This location wasn't busy even for a Saturday. My husband paid over $1000 and after they put new tires on, they could have wipe down the rims and tires. My husband said that isn't part of their job but I think it should be. The presentation of the new set of tires looked like they were used. read more

Horrible experience bought 4 tires on a Saturday drove home notice when I left the shop and got on the service road. the psi on the car updates and starts showing on my screen ..on my Tesla was saying lower air in the tire it was at like 29 and everything other one at 34 psi . I thought nothing of it maybe just needed more air and would just do it later as it's only a 8 min drive home and already wasted 3 hour for just tires and alignment. Didn't get an alignment due to them saying system was down for alignment.. didn't drive the car again untill Monday. mind you I have a weekend car I drive .. Monday morning car front driver side tire is flat so I put air in it and inspected the tire didn't see anything no nail or cut. Drove for 4 day and then flat again. Filled up again called about it and they said bring it in to have it checked out.. I said I will on Sunday since it Friday and don't have time to bring it in. Come Sunday I take the car in and they tell me they have to send me to another location due to not having the tools to lift my Tesla.. so I calmly agree and drive to another location. They take the wheel off the car and inspect it they find nothing wrong with it and say it might by a rim damaged they missed when putting on the tire. So they then tell me to go back to the other location to have them take the tire off the wheel and inspect the rim. So I go back and they somehow find the tool needed to lift the car. They take tire and wheel and say everything looks good on the rim. So you would think they would just replace the tire as a defective tire. Nope they state nothing can be done since they don't see nothing wrong. Even though the tire is losing air and getting flat .. horrible experience I would not recommend buying from this location.. front desk lady were nice and friendly just horrible how you buy new tires and expect them to last more then a day.. thanks ntb for the horrible experience .. read more

I've always counted on NTB for my tires and minor repairs at various locations, but the Arlington store really goes above and beyond with their customer service, especially Darius. Had a blow out on the Highway with my Tesla. To my luck this place was right down the road. I needed my tire changed quick and I didn't have my wallet either. It was a struggle to get it lifted due to my car being lowered but the mechanic never gave up and worked his magic to get her lifted and changed FREE OF CHARGE. 2 months ago My car was damaged due to the fault of your company.I ask you to bring this problem to your management in order to solve the problem, otherwise I will be forced to go to court for compensation and moral damages. I went to three other shops needing two new tires and a oil change but they were all 1-4 hour waits and i was in a RUSH. I was running late to a 8 hour trip to south Texas for a wedding and when i called Carlos said they could get me in right now! I get there and i ask how long the service would take for both services and they said an hour...i was going to have to just get my tires done because i was on a super crunch! They went to the back and asked their techs if they could do double up and do both my services at once in order to cut the wait time in half...Im all in! They treat females as dumb asses... Made the mistake of taking my Porsche on for 4 new tires and alignment. I drive away and the tire indicator was illuminated in the dashboard. The entire interior of my car smelled like cigarettes smoke the steering wheel was filthy. So. Drive back they told me "the tires have to get used to being new on the car, that amber light will go away"... total BS so the I had to YouTube the instructions on the reset. They did it and wiped the steering wheel. OH BUT THATS NOT ALL... When I drive to my office that Monday, my steering wheel has a slight vibrate. More than slight. Definitely something was different. My old worn tires handled better than these 4 new ones WITH alignment and $1400 I spent. UPDATE; I take it back today ... I swear they just told me "they only balance tires to 75 miles per hours" anyway I changed my review from 0 stars to 2 because they did rebalance... manager had an attitude.. but they fixed it. I set an appointment online yesterday at 4:50 PM for the NTB on interstate 20 in Arlington, Texas for today at 1pm. Today, I called to verify and confirm my appointment only to find that their online system had an error and was sending appointments to a store in Missouri. I wound up getting a hold of the NTP store in Arlington by phone and asked them if there was something I could do to still come in today and get my oil change and tire rotation for the price that I was quoted online for booking the appointment online. The person I spoke to on the phone said they had availability at the moment at to benign my car in and they would honor the deal booked online. Here's where things went down hill. When I arrived the store manager, Charles Braun, attended me. He started by trying to look me up in the system, to no avail. He told that they recently changed companies and systems and it was apparent that he was frustrated by the process as he had a guy over his shoulder the whole time walking him through the program. At one point he even said "I'm getting mad at this" so I knew he was mad. After 10 minutes of just trying to trouble shoot the system he decides that he's just going to run it all as a new order and treat me like a walk in. Issue now is he says he can't honor the price I was quoted online and the service would be $90 instead of the $70 I expected because they're technically a new company even though they're still branded as NTB and the pricing has now changed so they can honor the $20 off deal but it's going to be $20 off of a $110 service, not off of a $90 service. At this point I didn't realize Charlie was the manager so I asked to speak to the manager, to which he pulled the old classic "I am the manager" on me. Feeling like I didn't really have any recourse at this point I simply said "well if that the case you should know that this is shitty business, and I'm not happy". His reply was telling me that my options were to leave or he was going to call the cops on me if I didn't. I chose to leave, but I asked for the GM name and number, some guy named Trevor, before I left. Maybe I'm tripping over $20 but I'm thinking I could've gone to the dealership if I wanted to pay $90 and get dicked around like this. I called Trevor and spoke with him about how I was treated and how threatening to call the police on customers with valid grievances is highly inappropriate. I was assured he would be "addressing the situation with Charles" but I'm not too confident that it's going to do much or even take place, frankly. Trevor ultimately offered to have me come back and get my service done, to make things right, but I don't care if it's free at this point, that dude Charles Braun treated me so rudely I wouldn't ever go back. And if they can honor the deal now or even comp me now, why was Charles tripping on me and threading to call the cops over $20!? I don't care if he was having a bad day, or that he's mad at the corporate change over he's having to deal with, that is no way to treat a customer, disgruntled or not. I would never go back to this store, and I'm definitely not recommending NTB to anyone, ever. Horrible customer service. read more

