Terrible delivery service. 0 customer interest or desire to assist there customers.

I ordered an elliptical. NSD is the delivery company (not my choice). My elliptical was delivered to the warehouse last week. No communication from NSD. I have emailed and called every day to try and get my delivery scheduled and every day I am told that the local warehouse will call me that day. And then no one calls. Today I called again and was told that they had escalated my order and promised that someone would call and nothing. I have asked for the number to the local warehouse and I keep being told that they do not give this out as a "policy". So all I can do is keep emailing and calling the national location. It is ridiculous!! After reading all of the terrible reviews about NSD I am afraid I will never receive my order! I paid over $200 for the "white glove service" 10/29/18- Update- After posting this, I was contacted immediately by one of the supervisors for NSD and assured they would do everything they could to schedule asap. I was told my item would be delivered this morning. Of course, no one called and no one came. I called customer service and was told that my item was never scheduled for today but that the local terminal would contact me. So once again, I am just waiting for a call from the local terminal which never happens! read more

I had the worst purchase experience ever with the company I went through, and then they set up home delivery through NSD. I was told that this company would help move the furniture piece into the home but that's not the case. It was just one person. The box wouldn't fit through our door so my husband asked to take it out and get help carrying it upstairs. The delivery driver said he can't and that was it. My husband had to tackle moving a piece of furniture upstairs by himself since I'm 25 weeks pregnant and can't lift that weight. read more

They let me know they were coming the day before (email and text). I had left a message the day before and they called me back the following morning. They tried to work with my schedule the best of their abilities. Which was great because we had prior engagements right in the middle of the delivery time. So they let me know, if be their last delivery of the day. They called 10 minutes before they arrived and they were in and out and very polite. My husband said they, paid attention to their surrounds (we have a hanging fan and they made sure not to bump it; which we appreciated). read more

Each time HD contacts them about the pickup they promise to contact me to schedule a pickup within a day. Well that NEVER happens! I am updating this to 4 stars. After contacting Home Depot and having the contact the shipper the problem appeared to to have been solved. Not content with "may be" aspects of it, I have written this review and I got reply and an email almost immediately from Robert @NSD promising the quick delivery of the item. I further got a call from him this morning confirming that package is out for delivery. While I appreciate the follow ups and quick resolution, a truly 5 star business would strive to avoid the problem in the first place. Had I not been vigilant about the shipment and contacted customer service in time, they would have sent the package back to HomeDepot or lost it causing further delays. Likewise, saying you are unable to reach customer with a faulty timeline and without actually reaching them is also not a good practice, why call the customer unless item requires signature or proof of delivery, Amazon, USPS, UPS and FedEx all make do without it. Their customer service is top notch god awful. They were supposed to call in 2-3 business days to schedule pickup. A week goes by and I call. Day after day I call, am placed on hold, then dropped after 15-20 minutes. Told they will call back when I'm next in line, but do they call back? I think you can see where this is going. Oh, and don't try to email them either, all they will do is tell you to check your order through their website. Which is totally useless, there's nothing to track because you haven't even scheduled with me yet! It's like they're actively trying to piss you off and waste your time. Absolutely non-existent customer service. I can't even say bad, because there wasn't any. We had a high dollar order through HD, which was delivered by NSD. No idea why Home Depot still uses this company after thousands of negative reviews and BBB complaints. This time, it was our turn. Our order was left out in the rain for an "inside delivery" order, which was 72 boxes of expensive flooring. Not a single person from NSD ever contacted us about the delivery, when it would happen or what day it would happen. We attempted to contact them regarding the order many times through different channels, and there is never anybody available to speak to. We waited on call for 3 hours on one of these occasions with no response. No call backs. Nothing. Now $6,000 worth of flooring is ruined because we are out of town. Worst transportation company I have ever seen. There's not even a close second. Word of advice. Check what delivery company is going to be used before you place an order. If it's NSD, order from somewhere else. read more

