Pev's is a great family outing for people of all ages. The staff is friendly and it's a fun way to do something different for a few hours. It's helpful that you can sign waivers in advance, which cuts down on check-in time - make sure everyone in your group does it! Even with that, checking in can be slow - seems to really depend on how many groups are arriving at once and staff available. We waited in line for 20 minutes yesterday until someone finally came to check us in (and then she gently scolded us for not arriving on time ). Groups are assigned a guide for the time you're there, which is a big help, especially if you've got a bunch of newbies. As ours, Connor, said good-naturedly, his role is essentially herding. Much better him than me! It really helped to keep us moving and taking advantage of our time there, as well as trouble-shooting when rules were unclear or equipment malfunctioned. My advice if you're going for the first time is try to have all of your group there at the designated check-in time and bring snacks! There's a snack bar, but it's nice to have water and nourishment while on the courses. Have fun!

Spacious, well-designed, multi-field battlegrounds for all-skill levels. Price: varies based on discounts/coupons/groupon, group pricing, private parties. Standard base for public walk on is $50 per day that includes rental equipment (gun, mask) and a bag of paintballs Fields: from urban to logs to inflatables to woods. There's a lot of space, a lot of fields and so a lot of opportunity for fun. The fields do appear to be maintained quite well. Nice meticulous layout. Equipment: rental tippmans were in decent condition. No complaints. Staff: super friendly and helpful

Aside from casually shooting in the backyard, this was my first time going paintballing at an actual establishment. My friends and I went there on a steamy Saturday morning. Pev's is pretty easy to find, and the parking is plentiful. When we arrived, it wasn't super crowded yet, but there was already a group playing in one of the fields. We signed our waivers, got our equipment, went through a 3-minute safety briefing and was on our way into the field to join the others. For a steamy hot Saturday, I wasn't expecting that many people to be out paintballing, but to my surprise, there was a pretty sizeable group. We started at maybe 60 people total, and by the time we left, the group was easily 80+ because we played 39 v. 42 at one point. In my opinion, the teams were way too large. Each game easily lasted 45 minutes with 15-minute rest/breaks in between. They have several fields and I think which field you play on is dependent on the size of the group and what type of game is played. I was disappointed that they didn't divide the large group into two smaller groups, but perhaps they were understaffed. After all, I only saw two guys running the game for this huge group. There were other fields for airsoft as well. In the 'dead zone' (the area where everyone met up before/after each game), there was a water cooler, which was nice, and some tables and benches to rest on. Here are my takeaways... Pros: Rentals are in pretty good condition, several fields, fields are well-maintained, plenty of parking, plenty of seating/picnic benches, good for groups Cons: Can get really crowded, seemingly unmanageably large groups, understaffed, grouchy/unenthusiastic staff
What a great experience and fun time for everyone! My 10-year old son attended a friend's birthday party and this was a first time paintballing for most of the participants. From the moment the party arrived to battle, the service was very helpful with the check-in process and distribution of equipment. The kids were eager to start and the courses did not disappoint. Overall, the 7 games were plentiful with lots of ammo, shooting, and fun! The kids are already talking about their next visit...battle! Enjoy! read more

Awesome! Everyone is super kind, and every time I go it's always a blast! From Paintball, Airsoft, and NERF, Pev's Fields are always fun to play on. The only thing I wish was better about the place is the grass, I'm a tick conscious person and I'm always scared of getting bit. With that said Ive never seen one from there, or heard about anyone finding one on themself, so they may have a way of keeping the ticks off the fields. Here are some things to remember before you play; One: Just standard paintball stuff. If you're squeamish about getting bruised, cut, or mildly hurt don't play. I saw another review bashing Pev's safety, it's paintball, people getting mag dumped at point blank happens everywhere. It's rare to get hit and bleed but it does happen. Pev's refs work around the clock and in my experience are very effective and helpful. Two: Hydration the day before is a must no matter what season you plan on playing. I personally bring a keg of water to stay topped off after each round. Three: Be friendly! Paintball, Nerf, or Airsoft, people are there to have fun. I've had plenty of fun conversations there with awesome people. From teammates, to that guy that headshot you last round treat them with respect, talk to people and have fun! read more

