Not to mention most of the BT's there look 17 to 22 ( They do not drug test employees) so someone can go smoke a blunt put some eye drops in and take care of my disabled child come on now most of them look like they don't even have kids. They're nice, but that doesn't mean they're qualified to take care of your children let alone special needs children that sometimes lash out or get aggressive .I heard a lot of bad things about ABA and I wanted to try it myself. This was just my personal experience so far honestly, I just feel like it was a glorified daycare with glorified babysitters and my son needs more than that I'm looking into OT and speech therapy and possibly a different ABA! Just do your research don't feel pressured into putting your kid into this program full-time ( like me) make sure you ask all the right questions and you meet all the BTs that will be caring for your child. A lot of people tell me you can request in the home sessions to where you can be present, but of course they never offer that to me. Texted them that it was unacceptable and I Never took my son back because I just didn't feel right about it and they didn't reply to me so unprofessional I'm glad I only had my son there for 3 weeks or before he got really badly injured.. follow your mommy instincts! Look around before committing and if u do remember u can take ur child out at ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON!! It's your right

My son has always been one of The fastest learners in his class Per all of his teachers, so I was Really confused when she gave us this diagnosis. When we were in her office for the diagnostic testing, She Offered to also do a IQ test. My first question when she asked if we wanted to do this was, How will this work since he has speech delays? I was told we have ways to make them understand the questions, etc. We were not allowed to be in the room either. After I got the results, I asked her how is this possible if he's known to be one of the fastest learners in his class? He reads he does math really well for his age. He's actually Right on power, if not learning fast faster than some of the other kids, his age Typical or not.. I wasn't really given any answers for that. A few months later, the regional center wanted a second diagnostic testing done with a Separate party that we went to. Right off the bat just after a few moments with him, she told us there's no way he has IDD But just to further test it, she did an IQ test also however, this time she gave him one for kids who are nonverbal. He passed with flying colors.. My reason for writing this is to Not shame anyone but to hopefully Make people think. Even though you are trained It's important to listen to parents concerns since they really do know their children the best. In this case, I would've hoped that Question of how this test will work since he has speech delays I wish that that was taken a little bit more seriously and thought about more strategically. We went through a lot of Emotional roller coasters because of this wrong diagnosis. It made me also feel like I didn't know my son the way I thought I did. I tried to step back and see things from a different angle thinking maybe because I'm his mom. I'm doing too much and I'm not seeing things clearly. This caused a lot of stress in pain in my life and my family's life. It kept nagging at me that I knew it couldn't be the case just from knowing my son and not that there's anything wrong with it if he did have one, but I just knew he didn't. In the end, I am thankful that he was able to really be seen and diagnosed properly elsewhere.

I have been working with Jeanette and Lindsay closely and affectionately as they have been an integral part in the stability and overall quality of life that I am so, soooo grateful for. If not for them, I know my family would still be struggling to understand our autistic daughter and certainly she would not be the happy, giggly, funny, goofy kid that she is today. Praise to the amazing work that is done every day by caring, inspired and loving individuals who make this world such a beautiful place to enjoy. Karma Doctors and Associates, and my provider, Dr. Keerthy Sunder, MD, deserve a standing ovation…read more From the moment I walk in, I'm met with an atmosphere of genuine care and professionalism. The staff is excellent--friendly, attentive, and incredibly patient-centered. They listen, validate, and make you feel seen as a person, not just a patient, which makes all the difference on the healing journey. Dr. Keerthy Sunder embodies compassionate, patient-focused care at every turn. He takes the time to understand my history, explains treatment options clearly, and partners with me in every decision about my health. His approach is thoughtful, thorough, and anchored in real empathy. I leave each appointment feeling respected, hopeful, and confident in the plan we've laid out together. Outstanding communication is a hallmark of the practice. The team is consistently responsive and proactive, ensuring I'm never in the dark about my care. They're always available to talk, answer questions, and provide guidance between visits. This level of accessibility has been a game-changer, helping me stay engaged with my treatment and feel secure throughout the process. My current treatment includes Transcranial Mental Stimulation (TMS). For those unfamiliar, TMS is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. It's performed on an outpatient basis and requires no anesthesia. The benefits can include improved mood, increased energy, better sleep, and a reduction in depressive symptoms--often for individuals who have not fully responded to traditional medications. The procedure is relatively comfortable, with minimal side effects, and is complemented by a supportive medical team guiding you every step of the way. I've found TMS to be a hopeful and effective option, and I appreciate that my care team explains the process, monitors progress, and adjusts the plan as needed. I am on the road to a speedy recovery, thanks to the combination of expert medical care, compassionate support, and a patient-first approach that Karma Doctors and Associates provides. This group sets the bar for patient care--merging clinical excellence with genuine warmth and reliability. If you're seeking mental health care that prioritizes your needs, communicates with clarity and kindness, and offers robust, evidence-based treatments like TMS, I wholeheartedly recommend Karma Doctors and Associates and Dr. Keerthy Sunder, MD. The care I'm receiving is excellent, and I feel confidently supported every step of the way. This is the standard to which all medical groups should aspire. Thank you!

They lie and tell you you're going to have a psych evaluation with a doctor in the pre-screening…read morecall but then you end up with Josh and Rachel who have zero mental health qualifications/credentials to do psychiatric evaluations. Josh and Rachel are extremely inappropriate and it was very obvious they do not have therapist credentials. I expressed something very sensitive concerning a crime that took place against my at the time 4 year old son. Josh nor Rachel even bothered to ask if my son was ok which was my first sign that something was extremely wrong with this "psych evaluation" Real licensed providers are mandatory reporters. They legally have to ask if the child is safe and disclose that they are mandatory reporters. Neither Josh nor Rachel said a word. Josh sat emotionless and sighed and Rachel sat there as if I was talking about rice not an extreme crime against my child. Say what you want to me but when it comes to anyone showing malice or lack of concern or care towards MY child, that's when my tolerance becomes zero. Also don't bother filling out your assessment form, they do not read it. Imagine telling someone in writing on a medical form that you're adopted and your adopted parents harmed your child and then that person asks you "do you have a good relationship with your parents?" I was in complete shock. They were also 10 minutes late to the appointment via zoom. so I sat there for 15 minutes waiting on them because I signed in early to make sure I was on time. They did not even bother to apologize nor acknowledge that they were late. This was the first red flag followed by the inappropriate comments about my family life that I detailed earlier in writing on an assessment form, that they didn't read. This clinic is most likely violating quality of care policies and allows random staff members who are the equivalent of a receptionist to do psych evaluations on patients with extreme trauma and long term suicidal ideation. I honestly have no words for why this place has been allowed to stay open but I reported the owner "Dr Sunder" to the medical board of California as well as my insurance because I know for a fact my insurance would not approve of me being mislead to believe I was meeting with a doctor for a psych evaluation only to be bamboozled by two people who aren't therapists, not trauma informed, lack sensitivity training and are NOT a psychiatrist. Run away from this place as fast as you can. Lastly, anyone who has ever done a real psych evaluation knows the provider always states their credentials at the beginning of the session and explains in detail the question process of the meeting. None of this happened because they aren't therapists and have no training Real mental health providers read your assessment form and don't ask you if the people who committed a crime against a 4 year old child (my child) are good people. Dr Sunder is real but his staff are not credentialed psych providers and should never be given access to people with complex trauma. Nor should they have any control over access to TMS treatment plans when they do not care if a child was harmed in one of the most traumatic and heinous ways. I am in shock because the last time I witnessed that level of apathy was from my adopted parents. This has been beyond traumatizing and I hope Dr Sunder loses his license