I've been to other national tire and battery locations and I can say that this location is one of the best because of the staff and mechanics that work there. From my initial call they were very open and eager to help and offered an appointment as well as the ability to walk in without an appointment for an inspection of my suspension. My shocks,struts, and two front tires were replaced at a different location. The services provided were sub-par work at best. I continued to hear a noise from the front and was told there was a problem with a bearing, ball joint, or "something". After they replaced one side I continued hearing noises, feeling vibrations, and noticed that my front tires were wearing on the inside. I decided to change locations and took my vehicle to the I20/Matlock location. They were able to access that the wrong struts were installed, and no alignment was performed after the work was done which was causing my brand new tires to wear close to balding within three months. They replaced my front struts and tires which were still under warranty. They explained what happened and assured they addressed what was needed. I let Val and his team know that they have earned my business and that I would share this story with family and friends. I recommend this location to everybody, and when needed I will be returning here for work on my vehicles. read more

Came in to get a few simple things done, left with a broken window. I told the clowns here that my driver side window was messed up and not to touch it, but they did anyways. They left my car in the parking lot for hours with the window completely down, because they didn't feel like putting it back up. What a bunch of irresponsible jokers. This place is awesome!!! Great friendly service. I went to Firestone on south Cooper to get a tire replaced. Kept calling for two weeks for them to get a tire in. Once they got it I went in at 7 AM they said they didn't have tire and didn't know what I was talking about (that's the abbreviated story). I left and went to NTB, they don't open until 7:30 but at 7:15 told me to come on in! Had the tire in stock and had me on my way pretty quick. Never going anywhere but this NTB moving forward! I love great service. It is especially great when it happens doing something you don't like doing. I've called this place a few times for last minute repairs and the lady has always been super kind and accommodating to me. She always allows me to come right in and get service immediately. My last visit was for an oil change. I literally called 10 minutes before I arrived and they were able to help me out. The service was super quick as well. It's al little more expensive than some other shops but the customer service is what keeps me coming back. I absolutely love this location and the staff. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my oil changes! read more

