    Horrible! I went to Tatum yesterday hoping for a trim to even out a prior cut that I had grown out. I agreed to a change and a "mid neck" cut. I told her my hair was curly and wavy and I wanted to keep it as much length as possible. She told me we would go slow so there were "no surprises." She ended up cutting the back first and then by the time she got to the front she cut the length in one quick cut. I sat in the chair in shock. She blow dried it straight, and it was barely at my chin. I left the appointment freaked out. Came home and looked into the mirror. It's is not even chin length. I showed her pictures of mid neck and we agreed mid neck. I called the salon and she already left for the day. She called me back this morning. I told her I was so confused about what it happened because we agreed on mid neck and now I have hair that's almost at my ears. She said there's no way that's possible and that she definitely cut my hair mid-neck. Nope. I told her it is definitely not even close to my neck it is chin length at best if it's flat ironed and it is not what I wanted, asked for, or agree to. She kept denying saying there's no way it's chin length and that she knows she cut it and neck. I asked for a refund and she said they do not issue a refund and that there's nothing they can do to help me. She told me to "just let it go, girl." So I paid $70 to have my hair butchered and they could care less. She messed up, and isn't admitting to it, and won't refund me. Obviously, there's no way to fix this as it's already several inches shorter than what I agreed to. If I could give the salon one star I would, especially regarding the customer service. Tatum is the manager and so there's no one above her that I can go to. I am very upset at how they treat their customers. Especially when I called with my concern immediately.

    This is a little gem in North Fort Worth. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Sadee really knows her color. Love to support local businesses? You have found a reason why to right here. Nicole also does a fabulous job with cut and color. Really you can't go wrong here.

    She says it's "so damaged" and that she won't highlight the roots of my hair with the blonde that's at the ends.

    I am so frustrated right now! I walked in for my appointment & was greeted and walked back to the chair. My stylist, Emma, took one look at me and said "ughh, it's been a minute huh?", while holding up my hair. Well, it has because of COVID and we recently moved down to Texas so my hairstylist of 10 years can no longer do my hair regularly (she lives in KC). She then starts picking at me hair and asking what I want. I said my PLAN is to go platinum eventually. She tells me it's going to be a process and there's no way I will walk out of here with my hair as blonde as I want it. I agreed with her, and said I just didn't want it to look orange or not match the bottom. She tells me that it probably will and proceeds to talk to me like I'm clueless and that hair has to go through stages and such. She also told me she would not color my top half the same blonde as what my ends look like. So my hair is just going to be mismatched?! The way she talked to me made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt that she was extremely rude. Emma tells me that she simply will not do the blonde color I'm looking for because it will kill my hair. Her specific words were, "your hair is very fine and already pretty damaged, and you like having hair right?". My hairstylist in KC has gotten me from extremely dark brown to platinum, and never talked to me in that way or given me a hairstyle that I hate. We talked back and forth for a bit about what to do and finally agreed on full highlights. She then asked if I wanted a cut & I looked at my ends and agreed that I needed a trim because I hadn't gotten one in almost a year. With a disgusting look on her face she grabs a piece of my hair and says, "yeah, you really need one". She goes to check the computer to see how much the total will be and comes back quoting $265!! I asked why it was so much because I had my hair done at that same salon before and never paid that much. She then tells me that she has been doing hair for almost 5 years, so she gives out "master stylist" prices. I told her that my hairstylist in KC has been doing hair for 20 and I have NEVER paid that much. The salon she works at is way nicer than NOVA too. And how does not even 5 years make you a master stylist?! Lol. I got up and walked out. It had absolutely nothing to do with the price, it was her entire attitude. Learn how to TALK TO PEOPLE. You are extremely rude and I will never ever come back here again.

    I love the experience everytime I go. Allisha is my stylist and she is awesome. From trims, to colors, to extreme hair cuts she has it all and she's personable too! I'll be back in 6 weeks

    I LOVE my hair!! Thank you so very much Bailey! It is just gorgeous. The whole experience at Nova was perfect, from the massaging hair wash, to the hot towel, then the perfect haircut and finally the beautiful bombshell blowout. I was looking for a new Salon and I have found it. Bailey you will definitely see me again.

    SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! I went in to get a full set of highlights and was given the worst service. My hairstylist mentioned the poor job my previous hair stylist did at blending my hair and said she would make sure to really "blend" my highlights so that I wouldn't have any harsh lines like before. Yet she left a terrible line across my hairline. I got a really ugly orange color in my hair (which was not a problem the first time I got my hair done), not even purple shampoo would help and the toner she applied on my hair did nothing. The hairstylist charged me for a balayage (which I did not receive) when I had specified that I wanted a full set of high lights. It was far more than what was on her page and because of the system being down I did not get a receipt. I contacted her about the cost and the poor job she did and all she said was that because of the 3 day redo policy I would have to come in within those three days. She was aware about my hectic work schedule and that I was flying out of the state that same week so I could not go in during those three days. I tried contacting her manager and the owner of the salon and after many attempts I was only able to get ahold of the manager which said that because of the 3 day redo policy the least they could do was apply a toner (which clearly didn't work the first time and wouldn't get rid of the harsh lines). The manager and the owner's least concern was that I paid lots of money to walk around with a straight line across my hair. I asked for a partial refund due to the poor cosmetic and management services that I received so that I could get my hair fixed else where and they refused. I regret not looking through these reviews before. The hairstylist told me that if I went in to get a haircut and paid for the cut, she would fix her mistakes and "not charge me for those services" without telling anybody about it (including her boss) which I thought was ridiculous considering I had already paid so much money. So many one star reviews, many unhappy customers, poor management, terrible business skills, bad employees, poor cosmetic services, and the owner still refuses to prioritize her clients and the seriousness of their terrible experiences!

    THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I went and spent $200 to basically get MY HAIR PULLED OUT and now I have 5 different colors in my hair and on top of that they left black spots in my blonde hair so now I look like a cheetah. This place has no idea what they are doing. And the owner will not reply to emails or do anything about it :) oh and almost forgot that they didn't even tell me what happend to that chunk of hair missing.. instead hid it . Oh and I posted a review recently about the issue and the owner sent me very ugly emails.

Because of this, it's best to schedule a haircut online with him -- you'll be able to find last-minute openings. John is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. He's there to give you a haircut, but he's also there to spread some knowledge. He showed me how he was cutting my hair and why he was doing it. His consultation was also very helpful, especially because I didn't know anything about hair and how to style it. I wanted to change the way my hair looked in both style and color, and John was there to give feedback and what he thought was in my best interest. I felt like he should have charged for his consultation because he spent a GOOD amount of time providing advice and feedback, time that's worth money, especially when I was his last client for the day and it was getting late. Because he didn't charge extra for consultation, I provided a good tip. What I wish beforehand, which isn't really John's fault, is how to enter the building. It was late, so the door was locked -- luckily, there was someone who let me in. If you ever encounter this situation, just text John and he'll come open the door for you! Overall, I believe I am a permanent client of John's. My husband loves my hair and believes that John did a really good job, especially for the price you're paying. I highly recommend John!

This is crazy, and what I was left with was nothing even remotely close to what I had asked for in the picture. Which once again, another factor of him refusing to give a yes or no. The only thing we were clear on in the end is that the cut and style were sub-par, and that I did NOT want to pay.
