i went to dr. gegory because my foot dr. suggested him. i've never been ghosted and certainly not by a dr. i went in to see him regarding lymphadema that i thought i had. it was a free consulation. he said i had lymphadema. to come back next week. i was waiting in the waiting room, he comes out to the waiting room saying he's going to talk to a couple places and get sleeves for me he'll call me in 24-48 hours. i called 3 days later to talk to him and he never called back, i called him and left another message ... he never called back! who does that!!?? very unprofessional!! and you talk to me about my issue in the lobby? because he is also a med spa... i personally think that he really couldn't make money off me and had no interest. i don't do reviews unless the dr. is good, but this guy, if he couldn't help me, should have told me so... so i could go find another dr. shame on you dr.! read more

#1 My face is completely asymmetric. #2 Never had the Botox jammed into my face so hard, hurt badly. #3 He did not know what a "Liquid Eye Lift" was. #4 He mixed Botox outside the room, is re re-using vials? #5 An MD, especially a CTS, should have estheticians or nursing doing this sort of stuff, honestly, thats very fishy. #6 Waited 20 minutes to even be addressed in the waiting room. #7 I don't think wicker furniture is very sanitary in a physician's office. #8 Told me not to get Botox at all. I have had two procedures at Nuimage and both were a great experience. The first was hair removal. All gone, and hasn't come back. More recently I had a face peel with Madison. I have some " sun spots" on my face and wanted them removed. Dr Derderian recommended a face peel, for the most "bang for the buck". Yes, he was right. Dr. Derderian is honest, conservative, professional and gentle; everything that you want in a doctor and more. I visited Dr. D for botox and a forming spider vein. I was greeted immediately by the doctor and the office manager in the quaint downtown Birmingham office. As someone in the healthcare industry, I feel compelled to share my experience as it was truly one of the bests that I've had. I usually get 8-10 botox units in my forehead and he actually recommended a lesser amount (7 units). To me, this was a very honest move as in my experience, many doctors and estheticians require a 20 unit minimum and want to pump you full of fillers to build up your bill. It's worth noting that people have commented that he fills the syringe outside of the room and to some this seems "sketchy". However, if you're familiar with the product and the storage requirements, you'll know that Botox MUST be refrigerated. Hence why it's kept in the refrigerator. He also performed a laser treatment on the what I believe was the beginning of a spider vein. I've had multiple laser treatments and laser hair removal, I have to say- the laser Dr. D uses was quick and painless. I was in, out and on my way to lunch in no time. I do want to point out that in my mind, what set him apart is his sincerity. He won't sell you on something you don't need just to make a buck. In fact, my experience was quite the contrary- he was telling me that I didn't need fillers and that I needed a lower dose of botox than I've gotten anywhere in Chicago. read more

With regard to the response, consider it for a moment. 1, he says that his lawyer found out all this stuff about me, otherwise they never would have sued. But... why would a lawyer be looking into me if they hadn't already hired him to sue me? 2, For those of you who don't have reason to know, when you file a suit, you include not only what facts support your case, but what evidence you already have. Anyone can go and look this case up and read their filing. You will see this new "story" is nowhere in his original response or counterclaim, and nowhere does he state or provide these supposed exonerating videos or audio. If he had, why dismiss the case? 3, Anyone can go and look at the complaint I filed with the Attorney Grievance Commission over the behavior of his attorney, who BTW, already has a history of being suspended for the exact same kind of tactics. In this case, his office manager called me, pretended to be an attorney, and told me if I didn't pay her client, she was going to file a warrant for my arrest. That's not how any of that works, and it's against legal ethics to threaten someone with criminal prosecution if they don't respond to a civil matter. You can also see from the public record that never happened. If I thought these guys were just incompetent and thirsty before, now it's clear they are straight up shady. Buyer beware. read more

I have been a patient a NuImage for almost 3 years. Doctor D very talented and conservative- which I thoroughly appreciate. I utilize the spa for many services and have referred over 10 personal contacts of which I have received thanks over and over again. I even send a friend in for botox and doc let her know she really did not need it- that to me was really impressive. She walked out without spending $1- but will definitely be back when the time calls for it because of his professionalism. The med spa is in a very nice area and is very pleasant inside with a comfortable lobby area including Keurig coffee and sweets- just what every woman needs. The staff including Courtney and Hayley are very helpful and knowledgable. I plan to continue my services for years to come (and possibly add some as that become necessary, haha). BEWARE!! BEWARE! I bought a groupon for Botox and on August 23 I had my appointment. I notice on October 13 yesterday that when I squint I still have these lines between my eyes. At over a month I should not be able to move that area. This is a rip off probably because it was a groupon. I've had Botox before I shouldn't be able to move between my eyes it should last about 4 months. This doctor is a rip off and a crook. I should not have to come back for a "touch up"because you diluted the Botox. I will never come back here again. I hope no ones gets ripped off like I did. Horrible service and lasers that don't work are camouflaged by a pretty interior. Don't get swayed by this Med Spa's location. I prepaid for 6 sessions and didn't use my last one because the service was so horrible and the laser didn't affect my hair growth in the slightest. The technicians were all over the place every time I came in. They mixed up my charts more than once, had me waiting (once for 35 minutes) every time I came in and would claim to leave confirmation messages and never did! They seemed very inexperienced overall and were unapologetic when they messed up. Customer service is not their thing. Do not waste your money here.