I ordered a cellar door via Home Depot. NSD was the shipper. They called and said theywould have door deliverd the following day. then no show. FOllowing the weekend I called Home Depot and said, "hey the underside of my house was opened because NSD said they would have the door delivered." Home Depot said they couldnt get hold of NSD to confirm I could just pick the item up myself since they didnt want to make the delivery. NSD sub shipper also saud he couldnt make the delivery even though I know the UPS and Fedex guys on first name basis. NSD and Home Depot FAILLLLLLLL! read more

I hate to leave negative reviews, but Im afraid with NSD it is more than justified. I ordered a large vanity from Home Depot, and NSD has had the item for 24 days now. Their tracking history shows confusing and, frankly, impossible entries such as "customer cancellation". Their first attempt was delayed by weather, which I understand (though I was not notified). Their second attempt just says "delivery attempted", which I know to be untrue as I was home all day that day explicitly to receive it. That was a week ago. A chat with their customer service promised a follow-up call within 48 hours to reschedule, no such call was received. Further attempts to contact them via chat or phone have been fruitless, as they never respond or pick up. I try to be understanding--as my vacation home is in the mountains, it can sometimes be difficult to make deliveries (although, UPS/FedEx/RoadRunner have no such problems). But I have to draw the line with NSD. I strongly encourage you to shop elsewhere and find another freight carrier--any freight carrier. PS--this is actually my second experience with NSD. My first was delivering 30 boxes of vinyl flooring. Same problem--three attempts, never completed. The *only* reason I have my floors is because the driver texted and I had to DRIVE 90 MINUTES TO MEET HIM AT ANOTHER LOCATION. He wasn't going to drive to meet me. What does one pay delivery prices for with this company? Had I known the vanity would have been shipped with NSD I would have run screaming for the hills. read more

Terrible experience with NSD. Reading some of the other reviews it's abundantly clear that NSD has horrendous shipping/fulfillment practices and lackluster customer service. I ordered a piece of furniture that was to be delivered by NSD (not my choice). The Tracking History shows that my item arrived at the NSD Terminal which is less than 30 miles from my residence on 11/8. When the delivery date came and went I emailed NSD customer service...and of course, NO REPLY. Finally, I used the chat option and was able to reach a customer service rep who let me know the delivery had not yet been scheduled!?! My item was quite literally just sitting in their facility for 5 days without so much as an email or phone call from NSD. I can't help but feel if I hadn't contacted them the delivery would have never been scheduled and I would have never received my item (which 2-3 days later, and I still haven't received it). They 'confirmed' delivery for today between 4 and 8PM...let's see if they can manage to make it the measly 25 miles from their facility to my apartment without issue...FINGERS CROSSED read more

Terrible company to work with. About a month ago, I ordered an item from HomeDepot. The wrong item was delivered. The driver did not call prior to delivery, which was not as advised during the purchase. The driver then proceeded to force the package between my cars on the driveway and damaged the sides of both cars! When I scheduled a return via HomeDepot, I was advised that NSD would contact me to schedule pickup within five business days. This has not happened! I have tried multiple times to call NSD, and I am yet to actually speak to any one from NSD when I try to call them. All I get is an automated message. I even emailed extramile@hubgroup.com, but still nothing. No response whatsoever. Never work with this company! NEVER EVER!!! read more

Ordered through Amazon, was shipped/delivered by this company. We had this scheduled to be delivered jan. 20th but, they said they needed to reschedule because they don't service our area except for mondays.. so fine, we rescheduled. They told my husband that someone needed to be home for the delivery because they bring the product inside. I took time off work for this delivery since it was rescheduled on a day I worked.. so.. they text my husband minutes before arrival and when they showed up they just left it on the porch.. no knock.. no doorbell.. they just plopped this 150+lbs box on my porch and walked away. Honestly zero stars if that was an option. I received a text saying my package is ready for delivery and someone will reach out to me. So far no one has reached. Today I get a text saying they have been trying to reach me but I never received any calls. I have been on the phone for an hour with club music as a background and no one picked up. Before this call I sat for 30 mins before being disconnected. I have also emailed them many times. Is there anyone I can contact or works at this company. This is the worst I have ever seen. I was promised a delivery from 10am - 2pm on May 30th. I received texts and emails stating the delivery was on its way. It NEVER arrived!!! No emails or texts stating it was not going to be delivered. Finally i go to the website and for a week the same status was showing .....Out for delivery. I have tried multiple ways to contact someone to cancel the order. I have tried email, chat and phone calls. No response, no person to talk to. This is a nightmare!!!! read more

