I am 60 years old and I had severe droopy eyelids and a very deep frown lines between my brows, (11s). I did six months of research and finally drilled down to choosing Dr. Mune Gowda. I made the right decision! Believe it or not, it took a lot of courage for me to make that first call to set up a Consultation. At the Consultation, I was somewhat embarrassed to enter Dr. Mune Gowda's office, but immediately I felt comfortable, the front desk staff was amazing and even had me laughing. During Consultation, Dr. Mune Gowda recommends Blepharoplasty, for the loose skin of my upper eye lid, Corrugator Muscle Excision with Fat Transfer for my deep frown lines. Of course, I agreed, and an appointment was set up for pre op and surgery. I knew what Blepharoplasty was, but I wasn't sure what was involved in the Corrugator Muscle Excision. Dr. Mune Gowda explained that this muscle causes the deep frown lines (between by brows), and it will be removed. I never heard of such a thing! I was extremely excited. I went home to research "Corrugator Muscle Excision" and I couldn't find much online. I couldn't even find other surgeons in my area that did this kind of surgery. So I knew I chose the right surgeon. After Surgery, and after the removal of my stitches. I was so amazed that I could not make that frown line between my brows. Another thing that I noticed is that Dr. Gowda transferred fat to my deep frown lines that the deep frown lines were gone!!!!!!! He also did an amazing job on my eyelids considering there was A LOT of loose skin. It looks like 20 years was taken off my face. And I am not finished healing yet. Amazing! Dr. Gowda is amazing and im surprised im the first one to rate him. He is extremely talented. He is fun and charming and has a great personality. His office staff is veryyyy friendly and nice and non judgemental. Dr. Gowda tells you what he thinks and had exceptional craftsmanship. I had my ears pinned back and he did an amazing job! There was a stitch that bothered me and I went back to him teo years later and he took it out with no questions asked. I adore him and wish I could get more procedures done by him :) read more

Dr Gowda is phenomenalHe is pleasant, kind, & a true master of his craft. He answered all of my questions and delivered everything I wanted for my results. He repaired a botched lipo job that another plastic surgeon performed and gave me the body I wanted & deserve. I interviewed a half dozen surgeons in the area and he was the most thorough and proficient. Staff is kind, office & surgical suite are beautiful & modern. Highest recommendations! Dr. Gowda left the country for holiday shortly after my surgery and my post op care was performed by nurses. The surgical incision did not heal correctly and as a result, I was in sever pain and have a large scar. Now I am faced with needing more surgery to correct the scar. I am not happy with the outcome and especially unhappy about needing additional costly and painful surgery to fix a bad job. read more

I'm surprised to see the negative post about Dr. Gowda. I have been in his office many times and have always found him to be pleasant, taking all the time I needed to spend with me. I have had a couple of procedures done - to my great satisfaction. I recommend him highly to everyone. read more

Dr. Gowda I'm sure was a good doctor at one time. He is over extended and has lost his dedication to the patient. There are much better doctors to consider and with much more dedication to patient satisfaction. He is no longer fun and charming. He's continually angry, yelling at his staff and patients. Dr. Gowda you need to go back to what made you a better doctor because you've lost your appeal and your perfection you claim is so important to you. I am a 30 year old male, and my entire life I have struggled with acne. This has led to dark spots and acne scars on my face that I was looking to get rid of. I went in to have the Halo laser procedure done on my face, and could not be more dissatisfied with it. The procedure was performed by a woman named Kelly, who told me it would feel like rubber bands snapping on my face. It was much more painful than that, and afterwards my face felt like it was hanging over a fire for the next three hours. I would have been completely fine with the pain if the results had turned out how they were promised. The first 7 days I spent indoors due to the recovery process (which I was aware of). After my face had peeled, my face looked a lot better. It was a little pink, and I could still see some of the scars, but definitely an improvement. After two weeks the scars and dark spots started to come back. At three weeks (today) I have developed large dark areas where my two main dark spots were. It basically looks like I have a bruise on both of my cheek bones. I went in to see Kelly, and was given an answer of "sorry, this normally doesn't happen". She sold me a bleaching creme for $55 and told me to come back in 4 weeks to see if it works. As of now, my skin looks worse than it did before the laser treatment. I was told I would see amazing results after three weeks, but I am just let with hyperpigmentation on my face that leaves me feeling depressed and regretful. I'm writing this review so people don't make the same mistake that I did. Be aware of the major risks associated with this procedure, and do research. If anything changes, I will update this review.
