This is a long overdue review. After a pretty terrible experience at another speech therapy facility, we were grateful to check this one out. There was a waitlist, but after a couple months, we received a call that there was space available. Most of the popular times were taken, but we eventually found a schedule that worked for us. I know that there are mixed reviews about the front reception area, but from our experience, Cindy is exceptionally great at what she does. She may come off as strict, or maybe not as friendly at first, but she is the one that holds the fort down. For what she does, she needs to be that gatekeeper. She makes sure that the paperwork is there, the insurance is applicable, the schedules for all the therapists are set, the common area stays clean, there is just so much that she does that people don't realize. She is truly great, and I stand by my comment that she is a huge asset to that team. My son was in speech therapy since he was two years old. At that point, he only said one word. We started virtual therapy because of Covid, and eventually moved into a on prem therapy. When his therapist left the facility, we were heartbroken and had anxiety about what we would do. At that point he was also doing speech therapy through the public school system, but we felt like he still needed that one on one practice. His first session at Little Sprouts was with Amanda. She has a ton of energy, and unlike his other therapist, which was mostly play based, Amanda got down to business. She incorporated rewards along the way, and little incentives, but most of it was hard work. I believe we were there for about a year and a half before my son was clear to graduate. I give a lot of credit to the hard work that Amanda put in with him, the work we did at home that she recommended, and the group sessions that he had through public school. It truly takes a village. It's always difficult to see your child struggle with something that you feel might be out of your hands. It's amazing how quickly they can catch up with a lot of perseverance and focus. This facility is amazing, Amanda is an excellent therapist, and I couldn't be more thankful and grateful for them! Very disappointing experience, Cindy the front desk lady was always rude and condescending and even closed the window at the desk when my child tried to say hello to her which was our last straw but not the only issue we had. Who does that to a child? Especially one with special needs? Don't work with children if you can't be bothered with them. My daughters first session the OT couldn't work with her or help her regulate while she had some behaviors and difficulties adjusting to the new environment (daughter is on the spectrum) as it takes her time to warm up and adjust to new people and environments. OT was very passively natured and I could immediately feel that she was not cut out to work with kids who had any issues with adjusting or needing help to emotionally regulate, which surprised me being that it's an OT clinic. It felt as if they didn't want us to return back after one session being a little bit challenging. We switched to another clinic and have had an amazing experience and OTs that help regulate and help with strategies and solutions and understand our kids need time and patience and help to regulate often times! We felt unwelcome and like they were judgmental seeing a child struggle to emotionally regulate and didn't feel cared for or like they wanted to be helpful. Super disappointing and wish we would've skipped this clinic all together. read more

From the moment that we arrived it wasn't a positive experience . They said we never had made an appointment and after 30 minutes of waiting patiently they finally found out that we had and didn't even apologize , all they could say is they need to reschedule because they had over booked. The receptionist was pleasant but once Shari got involved it all turned sour. Shari F. the owner had a horrible attitude!!!! She continually kept talking and interrupting us.Therefore we did not reschedule an appointment and will NEVER RETURN! We scheduled and appointment the very next day at Laurie Schoenberg in Temecula and we're couldn't of been happier. It isn't easy having a child with a mental disability. Since our daughter is now being treated by Laurie her social skills have improved substantially. read more

The front desk secretary Cindy is very mean, rude and unprofessional since the very beginning. I chose to go through with the process anyway due to the high star rating. The other staff is great but having to deal with Cindy at the front desk for every apt is a nightmare. We no longer go here and no longer refer family and friends. read more

It's great to be able to take my children to a safe place where they receive outstanding services. So when my son started going here(he's artistic and I'm dyslexic) he was three and non verbal. Now a year later he is speaking mostly full sentences! Hedi is amazing working with him and his autism. She is super patient and kind with him. Landon actively looks forward to going to speech every week and has a ton of fun every time we go! 10/10 I recommend little sprouts!!!!! read more