I made an appointment 2 days ahead to bring in my vehicle for 4 tires balance and rotation at 287 Frontage Rd, Arlington, TX I drive up 10 mins early and then was informed it would be 2 hours which I did not have any issue since I was leaving out of town the next day and was going home to pack. I normally do this work myself. Turns out I should have done it myself based 4 hours later (they close at 6pm). I call them after 6pm and Brandy the same person that said it would be about 2 hours told me that my car has not even inside the shop and he needed more time. Your customer service is appalling. I cant believe you could not honor your commitments. I like to shop and support my local business but this will be the end of the line for NTB with me. Take your business elsewhere! I came in because I had two nails in one of my tires, upon review the worker expressed to me that one of my nails was too close to the edge to remove and that I would need a new tire. I just purchased all my tires from NTB two months ago, these were brand new tires. I didn't fully trust what the service worker was saying so I took my tire to a different tire shop, and they told me that the nail was superficial and that the other nail was causing my leak. Needless to say, I ended up paying 15$ as opposed to the 240$ price tag NTB had given me. I will not be returning to NTB for further auto issues or services. read more

Today I made an appointment to get my oil changed. Took my car in on time and when I get there the guy who check me in had the audacity to tell me my car needed synthetic oil and it was going to cost me double than I normally pay. I normally take my car to the dealership and they have been using conventional oil the entire time I have had my car. So no thanks NTB I will not and will never shop or use your services. read more

Went to get the right ones from this location.. They won't let you trade them or refund your money to you. Came to get air in my tires on a Sunday. I have an f250 and need 65psi. (Gas station air only goes up to 50psi) they weren't busy and I sat there with my family for 30 min and they just had people walking around and multiple bays open. I use them frequently for years and I've never had any serious problems from them. There may have been a few instances where I've walked in for service and they've told me they were booked so I needed an appt which sucks but that's the business. I always deal with polite guys and I'm treated with respect when I'm there. I've never needed (knocks on wood) any major work done to my vehicle other than maintenance and the costs have usually been low or to be expected. read more

Was encouraged by your staff to call next time due to online appointment are not really view hence not honored by NTB. I'm a female, young college student and they ripped me off. I came in asking for them to look At my car because it was over heating. All they did was change my battery which had nothing to do with the issue because when I left, I was still having the same problems. So the next day I went to pep boys instead and when they looked at my car, they found out that my head gasket was blown and was leaking into my cooling system and my radiator was cracked at the top and there's a knocking in my engine. NTB should have actually did their job like I asked. So I wasted $200 on a battery and examination on my A/c which had nothing to do with my issues. read more

I have had these folks put a set of tires put on both of my vehicles - my Camry a year ago and my ML 350 today. Both times, I have been very satisfied with their prices and their service. I've called around to compare prices, these folks aren't much cheaper than the competition, but they aren't more expensive either. I keep returning to NTB because they really know their tires; they have the best tires at fair prices and the sales people know what they're talking about. They didn't have the terminal in stock but said if I get one at the nearby auto-zone, they would install it free of charge. They're not out to rob people, they tell you it how it is. I took my truck in for 4 tires,oil change,and inspection.I dealt with the manager on the phone and quoted me a price on the phone for all three items.I booked an appointment with him the next morning at 8:30.I arrived at 8:05(early) and 3 1/2 hours later they finished with the four tires.The manager then came up to me and said I needed an oil change.I told him we you were supposed to do that anyway.The manager said then that would be an increase in the cost he quoted me on the phone just the day before.I was highly agitated since I waited 3 1/2 hours for 4 freaking tires to be installed that was in stock.I asked this idiot what had taken so long for such a simple procedure,did it take that long to get it inspected along with the tires? This is what gets me,he replied did you want it inspected it also?
