Came here for brunch with eight other people. We were seated right away. The servers were friendly and accommodating considering we were a pretty big group. Ordered Last Brunch Sando with bacon and tater tots and pitchers of sangria (white and lychee). Everything came pretty quickly and in huge portions. The tots were super crispy (even when I reheated the next day, it was a lot for me to finish). The sangria was regular but still pretty good. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. Too bad they didn't have everything on the menu. Would want to try other dishes. read more

This place is brand new and really yummy. Service is very slow but I expect that to pick up once they get into a groove. We were a group of six with two children and they sat us in the back booth. It's a half round and a was perfect for our group size. It's rare for a group that big that everyone gets a comfy seat. During the summer they'll have a patio for some nice out door seating. The portions are pretty small for a typical restaurant portion. We felt like they were more at home meal sizes. Which was great and less waste! The waitress, was pleasant but a little slow as she was by herself handling a decent amount of tables. I don't think they expected it to be that busy. We got the apocalypse and my only complaint was the toast was too hard. It prolly sat under the heat lamp for too long. Which happens but it ended up cutting the roof of my mouth. Hah whoops. The tator tots were perfectly cooked and the egg salami jalapeño mash was DELICIOUS. Their in home hot sauce is a must try. read more

Fricking delicious. Their sausage poutine was the best I had during my entire trip and I ate way too damn much poutine in Montreal. Good beers and ciders and a cool, chill atmosphere. My poutine and drinks was $38 CAD with tip. Not cheap, but really good. Great for people-watching, too. read more

This is a review for a take out order -- and you guessed it; it was for a burger (as their logo is literally the outline of a hamburger and bun with toppings). I figured, I'd just go for the straight up classic (6 oz) job which had a pure beef taste. I won't say what fast food place it tasted like, but on a pure and simple burger 101 level, it's actually a compliment. What I thought was going to be the highlight, their secret sauce got absorbed into the brioche bun, but looked orangey pink, so is possibly some kind of mayo ketchup blend...they don't call it secret. The bun was quite good and probably absorbed the sauce while waiting to be eaten (in person dining, most likely gets more flowing sauce). In no particular order; the pickles had good flavor and were on the vinegary side, the lettuce crisp, the tomato not memorable either way and the white onion was fresh and cut the right thickness for a topping. The fries were moist and dark, the way I like them. At 13+t it's about right for the quality, size and value -- not to thick, not too thin -- a good go-to, standard, straight up, burger night burger. REALLY enjoyed my burger here, I had the burger of the day (hero of the day) and it was fantastic! I got it with a side of fries and a Cesar drink. The service was great and my friends and I were seated very quickly on the patio, started off with waters and ordered food shortly after. The menu even offers a "secret menu" QR code that you can scan with your phone which is a really cool feature. Atmosphere: 8/10 Good music and very relaxing comfortable patio chairs. Cleanliness: 7/10 Overall everything at our table was clean but while heading to the washroom inside the floor was messy and the washrooms weren't clean. Food: 7.5/10 it was really good food, you k kw you have a great burger when the first thing you can taste is the meat in between the buns. The fries were "flash fried", warm and didn't taste crisp at all. The portion was also small and could have been more generous for a meal that cost $18 before tax. Drinks: 10/10 My Cesar (Bloody Mary) was made really well and next to my burger was the highlight of my meal. The bartender did a great job and didn't skimp out. Overall: 8/10 I had a great time and will definitely come back again, the price of everything is kinda over the top for the quantity of food you get should be adjusted. We've already been to the St-Laurent location but never to that one yet, and as expected we were not disappointed! Still the same mouth watering burgers, only this time we discovered the "Secret menu" and oh my, their cod Siracha burger was so good! My husband took the classic notre bœuf de grave burger and enjoyed it very much as well. The place is not as big as St Laurent but it still very cute and cozy. Everything was going fine and dandy when I ordered the first 2 things, a meal and an alcoholic drink. I was hoping I'd have normal waiters at this place as I've noticed an uptick in awful waiters in Montreal over the last few years. Sadly though, when I eventually asked for something else (it might have been hot sauce and water with ice), I got the nowadays bad waiter typical French snuck into the conversation despite knowing I speak English, and despite knowing to speak perfect English (albeit with an accent) if needed. I wouldn't mind getting replied to in French if I spoke in French (I do know French). But, given that I'm the customer, and I spoke in English, I would expect to be replied to in English. I wouldn't mind it if it was a sincere mistake. Good waiters elsewhere make those sincere mistakes and switch their language immediately, but not those waiters. I had to correct them myself. However, when I corrected the first one, the second one came and made the same exact mistake. I can tell BS from a 100 miles away. That wasn't a coincidence. That was intentional. They are discriminating against me because I speak American English and they didn't like my vibe or something. Anyways, the manager came and tried to check how I was doing because he sensed something wrong. But, see I've had this happen to me a few times recently at a few other places in Montreal, and the manager was in on it. So, I talked to the manager as if nothing was wrong. But of course, BS service gets ZERO tip. I've lived in Montreal for decades and this never happened to me by normal waiters, ever. There is an uptick in this activity just lately. Until the BS discrimination treatment is gone, the waiters will continue to get ZERO tip. And, the good ones who do remember which language I speak in and how to converse with me in it will continue to get ALL the tip. Anyways, the food quality is besides the point of the review as even if it was perfect, it would feel like shit with shitty treatment by waiters who seem to discriminate against Anglophones. read more

Nice people but bad food. I had stomach trouble for two days from the under-done hamburger. Usually my system can take pretty much anything. Also, why is their bread so bad given that they are next to an excellent bakery? Unimpressed. That was my first and last time ordering here. There are much better burgers in the neighbourhood. f*cking delicious! From our phone call to see if they were open to the moment we left our waitress was extremely kind and friendly. It was natural which was nice to see at a restaurant. You can tell she likes her job. We sat outside which had a nice setup and umbrellas to cover from the hot weather. another bonus point was the waitress asked if we wanted an english menu which most restaurants dont. She was quick to refill the waters and even brought us extra napkins which is a plus for our. The prices are good and the portions are good for what you pay. The holy swiss burger was delicious and juicy. Every bite was great and the bun makes it not soggy or greasy at all. My wife had the siracha fish and chips and we got sweet potato fries which were to die for. The fish was lightly battered so you taste the fish in every bite. For once i finally had a burger that would make me come back. A huge menu to chose from , reasonable drink prices and extra side prices they dont rob your pocket here at all. Definitely will be back. Especially for a milk shake. they looked great. read more