EDITED AGAIN TO ADD - More than 4 months later my son still has very visible evidence of Pev's inattention to safety and dangerous environment. They're lucky his injuries weren't more serious, but he will still perhaps have permanent scars from this. In my opinion, this is all because Pev's doesn't live up to their professed standards of safety. read more

Great Father/Son time. I know these places aren't crazy money makers, so my review is taking that into consideration. Took my 14 year old son and 5 of his friends to Pev's for his birthday. He and I had never been paint-balling before. Pros: Great courses. Lots of places to bound to and get cover. Overall, great experience. Staff was excellent and friendly. Safety brief was thorough. Referees were very involved and helped with equipment malfunctions. Provided face shield was great (Covered ears too) Not trying to make any assumptions, but it seemed every one there (all strangers to each other) were all on the same page, helping each other out, giving pointers, communicating, etc. Cons: Rental equipment was old and finicky. Hopper came off 4 times during matches. Balls weren't feeding properly. No on-site water source to fill your water bottle. $3 a bottle for small bottles (not cool). It's 2023...get a filtered water fountain bottle filler. Public Play courses were a bit of a hike from everything. (Tables, restrooms, air refill, etc) Safety zones could do with a sun sail/shade. Gets hot hustling around in long sleeve and pants in the sun. Will still 100% do it again. read more

Simply put it that it was my best experience in paintball. I got the gold tier for 500 shots that lasted 11 games. It was absolutely incredible and fun. The maps are well managed and planned. Best things about my experience is the instructor. He was extremely fun and professional. read more

Pev's is a wonderful way to have an exciting outdoor adventure. The staff holds safety in the highest regard. They have many fields to give paintballers a great variety and change of scenery from game to game. Once done the snack bar has a great menu. Love this park!!! read more

I did not enjoy my experience here. It was highly disorganized and the staff was rude. No one really gave us directions and we were waiting for almost an hour for someone to tell us to do once our gear was on. Another worker came over and was like "why aren't you guys going?" We ended up only getting to go two times due to this because they close at 4. Also the staff cursed towards customers who were still shooting balls. They were extremely unprofessional all around. Will go paint balling again...but not here. *Snack worker (Amber) was extremely prompt and sweet though! read more

My daughter had a 16th birthday party at the Pev's Paintball & Airsoft Park and she loved it as well as all her friends. They all really enjoyed and want to come back again. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but I would say, you really need to go and ask and they will guide you. Not wait until someone comes to you. read more

A major highlight of this paintball park other than the friendly staff and amenities is the veterans/law enforcement discounts which is amazing. Show them your veteran ID or LE creds and you will save half off of walk on game play. We have our own guns and equipment (which we bought there December 2020) and can play all day for 10 bucks a person. You also get discounts on their awesome on site pro-shop which is stocked pretty heavy with paintball and airsoft equipment, clothing and just about every accessory you will need to get started in the wonderful sport of paintball. The fact his park is veteran/LE friendly keeps me coming back and spending my money. The check in process is fairly easy and it's highly recommended that you do the waiver online. You do it once and each time you go back to the park you can re-submit the same waiver with a different date. GET THERE EARLY if you want to get the best out of the day as during the summer months the lines can be a bit daunting as this park is in high demand due to it's excellence (it is what it is). If you want the veterans discount you have to pay in person, we usually show up at about 915am to be the first few in line and on the fields by just after 10am. The fields could use some work however they do the job; this place has been here for ages and you can tell it's had some use. They have a good mix of closer quarters "peek a boom" and longer range courses that are more spread out. The dead zones are stocked with tables and they have a mobile air station which is very convenient. One drawback: You have to use their paint due to environmental concerns. Don't fret about this, their paint is reasonably priced and great quality and they are well stocked. Most paint you buy from big box stores is junk anyway and their prices pretty much match Amazon if not better for the paint and other items. There is a good mix of players that show up ranging from the noob cowboy's like me with their own gear, first timers, and the sweats with the electric full auto guns and full on HK Army gear. I've had nothing but great experiences with the more veteran paintball players who are regulars; very approachable and most are eager to chat and share knowledge. I will also note that the age range of the experienced players varies widely from teens to folks in their 60's which I think is really unique about the clientele at the park. Overall this place gets 6 stars from me. Because of their excellent customer service, awesome flow, great pro-shop employees and friendliness towards veterans I'm going to keep coming back again and again and hopefully learn something new each time I do. My hat is off to them, well done. read more

