extremely rude and dismissive. Shannon completely changed my perception of what a jeweler can deliver with both my experience AND the piece itself. HIGHLY highly highly recommend! read more

This place is as good as it gets. Not only do they carry beautiful, conflict-free, lab-grown diamonds, but they also custom-make most rings. Isaac, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about diamonds. We made an appointment to meet with him and we were warmly greeted and asked about the styles we were interested in. Once we picked a few styles of bands, he made additional recommendations and then we went into the office to look at some diamonds. We learned lots about these stones during the process. We talked budget, and he made sure to stick within our range. There wasn't that "used car salesman" vibe, and the whole process was incredibly low-pressure. We had been to several jewelers before, and they were always the ones to try and get the paperwork out and get us to buy. At Numined, I was the one who had to initiate the paperwork because we fell in love with a stone the first time we were there. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in the market for an engagement ring. read more

Can't say enough great things about Numined. I purchased an engagement ring from here and every step of the process was easy. I was initially attracted to this place because I knew I wanted to buy a ring using only lab-grown diamonds. It turned out the sales manager, Shannon, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was easy to communicate with and not pushy in any way. She gave us so much useful information and made the process hassle free. I ended up purchasing a ring that my fiancé was very happy with and still kept within my budget, which was made clear when the shopping started. Don't hesitate to use Numined! read more

The best. Knowledgeable, friendly staff and no pressure to purchase at any time. I would go nowhere else.

Numined/Dimend Scassi we're phenomenal! I went there on recommendation of my brother when I was looking for a ring for my now fiancé. Shannon was unbelievably helpful through the entire process. I cannot stress enough how great of an experience it was. I walked in without knowing anything and through the entire experience Shannon taught me all there was to know. The owner Isaac even stopped in a few times as well. I can honestly say Shannon seemed as genuine as they come, I did not at any point feel like I was being pressured or swayed like a car salesmen would try. She seemed to truly care about helping me find the perfect ring even though I threw a million questions at her. My ring was 100% custom and it made it that much more special! I would recommend this place to any one of my friends. I'll be a lifelong customer. They made such a stressful experience more pleasant than I could've asked for! read more

Put your trust in numined!!! Save yourself so much time, and start your engagement ring search at numined diamonds. It's your one stop shop to finding the perfect ring that you will be so happy with. We had such a great experience here, i would reccomend it 100% to everyone. The lab Diamonds are so incredibly beautiful, you cannot tell a difference between earth grown and these lab grown. There are so many settings to choose from, but they will also help you design something different and unique to your style. They are also so great about working with your budget and helping you find a beautiful ring in your price range. They don't want you to be dissapointed. Cannot say enough good things, so give them a try. The President of the company, Isaac, is wonderful. And all the staff is super friendly and helpful. Response times for emails is very quick in my opinion, i even got a response to a question after hours. I was skeptical at first, but i am beyond estatic with the outcome of my ring. read more

I just received a nearly one carat diamond from NUMINED as the center stone in my gorgeous engagement ring from my wonderful future husband. The diamond from NUMINED is absolutely breathtaking. There is no discernible difference between the NUMINED lab grown diamond and a more "natural" stone (I went into my jeweler for re-sizing after receiving the ring and she showed me natural versus NUMINED diamonds to illustrate). Seriously. I would have had no idea. Not only is the quality spectacular but buying a NUMINED diamond allowed my fiance to get a larger carat stone at a more cost effective price without sacrificing any quality. Plus, you are assured that the diamond is conflict free. I am beyond thrilled and could not give a higher recommendation! read more

I found Dimend Scaasi after doing plenty of research online. As everyone knows, when ring shopping you do not want to end up at the wrong place! Their reviews had many satisfied customers, so I made it a must to check them out first. Yes, my wife and I had a list of places we were going to check out, but my gut told me they had what I wanted. We were greeted by Shannon who was very personable and began showing us settings. She also answered any questions we had and did not rush us at all. Stephanie then took us under her wing and my wife and I could not have been more pleased with her service. She told us about lab grown diamonds and we were sold! You would never know the difference. Stephanie does everything she can to keep within budget while making sure you get what you want. Stephanie is very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, accommodating and makes the process of finding that perfect diamond a breeze. Stephanie was always keeping us in the loop and we received the ring within a couple of weeks. It was perfect! We would highly recommend Dimend Scaasi for all your jewelry needs and we highly recommend looking into a NUMINED diamond. It's nice to walk out of a business feeling like you got the best care you could get! You will not be disappointed when Shannon and Stephanie are taking care of ya! read more

