Just visited for the first time yesterday and loved everything! It's a no frills, super easy going and comfortable atmosphere. Emiko and the other gentleman who I believe to be James (based on other reviews) were both very friendly and awesome! Their Gravity sake is sooo good, I bought one to take home. I also loved their Bluyuzu & 7 Red beer...looking forward to returning and trying (and taking home!) more of their beers and sakes very soon!! read more

First time here and I loved it. I ended up getting a sampler of all the beers, the peanut butter one was amazing...great place to bring a date or hang out with a few friends. Private parking lot and well lit, skip a random bar and come here instead! read more

I have been here a few times. Originally heard about it from Groupon. The ambiance is really nice! On the weekends, food trucks are out in the back I really enjoy their red blend and their stout beers. They are very friendly and give generous pours. The associates love sharing their knowledge about their products! The price is right too! $2.50-$3.00 for a taster (which is a decent amount) if you don't know what you'll like. And on the first Wednesday of the month, if you are a teacher it's a penny your first pour This winery also supports breast cancer research and battered women's shelters (they donate). Way to go REV! read more

Stopped in on our way home to check out this spot. Soo glad we did! Great tap selection and they even have wine! We ended up taking a growler of the Manganero IPA and a bottle of their Merlot :) We'll definitely be back! read more

First time visit for myself and a buddy. Every Sunday they offer different catering vendors and some of them are vegan. So we came for the Just Vegana, vegan Mexican food. Imagine taco truck style catering but meatless. We both had the vegan tacos which were vegan Al Pastor and Soy Chorizo. I'm looking forward to Just Vegana coming back and trying out new vegan caterers. It is only a beer and wine establishment for those curious. One of the bartenders was kind enough to allow us to bring in soft drinks for our food since we don't drink alcohol. Awesome to have a hidden, local gem that offers great vegan and vegetarian food! read more

We had a Groupon for this hard to find winery and went there on a Friday night - against the recommendations they had for us on the phone. At about 8 pm there were just a couple of people there. The tasting room is quite spacious, well organized and has plenty of seating. It is also very pleasant and has a great vibe. Their back wall is actually one huge door that they tend to keep open, so if you don't like drafts or being chilly, stay towards the middle of the room. The barrels for tables and chairs look cool, but we discovered real furniture was more comfortable. We were greeted and welcomed right away by Ivette and she was stellar the whole night - we really enjoyed her service and her company. The tasting gives you 4 flights, and then you get one for free if you check-in on Yelp. You can choose either all reds, all whites, or mix them up. They didn't have a huge variety of wines to start with, and were out of 2-3 choices, so the pickings were not that great, but their wine was pretty decent. A lot of people were actually getting their beers, which they also brew themselves. By 9 pm it got quite busy, and people were standing around waiting for seats to open, so do keep this in mind. Also, you are allowed to bring your own cheese plate or whatever other picnic of your choosing, as I don't believe they serve food there. So go ahead and pay them a visit! read more

Cool whole in the wall brewery. It is located in a office area. Get the Groupon, $23 for 4 tastings. Use a discount code to save more. You can switch the beer for the wine tasting also. Service was good and games were fun. XL JENGA!! It is very stuffy inside. Tastings come with 6 big pours. I wish I could give it a better score but all the beer in our tasters were warm! Warm glasses and warm tap.The IPAs all ended up tasting the same because it was just warm. Warning, most of the beers on tap are IPAs. read more

First and foremost, go check groupon!!! They have great deal for rev! Ok, now that that is out of the way let's get to the deets!! This place is a little hidden so keep your eyes peeled!! There are a bunch of businesses and Rev doesnt have a big grand sign screaming "Hey I'm over here!". Look for a black gate or maybe it's another dark color. I'm not too sure. It was dark and had already been drinking. Haha. There is a sign on that gate. Have your uber pull up by that gate. Yes, take an uber! Trust me. There is a number on that sign that you need to call and they will open the gate for you. I love that little speak easy vibe!! Go all the way down past a bunch of other businesses and it will be on your right hand side. Like I mentioned b4, get the groupon deal. Its 4 flights of wine, sangria or beer for only $25!!! And they are good size flights. You get chalk markers and write your flight. So cute!! Music was great! Service was even better. Our waitress was so cool. It's very casual and laid back. They also have games to play and food trucks to eat from. This little hidden spot is a must try!!! read more

