This is a small bakery that's full of charm and will satisfy any sweet tooth. This review is long overdue because I've been a patron of this location since opening week around 3 years ago. I first learned of Nothing Bundt Cakes several years ago while shopping in the area of their Galleria location. I was super excited when I found out that they were bringing one into this area. The location is in a strip along with a Chipotle, Radio Shack, and Firehouse Subs. They showcase all of their flavors in a glass cooler and they have samples daily. There is a list of flavors that they have daily and they feature some seasonal flavors (Pumpkin Spice in fall, Gingerbread during Christmas season, and etc...). My favorites are Pecan Praline, Lemon, and Marble. Super fresh and moist cakes with the best icing!! Customer service is also great as I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here. The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable if you have questions. Most of my visits have been on a walk-in basis but I've also called in an order for one of the bigger bundt cakes and the customer service was still great and my cake was ready at the specified time. While this is actually my first visit to Nothing Bundt Cakes, it's not my first time having them ... I first tasted their goodies at the Nutcracker Market prior to them opening the location here in Clear Lake. So I enter and the place is really well lit and clean. There are lots of goodies to choose from here, from the bundtinis, bundlets and actual bundt cakes ... there's a size that's sure to please everyone (even the most health conscious person such as myself). Oh my gosh! I can't even go in there! I want to buy one of everything! Actually you can buy a sample box that has several of the different flavors in small sizes. I would recommend that for your first time so you can try them out. It's hard to pick one out because they're all so good! I love the lemon ones but the chocolate chocolate chip are so good too!!! The other thing I like is the picks and cup cake holders you can buy to decorate the ones there or to take home for your own. They're always so cute! Stopped in for a gluten free chocolate chip bundt cake. I think it was called a bundtlette? Anyway, I believe it was $4.59 (no tax!!!) or something like that and I thought it was pretty small until I started eating it. The frosting is delicious, but it's super sweet. And there's a lot of it. The cake itself was also delicious. A lot of gluten free desserts can be dry and crumbly but this was not. I was impressed. I really enjoyed my little cake. I only gave it 4 stars because they only have one gluten free flavor, the chocolate chip. With all the different flavors they offer, you would think that they would have more gluten free options. But it's still nice to have a gluten free dessert option closer to home, even if there is only one flavor. read more

I tried these recently at a friends birthday party and was really impressed with the chocolate cake! Moist and delicious with chocolate chips inside. We also had a pecan, red velvet, and carrot that were just ok, but the chocolate was really nice. The turn-off: Gratuitous blobs of cream cheese frosting slathered on top, AND puddled in the center of each little bundt-middle. It was good frosting, but GEEZ those cakes are really sweet to begin with. . . I was told by the friend who ordered them that they don't have other types of frosting options to compliment the different cake flavors. If you love cream cheese frosting and lots of it, you will love these cakes. I would give them another shot, and ask if I can have the chocolate one without any frosting. . . mmmm. read more