Little Sprouts is really an amazing place. My son just started speech therapy here at the beginning of the year and after many issues with our insurance we almost had to stop going, but the staff at little sprouts went above and beyond to help assist us in finding another way to keep him in his therapy. They extended their knowledge to me and I wouldn't have been able to do all of this without them. Shari and Lisa are absolutely incredible and I cannot thank them enough for advocating for my child. My son absolutely loves his ST Natalie and the whole entire staff makes you feel welcome! I'm so excited to see what progress my sons makes as we continue in this journey. My daughter who has an IEP participates in Occupational and Speech therapy 2x a week. My daughter has made a substantial improvement in her ability to overall express herself in language. Thank you Miss Natalie! OT has increased her confidence and desire to do things for herself!! Of course she still needs help in some areas but she at least tries to do tasks that are age appropriate on her own! Thank you Miss Sabrina! After the session they suggest small tasks (homework) to complete at home to continue working towards my daughters goals. I highly recommend Little Sprouts Therapy Center. read more

Absolutely love this place! My 3 year old son had very limited words, he wouldn't repeat anything back, and couldn't put two words together. Within a month he was actually saying more words. He was also willing to repeat words. He is excited to attend his sessions and does not want to leave! All the staff is amazing and extremely nice. We see results after every visit! read more

The therapists here are absolutely wonderful with the children and super pleasant to work with as a parent. Our daughter started going here when she was 2 and right away she started enjoying her time with the teacher/therapist. She is normally shy with strangers (which is a good thing), but it did not take long for her to get comfortable here and start improving her speech and interactions at home. This place would get 5 stars from me, except for the front office and billing staff. I'm hard pressed to think of a place with less competent people taking payments and answering questions about billing. The cost is already a bit high (even with insurance) for just 30-minute sessions, but it is worse when your payments are not applied correctly, and they can't figure it out. Worse, they never call you back when they say they will, and you keep having to hound them to get back to you. In the end, we had to stop going due to this, and we are now checking into alternatives for our daughter. read more

We came to the new office at Little Sprouts Therapy for OT & Speech today and were amazed and blessed by the waiting room! So many families here spend a lot of time in hospitals and dr offices and it's so refreshing to be somewhere a couple times a week that looks like this! A comfortable living room where we can rest, watch therapy sessions via FaceTime, read or just watch tv. They even have a glider in the corner for mamas with babies. My daughter loves arts and crafts and being here one hour each session with a little craft table is such a huge blessing to my mommy heart. If you are looking for somewhere to receive therapies for your child I recommend trying Little Sprouts. read more

I made an appt in November just to be told the soonest available is January 3rd . I was okay with that. I received a phone call last week of December saying my appt had been moved to the 18th of January, again I was okay with this. Just to receive a phone call the day before our appt stating "we are so sorry but at this time we will not be excepting new pts, however I can make you an appt in February or March if you would like" I was in shock.. I mentioned that our appt was made back in November. She just apologized again. But still no results. I thought a review would be maybe beneficial for someone and hopefully this does not happen to you. read more

today was horrible.. i wish i can give them minus stars , my son has 8 years old, diagnosed with autism , the speech therapist ( kathleen ) slap him with full hand on his face , she thought nobody was there but I was outside looking from the window between the blinds .. Wasn't happy at all with this facility. My son was there for a half hour twice a week and it was like torture. He was placed in a high chair with his feet dangling (which he hates) and his therapist Jessica would place an iPad on the ground in front of him so he'd have to maneuver his body in an uncomfortable position to see the ground over the tray. She would also move at a very fast pace to have him identify toys and when he reached for them she'd yank them away. I videotaped a couple of sessions to show to his pediatrician and his ABA therapist who both concurred this was neither appropriate nor effective therapy. She was not a very friendly person either. When he would greet her at the door she would shoo him away or ignore him until she was ready for session. Was not happy here at all. In the time we were here, he did not progress. I've since found a facility where he is thriving. read more

Charlotte is an excellent Speech Pathologist who works so patiently with our son to improve his articulation of certain letters and words. We appreciate her attentiveness with daily calendar practice exercises which our son loves to do each day. Thank you Charlotte!! read more

