I am unwilling to travel to Cedar Park only to find out I might not have enough money to cover a visit. I guess his practice is based on the theory that if one must ask the price, then one cannot afford it. Very disappointed.

Since my teens, I have suffered from seasonal allergies. They've only gotten worse as I've gotten older. The last few years have been horrible. My "attacks" would put me in bed due to my violent symptoms--complete with with chills and uncontrollable, constant sneezing. My allergies were broadening--things I had never before been allergic to we're now bothering me. I was miserable. With children to care for, I realized I had to get help. I couldn't be spending one or two days in bed every month just from allergies. And so, after much research, I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with Noel. His 'bedside manner' professional and friendly. He values the family and understands the dynamics of having children in the office. He charges exactly what his website states. I've never once felt pressured into returning or like he was after my money. On the contrary, Noel always seems very sincere in his desire to know his patients and truly help them heal the root issues. My FIRST month I saw an 80% improvement in my allergies. (I believe my response was unusually fast.) Over the holidays I was shocked to be allergy free--especially when we visited family members with house pets. That was usually a huge trigger for me that would force me to lie on the couch the whole visit. After about 3 months, I get I was 95% healed of all my allergic symptoms! I've seen healing in other areas as well, things I hadn't expected or even addressed with him. I'd explain, but I'm already waxing long! Since then, I have taken all my children to Noel. With his help, I have seen UTI's heal in less than 24 hours, stubborn fevers disappear, and even toddler mood swings return to normal! My husband, I prior skeptic, is now ready to book his own appointment. He cannot ignore the 'miracles' he's consistently seen as a result of Noel's care. All said, if you're on the fence, go ahead and make an appointment. And be patient. Homeopathy is slow and gentle in its approach. But it's so powerful and incredible!

I was experiencing chronic pain (level 5-10) in my trapezius muscles, deltoids, levator scapulae,…read morescms, sub-occipital region, rotator cuffs, and not to mention having daily headaches and was referred to Dr. Cori by Wiseman Family Practice. I saw Dr. Cori for a handful of times, if that, and after being told that I "need to stop thinking of my body as a problem, something that needed to be fixed and focus on something else", I decided to stop going. First of all, What??! Are you kidding me? I agreed to pay you, Dr. Cori, $75.00 to help me get out of pain by "aligning" what needs to be aligned, so telling me to stop trying to fix my body as though I don't have anything wrong with it is unbelievably offensive. Then you had the unmitigated gall to state that I am the one perpetuating my own pain by holding on to negative emotions. Way to victimize your patients, Dr. Cori. You should know that anyone who is dealing with chronic pain is being emotionally beaten down every second of the day, so you telling someone that is actually quite abusive. On a side note, I thought it was very unprofessional of her to tell me to buy her friend's program, Mama Strong, because it would help me, or when she referred me to a retreat that I later Googled to find out she is the chiropractor for the retreat. All of these things really make me question if she understands the body, trigger points or even pain. She seems to think it is all generated from the mind. After leaving Dr.Cori's "expertise" and seeking help elsewhere, where I had x-rays, and scans done on my cervical spine, I was diagnosed with a fracture in my c-3, a bulging disc, facet joint syndrome, and arthritis. Apparently, these diagnoses cause pain, and for me extreme muscle spasms. Hmmm. I guess you were right, Dr. Cori. I was causing my own pain, and just needed to stop "holding on". Now that I have actually had proper medical care, my chronic pain is being effectively managed; what a relief. Full disclosure: I decided I should write this review as a way to release the negative emotions experienced under Dr. Cori's care, you know, as way to re-balance my Chi and "let go".

I had never tried this type of treatment. After one visit, I was hooked. I could not believe how much better I felt, and how thorough Dr. Cori was with her treatment. I started seeing Dr. Cori every few weeks and started seeing results! During my third trimester, lower back pain set in, and I continued to see Dr. Cori every few weeks. Again, my pain decreased. I plan on continuing to see her every few weeks until I deliver, at which point I still plan to see her regularly for adjustments. I have become a strong believer in chiropractic treatment, and Dr. Cori is excellent!

I wanted to wait until I saw an effect from my treatment before posting. It's been almost a month…read moresince I saw Dr. Akhter so I can now speak to my progress, as well as my experience with my first consultation... First, I have been dealing with chronic health issues for two decades and have been to countless specialists of conventional medicine as well other alternative medicine practitioners, never getting much relief and only seeing my symptoms multiply over the years. I found Dr. Akhter because he lives nearby...to be honest, because of my history, I didn't expect much. But I was desperate and don't currently have insurance. I liked that his website was very transparent about cost and that he's an MD that doesn't push pharmaceuticals. The best of both worlds. Both of my consults were telemedicine. Dr. Omar listens really well, is very caring, and answered all my questions. I know quite a bit about my condition, having lived with it so long, and I liked that he respected that. He seems very knowledgeable, but down to earth. Because I was traveling soon, and would be away for a while, he was also very flexible about how I could continue my care abroad. Lastly, but most importantly, I hadn't felt healthy in over 10 plus years, until now. With just a few supplements, Dr. Akhter has allowed me to resume my normal work life with hope and optimism. I have been singing his praises to anyone I know.

I began seeing Dr. Akhter after the recommendation of a friend and when I was looking for a new GP…read more I became ill with covid in March of 2020 and have cared for long covid since. It's been a whirlwind these past 3 1/2 years, as the long covid activated chronic mono, chronic fatigue syndrome, knocked out my thyroid, and has moved from one organ system to another. Dr. Akhter has helped me put the pieces together, using several different tools, and has helped me feel much better while navigating what has become a chronic condition. Whether or not that will be permanent, no one knows. One of the things I appreciate about his practice is the extra care. Because he's a functional medical doctor, his visits are 30 minutes long, with an initial hour appointment. In that first visit, e were able to go over all my labs from the past few years as well as give him a general overview of my health and concerns. And on follow up visits, he answers all my questions and spends time making sure I understand what's going on and our next steps. My medication philosophy is a good fit with his. I use a mixture of traditional and complementary/alternative medicine and am comfortable using supplements, nutrition, herbs, and medications. I prefer to limit the medications to what is absolutely necessary and to use as much as I need to help my body heal - while also not taking more than I need. He aligns with my approach. I've often seen an alternative medical doctor alongside a GP, which can be expensive. It's so helpful to have one doctor that honors both forms of care. Functional medical doctors, because of the extra care they offer, are typically much more expensive than typical doctors. Dr. Akhter's fees are very reasonable, and labs are billed at cost. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Akhter. I encourage you to give him a try!
