Overall treatments are hands down the best! My favorites Novolipo, Chin Buster and of course Laser Hair Removal. The most important thing to me are the results! Now as far as the Staff honestly these ladies are professionals, kind and attentive they just make you feel comfortable. Patricia always books my appointments and accommodates me every time! Also helps that she reminds me a day prior to my appointments. On my treatments I've had Mireya who is very sweet and informative on every step. Also there is Celine who is very fun and makes me feel comfortable. Of course Erica who goes above and beyond on every treatment! I thought this place when it first opened was a diamond in the rough. Great prices and good service. This was completely wrong! As they get more business their service went way down! The salon workers IF they speak English are rude and inconsiderate, they talk about you behind your back to your other friends who YOU recommended to the place! This is not the worst part, I find myself gr owning hair in places I never had hair before, I find hair growth to be thicker as the process goes on! The areas that it does work on are very splotchy-you still need to shave, etc. I would have to say that if you want an authentic full on Spanish experience-which makes you feel as if your procedure is being done in Mexico-Check this place out. If not, do your research! Some key points +Clean facility - No refunds - They charge if you miss an appt. - If you show up more than 10mins late (even though they booked you for 1hr+) you may not get in. -If you do not speak spanish there is another english translator in the room during the procedure(you never know what they are talking about) read more

I had my first appointment at novopelle last week and I am impressed by these girls. I expected to pay a lot more for all the body areas I am treating with laser. The technician who preformed my laser treatment was very professional and was extremely gentle. The facility was very clean and very relaxing. I researched laser hair removal for many months.I finally decided to purchased a Groupon for full face at Novopelle because I know they offer the Yag which is extra important for darker skin tones. I was not impressed with my initially consultation. Not enough to be scared and run though. The facilities are very nice and clean. I was lead back for a "consultation." The Novopelle employee spent most of the consultation trying to up sell and continue business with me. I think your work should speak for itself....During the consultation, they were very friendly and reviewed some of my medical history but did not explain the procedure.I had to ask the questions. I arrived 15 mins early for my first. appointment- I wasn't treated until about 25 mins after my real appointment. As I walked in I was quickly greeted by an employee. She asked if she could help me and what my name was. The employee cut me short with each response. I wasn't even able to get out my full name. The actual procedure was quick and pain free. The laser technician was much nicer. She even explains the procedure and the after care. I am very happy the results after one treatment. Five treatments later I'm addicted to laser hair removal. My dermatologists is even pleased. I will continue the laser hair removal process at Novopelle. read more

Clean - easy - cheap .... what more do you need. I was told about this through a colleague and have been going consistently for almost 6 months. I have recommended it to many people and everyone agrees it's a hidden gem. Only con is that it's not super convenient to where I live, but that's my problem. I can always make a stop for a little shopping at Galleria Mall :) Great deals each month and $25.00 discounts for referrals. I have nothing but great things to say about this Novopelle location. After purchasing a basic facial through Groupon I scheduled my appointment with ease. My navigation took me to somewhere on the opposite side of the tollway and I had to call them a few times to see exactly where I was supposed to be going and they were helpful and patient with me even when it was confirmed that I was going to be late. After arriving about 10 minutes late, I was kindly greeted, offered a drink and didn't feel rushed at all. After getting settled in the treatment room, I was engulfed in yummy smelling candles and a soundtrack that mimicked ocean waves. I was instantly relaxed! My facial wasn't basic at all! I truly felt like a great amount of time was spent on me and my skin felt absolutely amazing after we were finished. When checking out I scheduled my next appointment. I can't wait! read more

Although the actual treatment is amazing, the staff is the most unprofessional one you can find in Dallas. It seems that they already have a clientele, hence they are not a bit worried about maintaining a good customer service. They have charges my card once for a missed appointment, although I called and canceled it after the 24 hour deadline. Meanwhile each time I arrived for my appointment they made me wait at least 15 minutes. Most importantly, however, they sell you this packages with amazing deals but they do not keep good records and it becomes extremely difficult to prove what you have paid for and what service you have received. Lastly, they tell you that you cannot transfer to the other locations, which is not true. So don't mind the commute and go to the Lemmon location, you will save a lot of time and energy, which would otherwise be wasted at this location. read more