Absolute terrible experience. I took the day off as it was a signature required delivery. They didn't show. I am in new construction and anticipated issues, so I contacted Amazon with directions and verified they had my number. After the first failed delivery, I also attempted to contact NSD. Not once did they answer their support line. When requesting a call back, I received no call. I attempted probably a dozen times throughout this process. They eventually put it as undeliverable and cancelled my order without ever calling me or making any kind of attempt at communication. Will certainly make sure that I never use this company again and would recommend everyone avoid them at all costs. read more

I have been waiting for a treadmill for 3 months, my treadmill is being delivered by NSD and was supposed to be here today 2/19 between 12-3pm. Well I cleared my schedule so my delivery could take place. I got notification last night 2/18 that it was rescheduled for Monday. No explanation given, so now I have to reschedule my day and my plans to receive the treadmill on Monday that they claim they are delivering. I'm beginning to think this is fraudulent and I can make things a nightmare for them with lawyers. I have called and called. They claimed they called me today 2/19 well we live in a modern world and I think they forgot that we can see on our cell phones if we have missed calls. Scheduled a delivery date, missed it, and then rescheduled it, NO SHOW. 11 days later after I contacted Home Depot they(HD) were able to track down my shipment to find out it had been "LOST". NSD did not notify HD or me, we had to contact them. This also reflect bad on HD for choosing such a poor carrier, I for one will no longer order from Home Depot as long as NSD is being used, and have sent a letter to HD corporate expressing my opinions. read more

The were able to deliver it quickly for what I anticipated, however, they were an hour ahead of the scheduled timeframe and didn't call until they were out front. I was at work but luckily my sister was able to meet them at my house and they were willing to wait for her since they were early and I didn't receive a heads up. read more

I've been waiting a month now for my product to arrive at my house. Been at the last terminal for three weeks waiting for delivery. No calls, no attempts to set up a delivery date. Read all the reviews and emailed hubgroup about the delay. They were super quick at responding and ensuring the terminal will have the product delivered by the end of the week. A week later and we are still waiting for the product to arrive or receive one update. I've ordered numerous products since and refused to use NSD and surprise they have all arrived already. I ordered an item from home depot and it is being shipped through NSD. It was scheduled for delivery october 6th. Never showed. It was then scheduled for oct 11th. Never showed. I called about 30 times And you wait on hold for about 16 minutes for the answering machine to say someone will call you back. When they finally do, they seem to not know anything. They all seemed to have the same answer. The terminal is not answering. I even spoke to a supervisor there and she really didn't seem to care. I called home depot to cancel my order at this point and refund me. It is now schedule for 10/15 from 11-3 pm. Lets see if it actually shows up. But I will never place an order from home depot and have it come through NSD. Rather just pick it up in store. Horrible and unorganized service. This company should be shut down. Absolutely terrible customer service. I also emailed extramile and no one ever respond back to that either. I also chatted as well. Still nothing. I doubt the delivery scheduled for 10/15 will show. Home depot and amazon should stop using this company. Whoever is running this company should be shut down or do better. They were late and I had a tight schedule that day. I called to track down the driver and was on hold for 30 mins and no one could find them and was told the driver wasn't answering their phone. I was told I would get a call back from a supervisor with an update, I never did. I never got a call from the driver either to let me know they were on their way. They showed up and hour and a half late and delivered my item and there were no issues with that thankfully. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My Echelon fitness mirror was delivered a week after the purchase, with sporadic updates on the last couple of days. The item arrived crushed, pierced, and ripped. Mangled is more accurate. I'm in the process of trying to get a replacement and would consider a competitor's product if I had to use NSD again. For shame!! read more

