Do not go here. Been a faithful shopper since the store went in at this location and I will never go back. All their pricing is 5%-15% under retail in a damaged box with EXCLUSIONS everywhere. When they first started up in Layton they had good deals moved good amounts of products and had sales without EXCLUSIONS. Smart shopper could save money on quality products. Now every sale has EXCLUSIONS, All pricing is much higher than it used to be, They remove brands off the packaging to make it difficult to do any research. They have had sloppy management for at least a year. Some staff are great and others do their best to harass the customer. Don't need to use this platform to call out employees but if you go you know. A friend and I have easily spent tens of thousands at the Layton NPS since it opened and all that ends today.
Tools on sale, EXCLUDING if it uses power. Electronics on sale with EXCLUSIONS. Sporting goods on sale with EXCLUSIONS.
And the progression is even worse: Baby on sale EXCLUDING if it's diapers (2022), Baby on sale EXCLUDING if it is baby food (2023). Baby on sale EXCLUDING if it is furniture(2024). Baby on sale unless it is a carseat (2024). Baby on sale unless it is a stroller (2024)... So you can purchase Baby on sale if it is a burp cloth, teething ring or shopping cart cover.
What's next Groceries on sale EXCLUDING all that is edible?!
Reclassifying items, such as make a kitchen appliance not a kitchen item, is just one of their many ways of creating even more EXCLUSIONS
The last straw was their new policy end of the year 2023 (as I was just informed) NPS will not allow customers to get their money back (ever) for purchases made at NPS. You can get store credit for their beat up and tattered open box items at 5%-15% off without sale and surely with EXCLUSIONS, but Cash stays with them. Don't you dare ask for your money back if you are not satisfied with the broke box trash they sold you.
Also watch out for the As-Is the sneak in on the certain items for no reason.
Downhill for sure I will keep my business going to real retail stores that offer to return my money when not satisfied, who do not play EXCLUSION games and constantly change the rules of the game they have been playing for years. I tried to support local but local is not supporting me.
It is nice to know that, in these time when everyone is tight, NPS has found a more efficient way of making sure that they always win and their customers suffer. read more