Our family has visited Pev's Paintball Park several times, most recently as a birthday treat for my son and his friends (and Dads). For the birthday we took advantage of one of the special play-for-free (with equipment rental) days and everyone had a great time! Pev's offers a wide range of facilities, playing fields and separate areas for beginners and more experienced players. They also offer airsoft and the softer impact variety of paintball (better for kids) in addition to regular paintball. All of the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about the equipment and courses, and helpful. Pev's is by far our favorite place for paintball or airsoft. If you like paintball or would just like to try it out, Pev's is the place you want to go! read more

I had a pretty good time at Pev's. It's definitely the fanciest paintball course I have ever been to. I'm used to hours-long battles on huge, wooded courses that involve lots of tactics and stealth. This is more like a speedball place. They run you through 15-minute rounds, so you never actually get to finish an elimination game. It felt like you barely got started before it's over, and the refs -- who are all high-school kids who were complaining from the start about how much they hate working there -- never actually told us who won at the end of each round (you can't really tell how many people the other team still had hiding behind cover on the other side of the map vs. your team numbers that were left when time runs out). They just herd you to the next round. Feels very hurried and routine instead of just letting people enjoy the competition. Overall, the courses are in great shape, the rental equipment works well, and the prices are reasonable, especially if you come with a large group. I would definitely come here again occasionally, but I do wish that they would change up how the matches work and how they are refereed. They do have true inflatable speedball courses, but even the larger obstacle-based courses just feel too confined and the matches too hurried. One other weird rule they have on the courses here that I've never heard of at any other course -- if you get hit on your weapon, you're out. That means even if paint just splatters on your barrel, they call you out. I've never played under that rule (heck some places require a body hit and limbs don't even count), and neither had any of the other experienced paintballers in my group. *shrug* read more

Poor service in the pro shop during advertised business hours. Very disappointing. Scheduled person running the shop reportedly left for the day, mid-day. Asked the field desk three times if someone could cover down, no one did. Drove 30 minutes to see their guns and gear. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. Pev's has a national reputation for being a great park, but I saw none of it today. read more

We celebrated my son's birthday party and brought a group of 14 players ages 10-22. Since most had never played paintball before we chose the low impact paintballs. Still as much fun as the regular size paintballs with a little less sting. Fred was our party ref and did a great job directing the group. Since our group was a little slow moving, we only fit in 5 games during the 2 hour party slot. Fred actually stuck around a little longer to let us get that 5th game in. Everyone had a great time. Great outdoor activity that everyone can be engaged in and a nice break from screen time! read more

Pev's has run an exceptional fun field for decades. It's conveniently located for VA suburbs that are west of DC. They have paintball fields for all skill levels and ages, a speedball field for competitive play/training, and airsoft fields as well. I've seen many birthday parties and group reservations having lots of fun at Pev's. They have competitive prices on admission and paint. Their pro shop has plenty of gear for folks looking to upgrade or buy replacement parts, as well as technicians able to fix your equipment problems. read more

We had used a Groupon bringing the cost of entry, rental equipment, and 500 paintballs per person down to $35 dollars per person and I'm really not sure about the comparative costs with other Paintball parks in the area I took my kids and a friend (all 13 years old) for a day of paintball and we did have a good time for the most part. The fields are well done with plenty of places to hide and a good variety of terrain. My problems however are with the staff. First there are breaks of up to 45 minutes between games that take at the most 15 minutes to play so basically you are getting one game per hour. The second and really the biggest problem was the attitude of the range staff ( the "shack" staff were great ), there were constant complaints about the heat - ok so it was in mid 90°'s, other members of the staff, and other customers. Some of those complaints devolved into arguments and some words containing only four letters were exchanged. For all their boasting that theirs is a "family park" they need to get that under control read more