This company's phone service is beyond poor as well as their customer service. NSD was to deliver two love seats that we ordered through Amazon . On the delivery date, they showed up with one and could not explain where the other one was. Amazon shipped us a replacement and when it arrived delivered by NSD it was severely damaged and had to be returned but NSD would not take it back so we contacted Amazon and they arranged a return and ordered a third love seat. The third loveseat was to be delivered 10/8 between 9;30 am and 12noon It never showed up. I spent well over two hours trying to reach someone but all I've gotten has been an automated voice that was of no help. At this point, we have no idea when and if an acceptable undamaged love seat will arrive.If left up to me I would never recommend this company for delivery. read more

Tracking shows the item arrived at the local NSD terminal on 9/8. Shows out for delivery on numerous dates but nothing came. We called three different times, we were told that it would be resolved and still nothing. The latest call was a representative telling us that they had assurance in writing from the supervisor at the local terminal that it would be delivered on 9/21 without fail. Guess what, FAIL! Two weeks this rug has been in their possession and they are unable to deliver and are flat out lying to all involved! Company was supposed to call to schedule convenient delivery date. They didn't, just scheduled it. Company was supposed to call when close so we could get to gate ahead of time. They didn't. First delivery demonstrated box torn partially in half with obvious damage to equipment. Footprints all over box. No one had inspected it obviously. Never should have wasted our time delivering it. We refused and waited another month to get replacement. Same scenario...no calls. Company was supposed to set up equipment. Had to tighten screws. Company caused small dent in entryway metal frame. Didn't bother reporting as I had had. my fill of this company. Company supposed to clean up and take away delivery material. NSD should be put out of business. I've never seen a so called "business," with such pathetic operating practices. They contact you by email, but tell you NOT to reply to their request because their email boxes "aren't monitored." They turn around and ask you to respond by email or phone to set up a time and date for your delivery or pickup. I have tried 8-10 times a day since September 1, 2022. You sit on hold for 15 minutes and an automated individual tells you the first available rep will call you back. This company lies and they have no intention of returning your call. You have the option to continue holding and then after holding the phone another 5 or so minutes, they decide for you that you can hold no longer and proceed to cut you off. Stunning and infuriating. NSD has changed their name and have apparently been getting away with these same practices for many years. I learned that reading reviews. NSD has a contract with Home Depot and if your order doesn't arrive, HD just refers you back to NSD. It's unbelievable. This is only a tiny portion of our complaint, because I could write all night about these crooks. Our issue now is with NSD picking up over $2000.00 worth of Husky garage cabinetry. When NSD delivered it, I was home all day. They promise a phone notification call prior to them arriving. Nothing but a lie. NO knock on door or ringing a doorbell. They dumped the cabinets in the driveway with it storming, and we had no idea they were out there. The eight boxes weighed over 600 pounds. They are sopping wet, it's still storming. I called HD and asked the manager if they could come and pick them up because it was supposed to rain all night. He said, "no, they could not," and would NOT give me the name of the delivery service. He said he thought they would be alright outside. OK??Four of the eight pieces were damaged when we were finally advised by the manager to go ahead and open them. I would rate this company at 0 stars!!! They lost my door and said that it was delivered. I have cameras and so do my neighbors. I think it would be pretty hard to not see a large front door. They are terrible to get ahold of. I have wasted hours trying to track down my shipment and they have nothing to say. I ordered 2 doors in April with Home Depot, I've yet to write a review for them...but my first delivery date was April 13, then, May 9th now they say i need to contact NSD to find out where it is, or Home Depot. Needless to say from the countless other reviewers how this story has been going. I've been trying to find out since April where my doors are since 1. one of the doors is wood and if it's raining I need to bring it inside (I have no porch or garage) and 2. I have to let my installer know. But most of all... it's been since April! No communication everything is automated or you get hung up on. Home Depot couldn't even get through to these guys!!! Stay away, I'm canceling my door order n getting my money back if it doesn't come soon and will never step foot in Home Depot again. read more
