I find it sad that the reviews of ABS kids are always put down when my child had been in the center for three years learned how to talk learned how to behave and now is doing an in-home services and excelling. The staff in the center the staff helping with the in-home services have always been excellent and helping my child that was once told that he would never talk and that he was so severe now enjoying life like a normal child. If you were a parent and willing to put the work in and not just let staff members do all the work and then you will see results you get what you put in. Thank you so much ABS kids. read more

Just getting information from them is frustrating the intake form ask for insurance card copies, diagnosis information, DOB for child and insurance holders etc etc , after you provide this online, someone still calls you and ask for allll this information again over the phone . Eventually they tell you they can add you to "an interest list" when asking what that means or for clarification , do you have availability in my area?" I get the same monotone response back "well we have an interest list" How can you expect a potential client to run through hops getting insurance approvals and you can't provide a clear answer of availability. Front desk and management have ZERO sense of urgency; they lack the care to respect other people's time and needs. Need an answer for something? Don't expect a timely response. They beat around the bush when giving you answers and can't give it to you straight. Terrible company to work for. It is disappointing to have been employed here, let alone to leave your children at a place like this. I got hired as a Behavioral Technician. They made me take my RBT test instead and strong-armed me into being an RBT, not a BT, like the position I applied for. After taking my test, HR said they would be reaching out shortly. I never heard back in at least two weeks; they finally had their financial advisor reach out and say my last paycheck would be getting sent out shortly. Very unprofessional, and I feel embarrassed to have said I was once employed by this company. They left me high and dry while I could have been looking for another position. Very frustrating experience with them. Absolutely inflexible on the hours they "recommend" for the child's therapy expecting our son to give up any and all after-school activities in order to be accepted into the program. Son is home schooled two days a week and we even offered to be available on weekends but they refused to adjust any hours. They denied us service then actually said it was due to OUR inability to be available 15 hours a week. It was clear during the experience that their interest is in maximizing weekly billable hours and not helping children in need. We will be reporting them to inland regional center. read more

I WAS interested in becoming an employee with ABS Kids. I signed up for a 30 minute Zoom interview, with Jennifer Garcia as my interviewer. I made sure to free up an hour of my schedule to prepare for this, and to allow time for any overlap in case the interviewer had further questions etc. I dressed up in professional attire and researched the company in great length to prepare for a successful interview. Jennifer starts the Zoom call with, "What is your zip code?". This felt like a very impersonal way to start an interview. I told her my zip code with a smile on my face prepared for next questions I carefully prepared for leading up to the interview. She then asked, "What is your availability". When I told her my schedule, offering more than 3 business days of full availability with two other days of part time availability, she said in a very rude way, "I can't proceed with this interview because you don't have the time we need". She then ended the interview!!! I never was thanked for interviewing, and she had a terribly poor demeanor. It was also never written in the application that you need EVERY DAY FREE!!! I come from a family of many medical doctors in the area, and I would never recommend ABS to them nor any friends/family based on the sheer lack of kindness and respect shown in the interview. If they could care less about potential employees, they could care less about their clients. Cash mill for sure. read more