Came here on a week day for some wine, beer and tacos. Service is outstanding. Definitely helpful if you don't know what you want to drink and they will give you a taste of things if you are still undecided. The atmosphere is very chill and it is a great place to bring a group and just hang out. The decor is kind of folksy, kind of rock and roll, kind of artsy and kind of wine-y! Ha! This particular time they had a really good taco truck outside, so tacos and beer were on point. The location is a bit strange, but it works. They are inside a kind of commercial/warehouse type lot, and it does have a gate that I've been told may be closed when you arrive, but if you buzz in, they will open the gate - so in a sense, a bit like a speakeasy. I will definitely come back for more as you don't find places like this all the time. read more

I'd never been to a winery and brewery all in one, that in itself was unique. Cute, eclectic, and cozy...they even have a few tv's so you can watch the game. They open at 12 They let you bring your own little picnic basket/food We got to taste 2 white wines and 6 red wines Wines were organic so no yucky chemicals in your body The wines were so delicious that we brought home 4 bottles and end up joining their wine club The owners and brewer was very nice and wonderful people They brew their own beers as well and got their beer flight Love the atmosphere We will definitely be back and recommend this place. read more

LOVE their mead beer! Slightly sweet and light! My husband, on the other hand, loved zangif (sp?). It was dark and thick for my taste but we switched so we were both happy with our tasting flights. Groupon had a tasting for 4 deal so we purchased it. Totally worth the $$. There isn't much room for large parties but if you don't mind standing, the beer is great. Lastly, you can write on the bathroom walls and they have a jumbo size jenga game pieces so that's always fun!!! read more

Super chill place. The least ambiance with the Covina breweries. Syrah nice finish. Okinawan kills. Plum wine I will buy for friends when I return to Hawaii. Doburoku kuro outside my box. Gravity sake "that's sake" "I could drink this" Nice lingering sweet taste. Oni Lager my best compliment- like a dos XX. The girl behind the counter is AWESOME. Knowledgeable and engaging. We like this place so much we be buying lots of s**t (excuse me). We gonna come back with the intent to make it a dinner party. We enjoyed it so much and the beer from the last two breweries, I forgot to take pictures. read more

A fun place to grab a beer or wine with friends or by yourself. Because really, the staff is friendly and welcoming and will gladly join in a conversation with you. Like many of the breweries and wineries in the area, this is tucked away in an industrial area. A bit tough to find, look for the little stand up sign on the sidewalk. If it's after 5 or 6pm the gate is closed. Don't fret, give them a call and they'll run out to let you in. It has plenty of seating and plenty of drinks to choose from. Sometimes they have food trucks (based off their instagram posts), but I've never been there when they do. I always bring in my own food. Dogs are allowed. Board games are available as well. read more

Visited this little gem last night with my boyfriend and I am more then happy we did. We had a groupon for $9 for two. This place is secretly hidden in a gated business community. There is a sign right out front that says "Rev Winery". Keep an eye out when searching for it. Call them to open the gate for you. Saturday night was packed with private parties and lot of local covina residents. Music was perfect for the "vibe" of the place. We got a flight of both wine and beer. Symphony was my favorite wine! I loved all the beers too! Since the place was so packed and we were standing most of the time, the owner Eddie came by and talked to us. Hooked us up with some food. Totally going to visit this place during the day! Can't wait to come back and bring all my friends from La Verne! Thanks Eddie and Veronica! read more

My fiancé and I went to REV Winery today and enjoyed ourselves so much we ended up staying there for about 3 hours just talking and tasting their beverages. This was our first time in a winery and we had a blast. The atmosphere in the winery is very inviting, everyone is extremely friendly, and they legitimately just want their customers to relax and enjoy the wine. My favorite wine was the Symphony and his favorite beer was the Saison. I would definitely recommend this winery to everyone! By the way, the city of Covina is having a wine walk on June 14th and REV will be there so I recommend visiting their booth that night to try out their stuff! read more