I hosted my sons 11th birthday party here and we had such a great time! The staff was very attentive from the moment I contacted them regarding setting the party up. All of the rules, instructions and costs were upfront and everything was as promised. We had a large age range (8-50) and our host did an amazing job accommodating everyone. Our host helped fill all of the little kids tanks back up and kept everyone safe as we got to go between different fields. I HIGHLY recommend this as a family activity. None of the kids complained about not having a screen to be on, and none of the adults were worried about checking emails. read more
Here, I survived my first paintball outing. I went with a bunch of people who like me, had no idea what anything was, and one person who could easily be placed in the "expert" category They have a bunch of different fields and scenarios. The first game I played I was pretty much too scared to do anything, but by the end of the day, I had gotten shot in the back of the head and lived to tell about it. I learned a lot about paintball and can't wait to go back again. The ref's are pretty cool too. read more

~Filler aka don't really care if you read this part~ My friends and I try to get together once every couple months for some "epic adventures and reindeer games." The last few ideas came from my Groupon addiction and this was no exception. We bought the tickets online in January but we didn't redeem it till June (due to one of the members breaking their arm during a snowboarding adventure). Everyone had so much fun that the boy ended up making a paintball event for his class and I started investing in a lot of the gear (curse you Groupon!). ~The actual review~ The first time was a little disorienting, I didn't know where to go or what to do, but once I told the staff I was a newbie they pretty much laid everything out. With the Groupon or if you didn't reserve a private party, you are placed in with other "walk-ons" who range in skill. Don't be disheartened, it's still adrenaline pumping and fun even if skill sets and age groups are different. If the walk on groups get too large they usually split them up into two groups- rentals and advanced/ own equipment to make the play a little more even (I want to say this happens around noon. Also, if you have a mix of rentals and own in your group they will let you stick together). I've been to a paintball field in Hawaii and Pev's blows that place out of the water. It has 14 fields for different scenarios and games. They have: -town- urbanish setting for close quarterish games -logs- has large logs here an there for cover, requires lots of crawling- I guess it's to make up for not having a woodsball field -fort- a octagonal shapes fort on hill; i call it "fort from hell" because one of the games required one of the teams (which I was in) to attack the team in the fort from the middle/bottom from the hill -scrap yard- has large wooden spool things randomly placed, it was meh -rocks- oddly shaped artificial rocks placed on the field, sort of look like your in Bedrock (Flintstone) -they also had some speedball courses (inflatable bunker course) usually not used by walk ons and I heard them talk about barn yard but haven't seen it myself The "deadzone" (where you go after you get eliminated) for each field has water and paper cups if you need to rehydrate; if you want something with sugar and electrolytes there is a concession stand near the check in area. You can also bring a cooler for your troops if you want. The staff here are young but don't underestimate them- they do a great job. On the field the refs make sure safety guidelines are followed (googles and barrel covers on, etc), set up fun games, and makes fair calls. Only complaint about the park is no woodsball-but I guess from the management point of view it's more of a liability to have one ~Side notes- you may want to read this~ - If you have a Groupon or going on as a "walk on" and it's your first time tell the staff when your done picking up and getting your gear ready. They will give you a safety briefing and find out where the other walk-ons are playing. If you don't tell them they will assume it's not your first time. ~If you prefer hitting people you know then private parties are always an option. -I heard that if your have more than 10 people with Groupons playing you can call ahead and put down an extra $100 for a private game (don't quote me on it) -Wear something baggy/ loose like jeans and a sweater or long sleeve shirt that you don't mind getting dirty, and possibly layer them to dampen the hit. - Even though the paints don't stain wear something that you don't mind getting dirty or dark colors just in case. - Bring extra change of clothes, unless you don't mind giving your car a little color makeover. -Comfortable shoes are a must- maybe cleats, hiking, or running shoes. -Kendall A. mentioned that you have to use Pev's paintballs to play on their field, which is true but if you have your own gear your can buy any grade paint you want from any of THEIR other proshops (sometimes they have sales at the other locations- just make sure with the sales clerk which paints can be used with the rental/ field) and they start around $40 bucks. If you rent their guns its about $70 a case because they want you to use premium. -Active Duty Military, Police Department, and Fire Department personnel get discount, even at the other proshops. - Be nice--tip the refs they do a great job. -If you bring a large cooler- bring one with wheels; going from field to field a journey. read more

