Let me start off by saying, Din is amazing and you absolutely need to see her for any permanent…read moremakeup procedures. I had gotten my eyebrows microbladed ~4-5 years ago elsewhere, and while I was happy with what I had gotten at the time, after seeing Din, I appreciate how much more care she takes in what she does, and the level of customer service she provides. Getting permanent makeup done, especially your brows, is a BIG procedure, and actually, a bit of an emotional one! And thankfully, Din is there every step of the way. I started the process by booking my consultation with her, which we did via Zoom due to COVID. Although I was fairly familiar with the process, she still took the time to explain everything so I was prepared for the procedure, and to allow me to tell her what I personally wanted. From there, we booked my first session! I got a combo brow, and Din took into account the shape of my face and what I told her I liked. The procedure itself was not bad at all; Din numbed me (and continued to do so throughout the procedure). While it is a very similar feeling to getting a tattoo, Din has such a light hand and made sure I was OK throughout the entire procedure so I never felt any pain - moreso I felt the vibrations from the machine and the eventual soreness that comes with getting a tattoo procedure (if you've sat for a tattoo, you know this feeling). (Also, as we got this done during COVID, I must say - Din's office is *spotless* and she took every precaution to ensure that we were safe, and of course, that everything was sanitized for the procedure itself.) Afterwards, she walked me through what I needed to do through the healing process and what to expect - the itchiness, the peeling and how dark and light it would be at different stages (she also provides a cute info sheet!). You can see how my healing went in one of the pictures attached. What's great is that Din also includes a touch-up with the fee you pay, which is amazing and really speaks to how much Din cares about the final result. All in all, Din gave me back my confidence, and saved me a lot of time trying to fill my brows every day!

She has a way of calming your nerves and making you feel so comfortable with the whole process! I started with a Lip blush treatment with her after having had extremely pale/uneven toned lips for a long time. I had to wear lipstick daily. I LOVE my lips now. So much more defined/even toned and they're more pink. She walked me through the entire process, explained what she was doing and was so mindful of checking in with me the whole time. I can't wait for my touch up appointment! I was especially worried about my brows and how they would look. I really wanted something natural. We went with Powder brows. She picked the PERFECT color for my skin tone and the shape she did is incredible. Will let the picture speak for itself. Obsessed with them and I've been getting so many compliments! It has added symmetry to my face. Kristins attention to detail is soo helpful. Whatever you do ... never forget to treat yourself!…read more I did just that when I booked a Groupon for YY Beauty Spa. I got a 75 minute customized facial for less than $50!! The spa is located in a little storefront tucked away in Watchung right off of the highway and there's some parking in the back. As you walk in there's lots of products that you can purchase after your service and a little lounge area. Since I went during the middle of the day I was the only one there and was quickly taken back by one of the associates to get started. The space was clean and had nice ambiance music playing in the background. The facial was extremely relaxing as she exfoliated, used some light tool and did some extractions. My favorite part by far was the shoulder massage towards the end. It's crazy how quickly 75 minutes go by when you're in full relax mode. Can't wait for my next facial! I wish she could've done more extractions, but like I said it was my first time, I was nervous and I didn't say anything, so that's on me-- either way I was trusting her to know what was "enough" and still liked the results so can't complain! Mia was sweet and seemed to know what she is doing, and the receptionist (assuming the owner) was trying to sell me skin care products Mia recommended for my skin after the facial, which I really appreciated but unfortunately do not have the funds for, and thankfully wasn't pushy about purchasing the products once I said I couldn't afford it. Got this facial to treat myself for my college graduation! But hope to come back soon when I can afford it (maybe even try their massages!)
