I called 75 minutes later to check the status of order and they said it should arrive any minute. 1 hour and 40 minutes after I ordered and hadn't gotten food, I called again. The associate was like "wow, I can't believe you didn't get it." That's it. No explanation, no help or apology or anything. She says, "okay," and that's it. Delivery shouldn't reflect the reviews because it is separate from the restaurant to my knowledge. But delivery was perfect timing today. Food came warm and in order. Nothing was missing and it came with adequate napkins and eating utensils. Good job on the details. The food was superb! Soups were delicious. The acai bowl was filling and good quality. Teriyaki was delicious amd healthy brow rice. I dont feel sluggish as when ordering from greasy asian take out. I also LOVE that their soups came in paper container and not the plastic crap that hot foods cause chemicals to get into the food (most restaurants use chemical crap.) This fulfilled my every desire of an açaí bowl! Close to my house, a good size serving, beautiful presentation, and a fair price. We tried the peanut butter and berry one. First time we came upon this place and the menu looks great. While we we wanted was an açaí bowl, we ended up ordering the eggplant parm sandwich. It tasted fresh with big size pieces of eggplant. We enjoyed our meal on the cute outside benches. And even though we showed up 20 minutes before closing, then owner was super nice and patient with our last minute ordering. This new spot in Upper Glendale Queens On 88th st, NTK is Amazing. The food is great the portions are nice size. The staff is friendly which is a nice change for living in NYC. Nick is a local business owner in the community and is expanding our community with this wonderful spot to sit, eat and read the paper or surf the web, lol. They have plenty of USB ports on there wall outlets to keep your devices charged...a nice touch in todays day of technology. Ambiance is nice I enjoy walking in and leaving knowing I was taken care of. Lastly they serve Smoothies and health drinks...the place just does it all healthy for you. All the healthy food without losing that taste....youR pallet will still get what it craves....thanks Nick for bringing Glendale NTK . NTK is such a great addition to the neighborhood. I have never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the vegetarian burrito. This is a healthy take on a burrito so it never leaves me feeling overly full. The greek salad is a must! I am extremely picky when it comes to chicken but do yourself a favor and get the grilled chicken in your salad. I have never experienced issues with delivery.
