This place is definitely not for romantic dates. It's a big restaurant with big terrace. There were a lot of people on a Thursday after 8 pm. There was loud pop music so that it was very noisy. The service was bad, they did many mistakes. For example the waitress brought the main course to our little table when we still had the starters, they should take the starter dishes away first! I was going to wipe my soup plate with bread but the waitress just took the plate away without asking if I had finished. Nobody even said thanks and bye to us when we left even though waitresses walked right pass us. The starters, thai soup with shrimps and tomato soup with noodles were delicious but the main courses were a disappointment. Entrecote was almost uneatable and there were at least 7 different kind of raw vegetables. The risotto with mushrooms, asparagus and beef was tasteless and the portion was far too big. I don't recommend this restaurant, bad food, noisy place and bad service.

I wasn't happy with it but at least i tried it. I won't have it again

I would give 5 but i was not happy with the cheese cake. I had burger and it was great well done. The cheese cake was a bit dry and not tasty. The service was good and really quick.

Nova Resto Bar is a huge restaurant/bar, located in the heart of Kazimierz district, just next to Plac Nowy. The place is good for both: drinking and eating. Aside from a big part inside of the place there is also a nice seating area on a very long balcony. I like the interior design of the place and the fact that it's very spacious - something for poeple who don't like dark, claustrophobic venues that are very popular in this part of the city. The food is okay. Personally I recommend their salads. You will get o lot of healthy things on your plate and for sure enough to eat well and kill the hunger. The bad side about the place is it's price range - much higher than in most part of restaurants/bars in Kazimierz area.

Nova is a classic spot for lazy summer lunches which turn into dinners and cocktail nights that make you go back for breakfast the next morning. A viciously good circle if you like.... The menu is vibrant and the temporary seasonal menus even better in my opinion (when available of course). Cool semi retro interiors and a warm atmosphere. Heaters and lamps on the closed terrace during winter too. Worth a visit (or 7!) a week for sure!

It had been some years since I last ate at Nova. As far as I remembered, the food here was rather mediocre. They have apparently upgraded their kitchen since. The other day I ordered the grzanki z kazim serem (toasts with goat cheese) to go with a beer. The dish was far fancier than I expected. The photo doesn't quite do it justice. It looked super nice and tasted fantastic. I really liked how each piece of toast has a different favor. The 16 zł price tag was well worth it. It definitely gave me more confidence about the pricier items. Will need to come back here again.

It's not the airy tourists traps of the main square and the menu ain't an American coffee shop. We kinda just came for drinks and a app. I suggest making reservations as this place is busy!! Luckily we got seated pretty much after we got there as we had a reservation. They have some outdoor seating but lots inside. Cool, noisy vibe . This is one of the places your told to go when looking up bars and restaurants in Krakow. So maybe a but touristy too. Our group had a G&T, Prosecco , French 75 and a Negroni. All made well but did take awhile to come out. We also ordered some carbs ! Fries and their traditional mushroom Zapikanki, which translates to mushroom casserole. Even though it comes on bread! This is delicious ! Creamy buttery mushrooms with cheese and greens in top. Yum. Nice thick cut fries too. Glad we checked this place out. It was a little loud and the device a little slow. Definitely a happening place though !

The restaurant is super cute - very rustic inside and also has outdoor patio garden seating. My hotel doesn't include breakfast but i found this place mere minutes away that had a breakfast buffet on the menu (you can also order à la carte but I don't know why you would skip the buffet. You pay up front and it was 45 zloty which is such a good deal (like $12 USD) for what you get. The spread is amaaaaaaaazing! The variety is huge. They had cereals, different breads, pastries, charcuterie, veggies, spreads, hummus, yogurt, and hot food too like scrambled eggs, kielbasa, grilled veggies, zapiekanki, and bacon. And it was just so beautiful the way it was laid out. For drinks, they had coffee, tea (earl grey for me!), apple juice, orange juice, and water. There might've been a pitcher of a smoothie but wasn't 100% sure. Some things were labeled, but not everything. The tomatoes the label said was from their garden. I got a little bit of everything to try for the first round and it was so much fun. It was also super filling. My second go-around I got my favorites - the eggs, kielbasa, the cauliflower from the grilled veggies, the homemade bread, & this beet dish. I am in a heavy state of food coma right now but i'll be walking this off today in Old Town later. I loved this place so much that I'm seriously considering going back for breakfast again tomorrow!

When we visited around noon, there were only two parties ahead of us, so the wait wasn't bad at all. We ordered the daily special, a chicken cordon bleu served with potatoes and a side of vegetables that tasted a bit like coleslaw. We also tried two kinds of fried pierogi: spinach and feta, and pickled cabbage with white mushrooms. It was my first time trying pierogi, and I really enjoyed them. They reminded me of dumplings, but were served with sour cream on the side, which added a nice touch. Ordering was very straightforward. You simply place your order at the counter, and the staff will bring the food to your table. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous.

The restaurant itself is simple inside, but comfortable (other than the lack of A/C or fans in the summer. Given its proximity to the main square and solid selection of local food choices, it's no wonder they stay packed.