Gloria was awesome was was friendly and great at her job. ..unfortunately I don't think she works there anymore. Most everyone else seemed to have an attitude or could barely speak English. For the most part my hair growth has stopped... just a few random ones. I didn't get a chance to go to my last appointment because they charged me $40 for an appointment they say I missed. I have a terrible experience with this place that force me to change to the location in Dallas. People extremely rude and entitled, they will spend sessions with laser off and play dumb and offended. So after having done laser hair removal at another laser facility in the past and seeing no results, I decided to do my own thorough research to find a place that was affordable and actually gave me good results. I thought novopelle was a good option for me because I have type III to IV skin and their lasers were best for me. I made sure it was not the same laser I had tried previously. I went in for the free session on my underarms just to make sure. After about 1.5-2 wks after the session, I would put on my deoderant and noticed my hair dramatically falling out. This continued until the 3rd week post that first treatment and my hair is much, much sparser and thinner under my arms now. I figured if that was just after one session, I would be hair free in no time. Today I went in for a consultation to review my options and payment options. I ended up paying upfront for 12 months of treatment and I can do any area I want each month (or alternating months depending on the area). I usually would never agree to pay upfront for something like this but I saw results and decided it was worth it because other laser places charge much more, and they charge my area instead of by time. Other than that, the only suggestions I would give the facility is probably to treat the "customers" more like patients and discuss their options with them from a medical perspective rather than a business perspective. During the consultation and my free session, they did not ask for my skin type before hand, to make sure I shaved for the treatment (although they did tell me at the consult), and the person I had the consultation with was not a tech. I just think if someone is going to purchase a medical treatment, the consultation should be with the person actually doing the treatments. However, she was very nice and did not pressure me into buying the package. I thankfully already knew what I wanted and what was best for me because I did a lot of research on laser hair removal. I will update if anything changes. *************************************************** UPDATE *************************************************** It's now been 2 weeks post my first paid treatment. I got almost every area on my body done (face, back, legs, arms, underarms again) and I see results already!! This would be my second treatment for underarms (first one was free) and it's already shedding again like crazy. I barely have hair there anymore and its only been the second treatment. My legs and arms are growing in a lot slower so its hard to tell, but I do notice hairs falling out. But I would have to say the most impressive area is my FACE. I had pretty course black hair on my sideburn/jawline/chin area and I have had it done at a different laser place before. I actually had 6 sessions of laser previously and I barely saw results. After my FIRST treatment at novopelle, I saw results after about a week. I was really frustrated at first because after the laser treatment, my face broke out in this horrible acne and bumps. But I did some research online saying this was because of the dilation of the hair follicles from laser and dead hair trying to escape my skin. Sure enough, after patiently enduring a week of that, my acne has completely cleared up...and so has my hair! I'm wondering when it's going to come back lol. Only suggestion is I still don't know my laser tech's name. She's great though, whatever her name is.. Will update again after a couple more treatments. read more

The staff is really nice. I had 14 laser sessions all 4 weeks apart, I have light skin, dark hair, and I'm not a very hairy person (so the ideal candidate because the laser detects dark hair on light skin best). One month after I finished my 14th session, I still have hair on every part of my body they treated. It is more thin than before, but other than that, I look the same as I did before I spend thousands of dollars on laser at Novopelle. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. read more

Novopelle is an alright medspa - I most definitely don't think their services are up to par with their prices. They have a lot of equipment that isn't for everyone but they will not disclose that information. When I went in for my consultation, the girl who was helping me (Patricia) was more interested in talking about price than the actual procedure and what it entails. She started off with money and price and ended the conversation with money. She was claiming that she's giving me a deal if I book 6 sessions but really she was just multiplying the price of one session by 6 and telling me that price...(which is not a "good" deal). When I called her out she went back out and grabbed her calculator to prove me wrong (but realized she was wrong). That should have been a red flag but I decided to go ahead and do my treatments with them. I won't be coming back here, they all have attitudes and seem to be extremely nosey about their customers personal lives. read more

I've had a mixed experience at this business. My first session to get laser hair removal for my bikini and underarms went pretty good with the exception of not being told that the "bikini" area only includes the area around the top area and down in between the legs. I wasn't even given the option to get a full bikini when I made the appointment. And the top area is where I needed the touch up the most. So that was a waste of an appointment and money. The good part was that the laser they use is much better than the place I went before this. It has a cryospray on it as well, so they don't use the icey gel and they don't put marker all over you. And it made for a quick appointment. I then made an appointment for lower legs. My appointment was moved around several times for various reasons, which I remained patient with. Then finally was given an appointment date, which I had asked for the appointment details to be emailed to me. That never happened. I showed up at the day and time I was given and was told my appointment was the next day. And was told that if I would let them text me, this wouldn't have happened. I have told them over and over that I don't want them to text me and they still insist on texting me. They have my phone number and email to reach me. They don't need to text me. So after all that, I was irritated and asked them to cancel my appointment and give me a refund (I had already paid for the hair removal on my legs) and was still within the cancellation period. I was told that I may or may not get a refund, but that I would need to take it up with corporate. I asked if I could have the phone number to corporate and was told "NO". So how do I take it up with corporate then? The corporate number isn't listed anywhere online either. I still have no recourse on this matter, but I still hope to get a refund. read more