Can you say awesome awesome AWESOME!!! Drove to Pevs from MD. Not a bad drive if you catch 66 when it no traffic. Went on a Sunday morning which was Ladies Day and it was free rental!! Freakin Sweet!! My boyfriend already had his own gun so all he had to do was pay for paintballs. A box of 2000 was like 30 bucks. Pevs rented me the gun, face mask and the pods for free because it was ladies day. It was kinda of heavy seeing as this was my first time holding a paintball gun with an air tank attached. First time paintballing so I was scared as hell it was going to hurt. But surprisingly with 8 shirts and a vest and three pairs of pants, I was okay. Felt like a little rubberband sting when it did hit outside of the padded areas. So no be deal. There were folks with just shorts and short sleeves going hard. They had bruises but they kept going. We got to play on three different fields with different types of games. The one I like best was defend the flag. Sort of like a call of duty domination game. The fields are set up nicely with trailers, huts and all types of tree stumps to hide behind. Beware tho, them lil trees have bugs. It was a spider on my helmet and I damn near toss that helmet off. Granted he was small but my boyfriend squished him. The safe zones had seating and everyone was friendly. It was a great atmosphere. It was a mix of families with little kids, adults and teenagers. The timing for the games was a good amount as well. The refs were friendly and seems as thought they enjoy there jobs. The food was reasonable priced and its was edible. Nothing to write home to mom about but it will do. The pro shop was nice and clean and they got everything you can think of. There was this guy with a sleeve of tattoos on one arm (I can't remember his name) he was very friendly and knowledgeable about all things paintball. All and all, I had a great time and will return again. Great experience for a newbie. As a woman, you expect it to be grimy, for men only and not some place you would find a lady, but Pevs is clean, fun, and a friendly atmosphere for women and kids. Way to go Pevs!!! read more

I love Pev's it's a great place for airsoft but I would highly recommend DO NOT PLAY PAINTBALL people are very rude and will shoot you way affter your dead I played paintball at pevs for 1 year and switched to airsoft and I'm still feeling with them. You will be walking by and a paint baller will light you up there like stupid monkeys that see something move and just keep shooting till someone starts screaming at them. The amount of times I've been shot while not in the game is ridiculous the refs need to do something I'm getting tired of it. Even if your on a different map somehow a paintball will hit me and leave a big welt on me. When I first came to Pev's I was in the lunch zone there was speedballers right in front of the waiting area where everyone has there mask off they have these thin nets that do not work I got shot in the back on my head while I'm the safe area where everyone has there mask off. All I got was a cold bottle of water to put it on my head I had a massive bruise and bump on my head for 2 weeks after. I really do like Pev's but inbeteeen the refs not enforcing rules and there whole if a paintballer shoots you can shoot back is just stupid. read more

