Replay Airsoft is a fun indoor arena to go to. The field itself is probably the biggest indoor…read morearena in Maryland with it having a second level on one end. They switch up the field so when I was there the field was more like a maze type of field and not like the open field you see in the YouTube videos. The field had a lot of kill holes so if someone was camping behind cover you could often shot through the gaps. This allowed the game to flow instead of being a stalemate with no one able to move up on either side like most indoor fields. So in the event a lot of people show up the game should run a little smother then other CQB fields. That being said don't be discouraged if there is only a hand full of players because it was about 12 when I went. In shooting games there are not people around every corner; so you gotta stay alert. I initially thought the more people the better but not really when it comes to indoor arenas. I had an amazing time due to the fact that I was free to move around with out any problem and still ran into the enemy often. Also because of the small number you know who your teammates are and no one was ever shoot by a friendly. We played a lot of different game types like trouble in terrorist town, TDM with one life, my favorite was capturing the ammo cans. It's an object based game type where you have to capture ammo cans scattered in the center of the field. The larger cans have to be carried by two people. Another fun game type was a game where it started as a free for all. If someone was shot they had to get down in an nonaggressive position and who ever tagged that person got a member added to there team. So you started by yourself and slowly built a large team. The round was over when everyone was on a single team. The teams are split up pretty evenly and are switched up often. They give you glow sticks to represent you team color. I tied my onto my molle others put it on the strap on their mask. One of the coolest things is the part where people not playing like parents can go up into the ref tower and watch the games. I will most definitely be going back.

There were different courses and that was fun to experience. The young man that guided us in the field was very friendly. We played for about 2 hours and played about 8 games. Playing with the other walk one was a cool experience but it was hard to figure out who was in our group and who wasn't. Also, when I played before we had the objective that our team had to get from one side to the other. Here it was to get as many people out as possible. I like the former.

One of the few private gun clubs in the anti-gun state of Maryland. Berwyn is a wonderful place to…read morego and practice marksmanship. They have a lot of members from all walks of life, from hunters to law enforcement, casual target shooters to dedicated competitors. Despite recent pressures from Maryland legislation, Berwyn's membership remains strong and may even be growing larger as one of the few venues people can use for their hobby or career. The range itself is set in the woods of rural Bowie. Admittedly, it looks more like a Boy Scouts camp than a major high-tech range, but that's part of its charm. They have three "no sky" ranges, meaning there are baffles set to block any stray bullets that do not head down the range. A 50 foot, a 50 yard, and a 100 yard allow people to use whatever they need for their chosen firearms. As an outdoor range, you can expect to deal with weather and climate as well as insect life. I always check the forecast before deciding to head out there. As a private range, this is not accessible to the general public. To gain access you must send an e-mail asking about membership. Within a month, you will know if you are approved to join (I've never known anyone to be turned down). After that, you have access to the range, but must remember to follow all range rules, including proper safety, avoiding damage to the range, and cleaning up after yourself. If you're into firearms, for anything from hunting to marksmanship, and looking for a good range in the Prince George's and Arundel area, then I recommend looking into this place. Go to their website and check them out!

She assured me over the phone that by the end of our hour long experience my dad, my brother and I would hit the bullseye, and she delivered. She gave us just enough information to not be overwhelming but still gave us enough to work on to get better. It was extremely worth the price for the amount of skill increase and fun I experienced, and she reshaped my view of archery entirely, from really negative, to really positive. 10/10 would 100% would go again.

I came to Paint Branch Golf Complex for a Father's Day outing with my husband and son. My son…read morerecently fell in love with golf and wanted to treat his father to a special day on the course. Unfortunately, what should have been a wonderful family memory was completely ruined by the behavior of one of their course marshals, older black gentlemen, he said his name was Mr. Smith. When we arrived, we were upfront and told Mr. Smith that we had only played on a golf course a few times. Instead of using that information to be helpful or patient, he used it as a reason to single us out and hover over our group for the entire round. We understood the pace of play expectations and made every effort to keep up, but the constant monitoring felt more like harassment than course management. When I accidentally drove onto the green, instead of calmly explaining the mistake, Mr. Smith became hostile and condescending. He spoke down to me and my son, refused to let me speak, and physically snatched the key out of our cart. There was no professionalism, no patience, and no basic human respect. We were paying customers on a family outing, not children being disciplined. We did not finish our round. We gathered our belongings and left. We drove up the road to the University of Maryland Golf Course, where we were greeted warmly and treated with complete professionalism by Director Jeff Maynor. That experience reminded us what a welcoming golf environment actually looks like, and it is a standard Paint Branch clearly needs to work toward. I am a federal employee at NASA Headquarters, and many of my colleagues frequent this course. I will be sharing this experience with them. I will also be reporting this matter to the Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. Golf should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, including families and newer players. The way we were treated does not reflect that value at all.
