Update: I really appreciate Kim reaching out to me and addressing my concern. Thank you for being a great business owner and listening to your client's feedback. Joanne was the one that did my eyelashes. She was very nice and did a pretty good job in a short amount of time. However there are several things that made this experience less than great. 1. I didn't see any makeup remover in the bathroom. So I told Joanne I still have eyeshadow on. She looked at my eyes and said as long as I don't have mascara it's okay. Later I saw they did have makeup remover in a different location. I wish she would've pointed it out to me since you're not suppose to get the lashes wet in 24 hours. Later at night I had to carefully remove my eyeshadow with a q tip. 2. They don't really offer you printed after care instructions. Also the spoolie given is not in a bag or anything which is a bit unhygienic. 3. This is the part that really bothered me. Kim said she'll honor the groupon price of $69. Later when I was ready to pay, Joanne told me she gave me mink lashes which is $20 extra because I have weak lashes. She never asked me if I would like the upgrade for more money. I really dislike this type of business practice. So if you're doing the groupon make sure you're just getting the regular lashes and they're not "upgrading" it to anything else. read more

Kim's Lashes is a very incompetent organization. They send out daily emails (reminders) and if you don't respond, they cancel your appointment. The salon associates, including the owner, are extremely unorganized.This is not a salon for busy women. I highly recommend that you find another salon, there several in the area that are much better organized. read more

The tech was pleasant and it was clean and relaxing. It was my first time getting lashes and she didn't explain much or show me different options. It said it would take 2 hours but it was just over an hour. The lashes she but on were longer but it was sparse. I should have said something at the time it I looked in a mirror laying down and it was hard to tell. When I was done, she asked me what I thought when I was about to leave and I did say they were a little sparse and she said well. Next time we could use a thicker style or something like that. She also gave me lash cleaner without discussing it or telling me it was extra. read more

I reviewed Kim's lash studio way too quickly after only going there twice. A mistake. I was just there for a lash lift. I scheduled a regular lift like I have gotten before. However, before we began the technician asked me if I wanted to try this new method of lift where they don't use glue and it's supposed to make your lashes more moisturized. I am always down to try something new so I agreed especially since it was supposed to last longer than the regular lift. I should have realized something was wrong when a second technician came over and was speaking with the lady doing my lashes and both of them were working on my lashes/touching my face. (I couldn't understand them because they were speaking in their native language which should have also alerted me to the fact that something was wrong. I felt they were trying to be secretive) 45 minutes into the treatment, someone tells me they are having issues with my lift because my lashes are "so thick" - please keep in mind I've never had this issue before. Additionally, my lashes can't possibly be thicker than the average persons lashes. Fast forward like 5 more minutes- and now my eyes are just straight up burning. She takes off all the tape and whatever else- cleans my eyes off and puts in eye drops. My eyes are now red and irritated. Moral of the story is do not suggest services to clients if you are unclear on the process. My lashes being "thick" should not be an issue lol and I shouldn't have had to sit there for 50 minutes only to go home with less curly lashes than I walked in there with. Additionally my eyes are so red and irritated. I will never be back. read more

Be prepared to be upsold the entire process. I find it extremely annoying that they don't take no for an answer. The lashes are okay but slightly asymmetrical. Very basic. highly overpriced. They do not give you what you ask for and charge extra. I even had to ask them to correct and I have never had to do that in any other lash place. Yet still my lashes are asymmetric. I expressed my dissatisfaction but all she did was put a 209$ charge in the machine. The most expensive and worst lash place I have ever been I would SERIOUSLY reconsider coming here and spending too much for very little. read more

I have gotten my lashes twice at Kim's Lash Studio. The first time around, I loved my lashes, but they fell out super quickly. I barely touched my face besides when washing my face (very gently) & putting in my contacts. I got my lashes redone a week and three days ago and they looked SO good. A couple days later, they started falling out like crazy. I didn't wash my face for 48 hours for the sole purpose of not getting my eye lashes wet. The majority of my lashes have fallen out on my right eye and a good portion on my left eye, it's been barley 8 days. I don't know if it's the glue y'all use or what, but for the price given and how quickly they fell out. I was just so disappointed. It's not okay for a set of 80 lashes to fall out THAT quickly. They were so many of lashes literally falling out 4 days after. After I didn't touch my eyelashes for 2 days. It doesn't make sense to me. read more

I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I am posting this to hopefully save some of you from what I went through. I was gifted a groupon for a lash lift and eyebrow tint and was so excited to get them done as I have been wanting to try those things out for awhile. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. While my lash lift is not bad, the woman who worked on me was very clearly left handed and because of that my eyelashes on my right eye are slanted to the side instead of straight up. As far as the eyebrow tint, I wish I had a picture to post here but I was in such a panic I didn't think to take one. I googled "how to remove eyebrow tint" as I walked out of the building and immediately went down the road to CVS to buy an oil based makeup remover pad to wipe it all off. My left and right eyebrows were horribly uneven, the tint did not start at the beginning of my eyebrow but back a few centimeters, and did not follow the shape of my actual eyebrow in the slightest. Overall, I am vey disappointed and definitely will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

Kim's lash studio is clean and quiet; great for relaxing during the service. I've gone twice so far for a full set and a refill and both experiences were nice and comfortable. My lashes looked great and the second fill was even better. The only thing I'd note is that when I was finished with my first visit it would have been great to get the after care instructions. She just told me to not wet them for the first 6-12 hours and this was after I asked. It was nothing a google search couldn't help but it would have been nice to get the information at the time of service. Other than that, I would recommend this place. read more