Pretty interesting place... It's hidden with A/c a fair amount of parking, limited seating(could be bad), and no wifi(yet) Had tried their stout, extremely delicious! I had their pineapple sour which was pretty tasteful but very sour at one point it hurt my throat. & now that I think of it I have a sore throat, this could have been the reason why. For a local craft brewery, Rev Brewing is neither brewing great, good, or decent beers. A friend and I tried the citra hops ale and a cider. Both were very underwhelming. The beers literally taste like mild beer-flavored water with bubbles. This might be okay when you're starting off as a homebrewer and accomplish your first brew, but this doesn't fly when you're a legitimate brewing company in a business park. Standards are much higher when you're serving the public at large. My homebrewer friends can brew far better than what's being served on tap here. There are lot of small craft breweries all around Southern California that are brewing some great stuff. Rev is playing Pop Warner while everyone else is competing in JV or Varsity. Different leagues of beer. Rev needs to visit the breweries in the South Bay and North Orange County to taste what those guys are brewing, take notes to learn, and re-calibrate their taste buds. Otherwise, Rev is just gonna remain a small, local brewery hiding behind the gates of this Covina business park. Anyone who's giving Rev 4 or 5 stars is not being truthful or has no clue to what the other microbreweries in our SoCal region are brewing since they've never visited. With so much craft beer flowing in the country today, I don't know how you can't distinguish between bad, good, and great beer. If you can't taste the difference, why bother drinking craft? -------------------------------------------------- QUICK TIPS: -------------------------------------------------- # Beers are very underwhelming. It tastes like bubbly water with mild beer flavors. This is novice brewing. # Easy to pass by so look for the small sign near the black gates. Rev is behind those business park gates. You have to call a posted number to be let in. read more

I decided to stop by today after years of meaning to, and I don't regret my choice. They had a nice Cabernet Sauvignon at a very reasonable price. The place has an interesting, Paper Street vibe due to it's location in a business park. I've always like little spots like this. Anyways, would recommend. Call for the gate code if it isn't open. read more

Hard to find. Must call posted phone number to have gates opened. But once you're in... YES!! Service is awesome!! The employees seem like they're having a good time. The beer and wine that they have available is always SO good!! The Lord Vadyr and Pineapple Sour are some great choices on tap. I cannot remember which wines I tried, but I enjoyed all of them. This place constantly has cool events going on, too. My friend and I visited for the first time because of Groupon. We ended up staying for a Halloween event and had an awesome time!! We went not too much later when they had an English Breakfast event. And we can't wait to go to their Cupcake and Wine Pairing event!! This has really become one of our favorite places. I do wish they sold food, too, but their events usually include some pretty good food vendors. So, it's not a huge deal. Plus, there's a diner just down the street if you decide you do get hungry. read more

My husband and I used to frequent this place when it was Rev. We thought we'd give Nova a try. We went once when it first opened and were extremely disappointed. However, we figured since it was new ownership we'd wait until the new owner made it their own. Today, months later we went again to support a local business in our community and it was worse than the first time. They have no people skills like the previous owner, their choice in music is between putting you to sleep and somewhat at times sounded demonic. Both workers who were there man/women were on their laptops the whole time. No interaction with us or anyone. They never checked on us and again no people skills. Definitely not going back. It's too bad it does not have that welcoming vibe. read more

The service was fine but I was disappointed in the beer. :( I got my flight and the beers were not cold and flat. The beers actually tasted kind of odd and made me feel pretty sick shortly after. Love to find breweries in the area so maybe I'll give them another try in the future and hopefully feel differently. Also my friend that I was with tried using the check-in feature on yelp that offered 25% off and the girl working clicked on it for him and it disappeared so she didn't validate it, which I thought sucked. read more

My father in law brought me here, I was a little worried about it because it was dark and we seemed to pull into an industrial type area, but my worries were laid to rest once we got inside. Very cool looking place with wine barrels as tables, the restrooms have chalkboards on them and they have various games including Jenga. I would definitely recommend coming here, I enjoyed a beer sampler and eventually bought a pint of the sour punch? I can't remember the name but it was a very sour pineapple beer that got better with each sip. The owner Edward came by and introduced himself to the group which I found to be amazing, his customer service skills are exactly what every owner should have. My only complaint is the food truck they had out back was a bad experience, I ended up trying some of the bacon/siracha beef jerky and it was great. Any who I will definitely be back for a second round soon enough keep up the great work! read more