This is an update based on my experience over 6 sessions. I've seen both the good and the not so good. For example, I had to reschedule due to an out of town trip, and it was difficult to get a good time. On the other hand, I was running late due to a bad wreck on LBJ, and they were very accomodating when I was 5 mins late. Also, they always call with a reminder the day before. A word of warning. The first 2-3 laser treatments are low power, and don't hurt much (only a slight sting). The pain level goes up as the power is increased on the last 3. Yes, sessions 5 & 6 are NOT fun in sensitive areas. The real question - would I go back? Yes. In fact, I added a second area and am satisfied with the results after the first 3 sessions. And, I'd do more, but it adds up after awhile (even at Novopelle). read more

Novopelle is a girls dream come true! I purchased the Novopass for laser hair removal and after just one session I saw results, but after 6 months my skin is flawless!!! No shaving, no waxing, no worries. I wish would have found them sooner. The price is incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other laser hair removal competitors. I don't recommend coming here...there are much better med spas with nicer facilities, better equipment and customer service. I signed up last year for the "Fire Pass/Novo Pass" which was $1500 for 12 thirty minute sessions or I could also get a list of other services as well. I should have known it was too good to be true. I was going to another Med Spa that I loved for laser hair removal but they were pretty pricey and wanted $700 for just my legs. When I saw that I can do as many parts as I can fit in 30 minutes AND have 12 sessions for $1500, I was sold! Sadly, their laser machines didn't work on me.I'm tan (NW35) and have thick, dark hair so I should have been a good candidate but their machines never worked. I was seeing a drastic reduction in my hair follicles at the other facility and I know if I kept going there, I would be hairless. I know with my thick hair I would need more than 6 sessions, so I thought the 6 I had at the first place and the 12 here would be enough. Sadly, I fell for the deal at Novopelle and their machines never worked. The staff was apologetic and said it's not the same for everyone and even tried different laser machines and settings on me, but none of them worked. After I gave up on the laser machines here, when I realized I was torturing myself for no reason (super high settings), I still had 4 passes or so to use before I used up all 12 of them. I decided to see what else I can get in this package. When I purchased the novopass there was a whole list of things! Laser hair, b12 shots, body wraps, facials etc etc. By the end of it, all I can really do was either the laser or facial. If you sell someone a service, they buy it, then remove the service, isn't that fraud? I would call to setup an appointment for b12 and I was told they no longer offer that. When I asked about the body wrap too, I was told they no longer offer that either. WTF? A PROFESSIONAL med spa would have sent out an email to their customers letting them know of the changes in the package they purchased or letting them know some things will be ending in their deal soon or that b12 has been removed but BLANK has been added. They just kept removing things and didn't tell anyone until I asked. I might as well have gone to a trash can and thrown $1500 away. When I would call to see if someone could send me a list of the things they still offer, they would say "yeah, sure!" and I would receive no emails or phone calls back...that is IF they answered. The girls at this location are friendly and this review isn't an assessment on any of them individually, but I paid $1500 for laser hair removal and unfortunately, it was just a waste of my time. I wouldn't recommend my friends or family to come here and once my last pass is used up on this facial I don't really need (just trying to get my monies worth I suppose), I have no intention of returning to this place. read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Novopelle. Their attitude is very negligent. I purchased a treatment with the condition that I will only have Ericka as my technician, and in my recent appointment, they had another technician assisting me. No one call me to notify me the change. Many times businesses find themselves locked in an argument with a complaining customer. My advice is to step back, analyze where the customer is coming from, and form a solution from their standpoint, not yours. There was not a solution given to me. People pay for peace of mind, I wanted security, integrity, and the assurance that if there is a problem, it will be promptly handled, but it is not the case with Novopelle. They usually very confuse, never know if you paid off or not, what areas are they treating you, and at what level, they need to be more organize. read more

I just received a call from them saying that my account has a balance of 99$ from 2012!! Which I find absolutely ridiculous, not only did I pay at each office visit as I went through my treatment but I stopped going because it quickly turned into a bad customer experience every session. I'm livid! I cannot believe someone would wait this long to say that I have a remaining balance and if I don't pay they will send to collections? This is the worst place ever. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Technicians are not trained on there job functions therefore seeing no hair loss removal. I would persistently talk to the techs and managers about how I wouldn't see any hair loss and they continued with false promises. They constantly switch staff members and management and will not take liability for a past employers/technisions. Quick to put the blame on someone else instead of taking ownership as a company. I talk to management about a problem and what they told me was quote: "Sorry that person no longer work with us". If you want to go to a place that can really talk you into their services but yet not meet there expectation's is the place! I literally started coming to this place when they had just opened, the prices and service were great then. As they have gotten more and more business prices have increased considerably and SOME of the technicians want to get rid of you fast and not to take the time we need to get the job done right. If you inquire on this they want to make you look like you don't know anything about laser. I have done laser for about 5 years now and tried at least 4 different places, I also do research, nothing is more upsetting than people treating you like you are stupid... I woulnd't say they are Rude, I would say no very friendly, lets make clear is some of the ladies there not all of them; I think management do need to look into that.
