They say they have been to my house a couple of times, but I get lots migraines and I'm usually in my bedroom trying to get rid of my migraines which is on the other side of the house. All they had to do is call me and I could've opened the door and let them in. I'm home all day. They said they would come on Friday February 14th and I waited all day for them, they didn't come and I had things to do!!! Pamela Green. 505.218.2970

The physical therapist is better than the nurse. He taught me exercises which was helpful. Then he left Ambercare and a lady replace him. She was okay for 2 weeks. Then she became rude and unprofessional. At the end of four visits, she told me that I could walk in my house. Therefore, she had to discharge me. I told her I could walk in my house one week after I was discharged from the hospital. I told her I couldn't walk outside my house safely without a walker. My goal is to be able to walk outside my house safely without a walker. She didn't care and she forced me to sign the discharge form. She also said that Ambercare have had too many patients to handle. Therefore, she had to discharge me.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this formal complaint regarding Hawley Home Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico, concerning ongoing concerns about patient care, licensing compliance, and medication administration involving my father, who is currently under their care. I believe the facility and/or staff may be operating outside the scope of their licensing and regulatory requirements. My concerns include, but are not limited to: Improper Medication Administration Medication may be administered by staff who are not properly licensed, trained, or authorized under New Mexico regulations. Medication procedures appear inconsistent, unsafe, or inadequately documented. There are concerns regarding medication timing, dosage accuracy, and supervision. Licensing and Scope of Practice Concerns Staff members may be performing duties beyond what is permitted under the facility's licensing classification. There appears to be inadequate medical oversight and insufficient qualified personnel available for resident care needs. Policies and procedures do not appear to meet required standards for resident safety and healthcare management. Resident Safety and Welfare Concerns My father's health and wellbeing may be at risk due to improper care practices. Communication with family members regarding medical care and treatment decisions has been inadequate. Concerns raised with staff have not been appropriately addressed or resolved.

I am an employee of BAYADA and I have to say, I've never worked anywhere like this before. At BAYADA they say that everything comes down to the Bayada Way which is based on 3 core values: Excellence, Reliability, and Compassion. What I've found since working with this organization is they really, truly, stand by it and walk the walk. They provide excellent training for all of their employees, and this training doesn't end when they start working. They provide continuing education for their home health aides, they offer in services and trainings frequently for their office staff as well. Bayada is always working to improve client experience, and regularly reach out to clients and find out what they can do better. One way they do this is by having clinical oversight by at least 2 Registered Nurses on staff overseeing the home health aids. The nurses visit clients once a month, every month. And the first assessment is totally free! Bayada nurses offer medication management and medication refills. No more filling mom and dads pill boxes yourself. Bayada also takes great care of their employees with competitive starting pay and a benefits package even for part time employees. That's why Bayada attracts the best caregivers. If you want the best for your loved ones, Bayada is the way to go.

They are and have always been there when we needed them. This is the second company we have used locally. Left the first one because of FREQUENT miscommunication. Bayada made the transition seamless. What a relief! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the position of needing Home Health Care services.

Under their brand of Decades Group they seriously overbilled my mom. Their promotional literature…read morelisted packages which suggested to me their billings were in the $200-$600 per month range, and that's why I approved signing my mom up with them. Instead, their billings ranged from $1800 - $4800 every two weeks - just for medical power of attorney work!. I would estimate their billings for a little over two years, mostly just for faxing medical records, at about $100,000-$150,000. My mom's trustee couldn't risk a lawsuit so these bills got paid. And since the paperwork nominated Decades for conservator it was pretty much impossible to fire them. So the nightmare continued until my mom moved into an assisted living facility - a move Decades opposed. My advice would be to not hire these guys. But if you do, put in writing how much they are authorized to bill and include a remedy if they exceed that amount. A criminal background check for staff and supervisors is probably a good idea too.

The assistance provided by all the staff at the Care Management Group has allowed him to remain in Albuquerque, in his home, as he wishes. The assistance supplied by the Care Management staff has ranged from initially assessing his needs, making home safety recommendations, regular check up visits, referrals to doctors & home healthcare aide providers. As he has aged, their assistance has increased to making and taking him to doctor appointments, helping with bill paying, coordinating the aide schedule and making sure that nothing falls through the cracks. In addition & most importantly they have met him at the the hospital the several times he was taken there due to health emergencies. They contacted us, coordinated with the doctors and stayed at his side until one of us ( the children) could to Albuquerque. Then upon his release they coordinated his return home & whatever services he needed. The entire staff goes beyond what is expected and their rates for their services are very fair and the same as the other similar agencies I interviewed. Without their help, our father would not have been able to age in place as he desired.