My first time paintballing was this past weekend! We went with a group of 12 and had a pretty good time! I would definitely recommend waiting for a Groupon/Living Social deal to come out to go though (admission for 4 for the price of 1). It's also really awesome that ladies were free when I went (not sure if it's just Sundays or other days as well). I think that without the deal, it probably wouldn't have been worth it as much. I thought the staff was relatively nice although they're mostly teenagers so sometimes snarky. There were just way too many people there. We played some games where there were 20 people on each side. The guns seemed to also shoot in somewhat of an arc, so it was kinda annoying that you really can't aim. There seemed to be a lot of areas for play that varied which was nice. I wasn't a fan of the woods terrain (which we ended up on twice), but it looked like the best ones were always taken up. I would probably go with a reservation next time so that we have our own ref and constant play time. read more
If your're a paintballer than you've probably already been here. This review is based on my trip which happens to be my first paintball experience. I'll be honest, I still don't fully understand this sport but it goes something like this. If you are renting equipment, you will go through 500 paintballs in 1/2 a day. The staff is good at funneling hordes of people through the the payment, check-in gear rental process. You are then funneled to the picnic table area where you wait until they give you the safety speech. After the safety speech they funnel you to the safety area, this is where you go when youre out in the game. Kudos to them for having free jugs of water and cups in the safety area, this was definitely needed. At this point we're in a pack of around 150 people which they divided into 2 teams for a game. This is definitely way too many people for a game!!! After that they split us up into multiple games. For people new to paintball, picture a junkyard except everything is made of wood or an inflated balloon, and you hide crouched down behind wooden objects, where you occasionally peek out and shoot like crazy in a direction where you think the opponent is, and then you crouch back down. There is also running between hiding places and getting shot at. It's difficult to tell who hit you, who you hit or who's winning but it's still fun. I was picturing something like laser tag where you run and shoot the whole time, this is more hide and shoot, and yes it bruises when you get hit. The place was kind of a zoo but thats too be expected with the number of people they have. I'm not sure that I love paintball and I would have realllyyyy liked it if we got more of say in which courses we could participate in. They have something like 10 different courses. read more

Went from DC to Pev's Paintball at 3pm and they were closed. The whole transportation took around 2 hrs, switching from the metro to buses and then to Uber. We called 3 times that day before we went and we were told that they close at 5:30. We also searched on google for their hours and they said the same. When we called Pev's Paintball when we got there, we were told that they closed at 3. We came from DC in 2 hrs for nothing! I canceled my groupon order, never going to come back. Wasted my day. read more

Specialties
Pev's Paintball Park is the ultimate outdoor recreation park in the Washington, DC area, less than 30 miles from the nation's capital in Aldie, VA. Paintball war games are a thrilling and exciting game of capture-the-flag where friends, family, and coworkers of all ages, male or female, can play a heart pounding game of paintball. Paintball is a mix of capture-the-flag and chess played between two teams. Each team attempts to capture the opposing team's flag, while avoiding being tagged with a "splat" of washable paint. Games are played on specially designed fields with natural terrain, man-man bunkers, barricades, obstacles, buildings, and compounds. We provide all the playing and safety equipment needed for a fun, exciting day of paintball or customers can bring their own personal paintball equipment. No minimum group needed to play. Bring your friends, bring your entire company, or simply come alone and mix in with players already there that are all in different skill levels.

When are you guys doing Airsoft? And if so is it like public or is it only for parties...
Yes, we do airsoft every Saturday and Sunday. Thank you and Happy 4th.
Is the park geared more towards paintball or airsoft?
Slightly more towards Paintball since we’ve been doing Paintball for 30 years but we’ve definitely increased our Airsoft since we have done that for the last seven years.

This place SUCKS !!! What a bunch of hacks!!! We came here with three people to play air soft everyone who works here has such a bad attitude!! So rude !! This place is a big money making scheme!! Went with three kids to play air soft and all three had their own equipment. Well everything we had was a problem and we had to rent a bunch of crap just to play after we already paid the fee to play for the day. So now we are into this place for 250 dollars and we haven't played a match yet. they mAde us rent a gun because one of the kids had a gun that the fps was to high( I totally get that) but they don't check your gun till you walk all the way to the playing field then they send you back to rent a gun.so when I went to rent the gun for 30 dollars it didn't even come with any bbs but u bet your ass they will sell you some....So Don't even waste your time coming here unless you want to spend a shitload of money and be treated like a piece of shit by everyone especially the little punks that are the referees what a bunch of tool bags I guess that's the appropriate attitude you have when your career is you work at an air soft/paintball business. This place is so ghetto the employees wear the companies t shirts and they have masking tape on the front and back with their names written on the tape with pen (wow high class shithole) I only put one star because the girl at the Check in was nice didn't know to much but nice eveyone else was a bunch of losers!!!! More toes than teeth at this place read more