This facility was awful. We were there for just the evaluation and 4 30-minute sessions before seeking a new speech pathologist. During our first session, the therapist took my son back without me and, I found out later, confined him to a high chair to ensure compliance. Each subsequent session, the therapist argued with me about why my son needed the chair despite my objections. She also made excuses as to why I should not be in the room. She never provided any of the information that we asked for. She made no effort to get to know my son nor what motivated him. ZERO results and a complete waste of time and money! The front office was also less than desirable. They billed my insurance (and me) twice for the same visit under two different procedure code and amounts. Only one service was clearly provided. The other charge was clearly fraudulent. I had them remove the charge from my account and filed a fraud complaint against them with my insurance company. In addition, they refused until forced to bill my secondary insurance (which they accept). They preferred to bill me for the entire amount and not do the work. The billing practices and their methods leave this facility less than desirable. I would seriously consider using another speech pathologist! read more

I am so thankful that I found Little Sprouts. My daughter who is now 2 years and 4 months has been coming here twice a week for almost 6 months now. When my daughter started her speech was very limited to only a few basic words like mama and dada and that is all. Now she is putting two and three words together! Her therapist Lindsay is amazing and is terrific with my daughter who is usually very shy. I love that the children go in to their sessions without us the parents around. I watch all of her sessions from my iPad or iPhone with headphones. I think that this really allows the child to learn and concentrate more without the distraction of mom or dad being there in the room. The entire staff is wonderful and the lobby is very comfortable. I will forever be grateful for how Lindsay has worked with Sophia and not only blossoming her speech, but increasing her confidence as well. I have friends who have taken their kids to other places around here and the quality of care and the way they provide services does not come close to comparing with Little Sprouts! read more

My 4-year-old son has been to a few speech therapists and this place so far is the best. Elisabeth, his therapist, is both energetic and patient with him at the same time. She knows how to get him engaged and learn. I can see progress in him which I did not see when he was with other therapists. I like the fact that I have been able to watch most sessions on my phone from the waiting room or in my car via a Skype video connection, and I could see how Elisabeth conducted a session and how my son learned. Without this service, I had to be in the room to watch, and my presence would distract my son from learning. Katie, the receptionist, is pleasant and helpful. She always tries her best to help me with video connection problem when it happened. I want to also mention they have a nice and clean waiting room with comfortable sofas. Love this place everyone is very friendly and work hard to make sure your kids is doing well. They have had a bit of a turn over but everyone they get on board is good addition to their family. So i recommend them because we have been there over a year and have been very pleased. Even with the new people! Give them a chance yes it takes time to get in but it does everywhere because therapy places are short handed. read more

My 3 yr old has been seeing Kathleen for over a year now and boy has she come a long way with her speech. She loves going to her appointments every week and I really feel good sending her there. This is a great place! The therapists are awesome and kind. My son has grown tremendously in the time we have been going here. I like how their rooms are seperate and enclosed allowing for 1 on 1 time with the therapist. I also like how you can skype in to see whats going on without interrupting the session. I do wish there was more communication between parent and therapist but in the end its about the kids and my son is blossoming. read more

I've been bringing my two year old for speech therapy twice a week for several months now. This is our second child receiving services with Kathleen and she has been wonderful! She is always kind and caring and both of my children looked forward to their sessions with her every week. I really enjoy the ability to watch my children's sessions via Skype/facetime on my cell phone while we are there. It allows me to see what is actually going on in the therapy room and reinforce what is being learned at home. Very pleasant office staff. Nice office--doesn't have a "clinical" feeling, very inviting and family oriented. They also offer OT services which is a plus for those children requiring those additional services. read more

Our son loves going to see Kathleen at Little Sprouts. Shari took so much time in evaluating him. From there, we have been seeing Kathleen once a week for the last 8 months. They had recommended twice a week, and I trust their judgement. We would be doing twice a week if it wasn't far from my work (1.5 hours). They do have evening sessions to help working parents, but because of the distance, it just wasn't practical for us. We are moving onto another place closer to home, but in a perfect world, we would be clients of Little Sprouts for years to come. A couple of other nice things about this place, is the ability to skype and watch and hear what is going on in your child's therapy appointments. They have a ton of great toys in the lobby that are geared towards language development, I have picked up a few for my own home. Oh and Amber (the office manager) is great.
