Honestly, I am shocked at how much I enjoyed playing airsoft, as this is not something I would…read moretypically find appealing. The only reason I went is because a group of friends & I got a house for the weekend in Lancaster, and they wanted to play. If you're not used to playing, it can be a little intimidating when you arrive. Most of the other people there seem to play all the time. They are decked out in tactical gear, have their own airsoft guns, etc., but the staff and everyone else couldn't be more friendly. And once you get on the battlefield and shoot a few people and/or get shot, the nerves settle and it becomes really fun. I would absolutely go again if a situation arose where my friend group decided they wanted to play. But next time, I would probably opt to rent a gun that is a bit better than the standard gun they have for rent. The standard gun you rent has been heavily used, so it tends to misfire, dryfire, jam, etc. It became very frustrating. As well, the people that owned their own guns and equipment had a clear and significant advantage over those of us that did not, so just bear that in mind. 10 out of 10, would absolutely go again.

took my Nephew for a day of paintballing not knowing what to expect but we had a ball. We booked a private party at Tactical Airsoft Arena for a casual outing with 10 people. Most of us…read morewere first-timers and even two of our dads joined us. It was definitely an awesome experience. The field layout is one of the highlights. It's tight CQB but designed really well, with a central room and perimeter hallway that keeps both sides balanced. The areas between respawns add variety with different sightlines and angles, so every round feels a little different. IThe layout makes camping very difficult so it helped keep the pace high, which we all appreciated. The staff went above and beyond. Our ref was flexible with game modes and helped keep everything organized and moving so we got the most out of our 3-hour rental. He even rotated in some of his personal upgraded markers so we could try setups with optics and lights, which was a nice bonus. Safety was taken seriously with a full briefing (video + walkthrough) and strict FPS checks. My personal marker was shooting a bit hot, and the owner swapped the spring for free and let me keep both springs. This small gesture one example of many that speaks volumes to how they treat customers. The staging area shows some wear from heavy use, but that's expected in a high traffic facility and didn't impact the experience. They also have cameras setup in the field that stream to the staging area TVs. We did a 2v2 competition and we were able to spectate our friends going head-to-head. Definitely bring water because you'll get a workout, though they do have drinks and snacks available onsite. As a private party, they also allow you to bring food and coolers for drinks if you'd like. What stood out most was how accessible it was for all skill levels. We had several beginners, and it was great watching everyone get more comfortable and confident as the session went on. Booking private was 100% worth it. Being able to control your group makes a big difference. Overall, great value, great staff and a really fun environment. Would absolutely go back.

I've been returning here many times, and it's changed a bit from my last review, so I'll give an…read moreupdate. The staging area is slightly updated with more rentals and more spools for tables. Space for your gear is not an issue, my group of 4 fit comfortably on 2 spools even though there were several large parties there taking up a lot of space. The best thing about P3 is the safety. When you have games of 30 people running side by side with walk-ons all over, it can get insane. All the refs were professional and cared about the sport, listening to the players when they needed help and pausing games if need be. The most important rule is about masks past the staging area. A member of the opposing team took off their mask while we were switching sides and was booted form the park immediately. At P3, safety is the most important thing. It is the high safety standards and the knowledgeable staff that keeps me returning time after time. Not only is safety stressed, but the small details as well. A roaring campfire was THE BEST IDEA EVER. We played a game in the 20 degree weather for 5 hours and it was the campfire that gave us the constant strength to keep returning to the fields. Without the fire, I would have left within an hour due to the cold. Props to the person who thought of that. While I myself am not a young child, I have seen many young children coming here for parties and even walk-ons! I love seeing people get into the sport and the refs help them out significantly and give them tips. One ref even helped ease the stress of one child after seeing some intimidating walk-ons go to the field next to them. I had to chuckle when I heard the ref say he would personally shoot anyone who shot the kids. At the end of the game, the kids were bouncing up and down, covered in paint, and having a great time. No shooting from the ref happened and everyone stuck to their own field :P This was only my second walk-on game (excluding scenarios) and the players were awesome. I'm not talking about skill, but enthusiasm. Many players were new, and several others were obvious vets of the game. The higher skilled players never lit up the rentals, and the rental players followed the rules. Even as a relatively new-player (maybe 20 hours of playing under my belt), I could have a great time with players of no skill level or very advanced skill level. When my personal gun broke, the staff was very helpful and kind about attempting to fix it, and then gave me a rental. When my rental kept jamming (gotta love rentals), I was given a new rental, free of charge. Out of any of the paintball parks I've been to in Maryland, I go to P3 the most due to their safety, atmosphere, and staff. Can't wait to come back soon!

There were different courses and that was fun to experience. The young man that guided us in the field was very friendly. We played for about 2 hours and played about 8 games. We definitely felt like we got our money's worth. Next time, I would likely reserve a group so we would only play with each other. Playing with the other walk one was a cool experience but it was hard to figure out who was in our group and who wasn't. Also, when I played before we had the objective that our team had to get from one side to the other. Here it was to get as many people out as possible. I like the former.