Pev's is a great place to play paintball and airsoft!!! I play both and find that the shop, facilities, refs, and over all staff are AMAZING! I'm a " regular" customer that loves going back again and again! Safety: Safety most be pev's first word in their dictionary. Nothing comes between safety and pev's. Facilities: The maps are mostly made for paintball, but that's ok because it's a paintball park ;). The best part is that they're still building (I think)!!!! Overall the maps are great and I would love to see more maps for both airsoft and paintball. Refs: The refs are great and very knowledgeable! Yes, sometimes you might catch them on a bad day, but for the most part they're great! To pev's: I love to play at your facilities, but I'm sad to see that you've moved refs around. I think it was great to have refs with vast knowledge in their respective areas that helped first time players, intermediate players, and sometimes experts ( and carry on a conversation with them). So please please don't take our refs because if other players care about the refs as much as I know and see... there's a lot of people who'll miss them. In particular one ref was moved recently and I would love it if you moved him back. read more

just wanna say my husband, kids and I love coming to Pev's on the weekends together! Not only is it fun for us but our kids too when they come! The staff is great! For having such a young staff I think the refs are amazing! They are engaging and fun to have on the fields! I enjoy playing with new and experienced players it's a lot of fun! It's great for any level of experience. As a newer player I have learned so much playing with all ranges of experience! The more you play the more you learn, the better you get! I would love to give a huge shout out to Jovani he is one of best referees we have had! He talks to guest he is engaging, helpful if there is a problem on the field! If you are looking for a good family day I highly suggest this place! Yes paintball hurts, yes you will get messy with paint and yes you will get bruises it's the name of the game! But it's all in fun don't ever forget that! Just remember you paid to get shot and to shoot other people. I just want to also point out since there are some people who can't read it states you will be mixed in with mixed levels of experience. Also I would like to point out for $10 more you can have an upgraded rental and I highly recommend doing so! read more

I had my son's 10th Birthday Party here and it was an amazing experience. My son was so happy that teared up from his appreciation. All 11 of his friends that were with him now want their party here. The Pevs staff went above and beyond to provide such a great experience that my son will have memories he will always remember. I was unsure at first because the cost was a little more than i planned to pay for his birthday but the words from my son afterwards "you're the best mom ever" made it worth and i would have paid more to see him so happy. The staff treated my son like a VIP and he felt so cool in front of his friends. My son is already asking for his next party to be at Pevs. There wont be many birthdays left that my son will let me plan as he gets older but this party created such a great memory for me as a mother that i will always be glad i chose to have his party here. My only tip would be to not choose the package with the least amount of paintballs as these boys ran out quickly. Overall, fantastic place, awesome and friendly staff, but plan for your kids to get dirty. read more

This is the best airsoft and paintball park I have ever been to. I grew up playing paintball for about 20 years and switched over to airsoft about a year ago. The airsoft group is so down to earth, friendly, neighborly, and cool. It is a blast to play with them and talk to them when we are setting are gear up in between matches. If you love paintball definitely play here. If you love airsoft and want to hangout with the most chill airsofters known to man, while playing some of the most interesting game types like protect the vip, then you will have found your new airsoft home. I go every other week with a group of 7. I recommend if this becomes your hobby that you get the annual membership. It is worth every penny! :-) read more

Best paintball field in the DMV area hands down. I've been playing since I was 10 years old(1997) and have played Hogback Paintball, NR, SMP, VAG, Pevs @ AG and of course, the current Pevs. None of the other fields in the area offer the same experience that Pev's does. Pev's has a number of different "maps" that allow all players the opportunity to experience paintball from just about every scenario possible. Their speedball field is top notch and the turf is very well taken care of. Todd runs the pro shop and answers any/all questions you might have about the equipment they offer in such great detail so that anybody who may purchase equipment there knows exactly what they are getting and how to take care of it. read more