My husband has been wanting to get a diamond ring for me ever since I lost mine over ten years ago. We have been married for quite a while and, although he really wanted to do this for me, I thought my wedding band was enough...plus the thought of combing through the many jewelers and going through the buying process, etc...seemed overwhelming! Finally this past birthday I relented and started searching on yelp. I chose the top five jewelers and began setting appointments...our first being Numined Diamonds/ Dimend SCAASI...which also turned out to be our last and only appointment. On a cloudy Saturday morning we met with Isaac and cancelled all our other meetings. Isaac and his passionate knowledge, quiet sales style and genuine nature won us over before we looked at our first stone. We settled on a Numined diamond for several personal reasons and never looked back. During the 4-6 process of waiting for our diamond to "grow", Isaac and his staff stayed in touch and even called us when another numined diamond came to their attention that might be a better fit for us to offer it as an alternative - which turned out to be the one we chose. In addition, while designing the band and halo, Stephanie, helped us through the CAD drawing process and guided our decisions to the gorgeous final result. My husband and I picked up the ring this morning and I must say it far exceeded our every expectation...the diamond ring is absolutely stunning- breathtaking!! (I should interject here that I am very particular when it comes to details - I am in the design world and details mean the world to me. Isaac made small but critical changes to the prongs and height before I saw the piece which gave it the right overall look- substantial but delicate...impactful but not gaudy) My point is I cannot say enough great things about Numined Diamonds, Dimend SCAASI, Isaac and his staff! Not only is the final product incredible but the entire experience was beyond enjoyable...... read more

My Fiancé and I went to dimend SCASSI in April 2016 to look for an engagement ring. We were pretty new to Chicago at the time and this would be the most expensive thing either of us had ever purchased. Needless to say we were a little unsure how buying a diamond ring would go. One of my fiancé's co-workers recommended that we visit dimend SCASSI since he had a great experience there. We worked with Shannon for our appointment and I can't say enough great things about the experience. Shannon worked with us within our budget to guide us through the steps of picking out an amazing ring that ended up being under our budget! I get compliments on it all the time and couldn't be happier! Shannon answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable about the purchase. We never felt pressured to spend more then we were willing or even purchase the ring that day (though I loved it so much we did end up buying the ring that day). She understands that this is a big purchase for couples and takes the time to walk customers through the different aspects of designing a setting and picking out a diamond. I highly recommend dimend SCASSI to anyone! Set up an appointment and you won't be disappointed. read more

Stephanie at Numined has been nothing but helpful and patient while I was shopping for an engagement ring. We had wanted a synthetic diamond and after I looked online and in physical stores for two months (even buying a dud online and returning it), I eventually found Numined. You can see the reviews are excellent. When you walk into their shop they don't overwhelm you like some other big name stores trying to immediately sell you things, and they certainly don't ignore you. They will approach you and if you need anything they will tell you everything you need to know. Stephanie showed me ASET images of all the diamonds I wanted to see, let me look at it with her microscopes with different degrees of magnitude (I asked to see the ID Number etched onto the side of the diamond, as well as any imperfections in any diamond), go to the window and see how it looks in the sunlight and even under the desk with no light, she was incredibly helpful and patient with me. She even ordered more diamonds in my price range and specifications when I wanted to see more. I was also incredibly picky with the band that would be used and their CAD team made maybe 5 or 6 brand new band designs to try and match what I wanted. EVEN then, after I chose the band and they made it and fitted the diamond, I wanted it adjusted and they took it back and did it! I am thankful that I was able to find Numined and have Stephanie help me through the entire process. Others there also offered their help whenever they could. I couldn't be happier with them. Overall I would recommend Numined to anyone! read more