Came here last night. If you haven't been, then you should. My friends and his dog were in the area (came from Lynwood) and we were trying to find a place where we can eat/drink and take his dog too. Cue in REV. There was a little confusion in finding the place, and once you get there, after a certain hour, the gate into the industrial strip is closed so you have to call the place and they'll let you in. It was 7:50 and we called about 8-10 times without answer. That was a little frustrating. We were about to leave and luckily a car from inside was leaving so we rushed in through the gate. Once inside they had a jazz/blues/blue grass type band playing. We had read on their IG Page that they were having bbq, unfortunately there were no signs of it anywhere (....we were hungry so that's why -1 star) The crowd seemed like regulars. The place itself is very welcoming and non-pretentious. Got a glass of wine and a beer. I got the Pinot Noir and my friend got the mango-salt something beer. My wine was really good and he wasn't a fan of his beer. But then again, he's not a drinker to begin with. An hour into our visit, the owner of the place comes out. Huge personality, in a good way, very engaging and friendly. He asked how we were, shook our hands and as a very wise humble business man introduced himself by name (irks me when owners of any place say, 'Im the owner here, nice to meet you' and don't get their name) what kind of dog we had and little small talk. Being all about 'service-makes-the-place', this set them in top of other similar establishments. Anyway, we stood there way past their closing hour and we were never told to leave or felt rushed. Finally we left and as I'm walking out the owner tells me Sunday's are reggae night and we should come back, and gives me a huge hug lol like a friend would when leaving their place. So, I guess we'll be back. If you're not the drinking type, give this place a shoot and at least come for the atmosphere(and food, if you come early haha). read more

You want to be here because the people that work here are all so nice. It's like you have just come home from a long trip and they greet you like they have sincerely missed you. Looking at the reviews for Rev it seems that is the consensus! High Five Rev! A Brewery and Winery all in one place. Look up the address before you come here so you have an idea of where you're going. This is in warehouse area like most breweries in the LA area. Once you get inside you will forget that you ever entered a warehouse business park. Nicely decorated with a relaxing quaint feel. If it's your first time try a tasting of the beers or the wines so you can get an idea of what you like. You can bring in your own food and I suggest doing that unless of course they have an event going on and it is catered. Football is almost over freeing up your Sunday. I have come to this place once before, during a paint night I got from Groupon, and I loved it here. The service was great and the beers were delicious. So I decided to come on Saturday night and bring my friend and his girlfriend, who were from out of town, and 4 others. My friend's girlfriend has Celiacs disease so this was the perfect place, she could enjoy wine while the rest of us could enjoy our beers. Although when we arrive, which was only 10:30pm , they had told us the taps were closed and were closing up. According to yelp, they close at midnight on Saturdays, so I asked what time they closed. The bartender said "around 10 or 11". So specific. We left pretty upset and took our business elsewhere. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called REV with the intention of purchasing beer from them and featuring their product for a community event I am helping plan. When the man answered he did not say his name. I asked to whom I was speaking with, and he rudely answered "Andrew." I said hello and introduced myself. He quickly CUT ME OFF and said "I don't have time to talk about real estate stuff. I'm on the clock and actually working right now so I don't have time to talk to you." I was immediately taken back by his lack of respect, nonexistent customer service and complete rudeness! I said "I too am working and was calling to purchase beer from REV, but never mind." Once he was made aware that I was a customer wanting to buy something and that I was not trying to sell him anything (not sure why he even thought that in the first place) he did not apologize, but instead just said "ok" and hung up. You'd think once he realized that he'd made a mistake he would have shown some type of remorse, but no. He he was so quick to dismiss me and not value my business. A key element to running a successful business is stellar customer service, and Andrew provided me with the complete opposite. Even if I had been calling to sell him something, I didn't deserve that type of treatment as if I was insignificant. A simple " I'm not interested, but thank you" would have been completely acceptable. Sadly this was my first experience with REV and I can assure you I will NEVER be visiting or recommending this establishment. My colleagues, friends and family will be hearing about this beyond disappointing experience. You know what they say about word of mouth.... read more