I've been playing at Pevs since I started playing the game. Fantastic experience any time I go. Their concessions are fairly priced and always open. They offer different packages and upgrades for walk on play. Various types of fields to play on such as xball, a town simulated field, fortress, logs. different types. Refs are friendly and always willing to help. The pro shop is always stocked with your paintball needs and they can help you with any issues that you may have with your marker or mask. Ill go to other fields because my friends want to try them out, but Pevs is always my go to. customer base is usually pretty friendly in my experience as well. If you want paintball, Pevs is the way to go! read more

PEVS is the place to play. Virginia has a lot of paintball/air soft fields, but PEVS in NOVA is a leader in how to run a field. PEVS offers a lot of options besides the conventional PB and AS. Their low impact options is great for kids, first timers, and groups. They store their products in a climate controlled pro shop. This may seem like a duh thing to do, but majority of fields lack the infrastructure to do this. This means the gear, paint, and pellets will always work and shoot straight. I have been playing paintball since 1994 and PEVS is the field to beat. The gear and the staff are excellent, and the prices are great. read more

I visited Pev's with a large military group. Pev's worked with us on every aspect of our visit, even accepting a cancellation late the day before (due to weather) and rescheduled us immediately. Pev's worked to make sure that we had a great time: from the ease of gear distribution to a generous pricing structure for our large group, to a dedicated cadre of referees who made everything happen easily. The fields are incredible, the prices are great, and the staff is excellent. We will certainly return. Only recommendation to Pev's is to have the CO2 tanks more readily available out in the field. Other than that, excellent work. read more

I've been playing at Pev's since they opened in 2008. They have a well stocked proshop, a large number of fields and a good number of refs. They also attract a large crowd on the weekends and it leads to great games. They do an excellent job of making sure private groups and rental players have an enjoyable time. Discounts are offered for Vets and Law Enforcement personnel and if you buy an VIP pass you can save a ton of money on registration and paint costs. Highly recommended! read more

Found this place in summer of 2017. My 10-year-old son was interested in paintball, and everyone at Pev's has been great. The pro shop takes the time to answer every question he has. The refs and other customers are great. And several of the customers take and post YouTube videos and they always take the time to talk to my son (Casey-props to you for all you do). Had his 10th birthday party here in November 2017. All in, a great operation that I'm happy to support. read more

We took my 11 year-old son and his friends to Pev's for a birthday party; everyone had a great time. The staff member we worked with was fun and engaging. He explained everything very thoroughly and made sure that the kids knew how all of the equipment worked and how to be safe without talking down to them. We did low-impact paintball since the kids are younger and they enjoyed the chance to do something a little more exciting than laser tag without TOO much pain! read more

Always a good time!!! The staff has been helpfull and professional every time we have went. Have played multiple times as a walk-on with my boys and have organized private parties as after season events for my baseball team. I'd say to those who mentioned in reviews that they're having problems with the staff... 'you are probably not following the park rules'. read more

Played my first games there in mid 90s, same long time ownership, great staff, what paintball is all about. Great field selection, ONLY place in the area to play true woodsball fields. Very thankful this field hasnt folded like VAG and AG. Wont find the cocky, unskilled "tournament" level 14-19 year olds that run rampant at other neighboring fields. read more

Pevs Paintball is the best paintball field in the DMV area. Guaranteed a good time for both new players and experienced players. Well organized, very friendly staff and well stocked with all sorts of good gear. They even have .50 cal (lower impact, doesn't hurt nearly as much as standard .68 cal paintballs) perfect for younger and first timers. read more

Dishonest. Took a marker in for repairs. After the $100+ repairs, the marker immediately malfunctioned again. Only at this point did the guy at the shop tell me that the marker was a "dinosauric" technology and it would continue to break. He should have told me that from the beginning. read more
