5 stars across the board everytime! My most recent 2 visits , I walked 3 miles from the auto shop working on my car to enjoy these delicious treats and coffee! They are that good and worth the walk!! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience today. I went around 5:50 pm and noticed there were no donuts in the display. The cashier said they could fry some, but the person in the back clearly wasn't happy about it. They told me it would take about 12 minutes, so we went ahead and placed our order. If you are reading this review thinking you might want a donut, you need to keep reading. Parlor serves doUGHnuts, which is not just a donut. Yes, I emphasized the UGH on purpose and that's a good thing. First of all, when I think of a donut, I think of Shipley's, which in my opinion, is the best glazed donut in the country (move over Krispy Kream). Parlor Doughnuts, on the other hand are a sweet treat worthy of a taste. Just get ready to have your tastebuds dance for joy as you bite into these delicacies. They have a wonderful variety of flavors. Many of them are combinations of flavors. For example, one of my personal favorites is the Maple Bacon (see photo). I mean, after all, what doesn't go well with bacon? Surely a donut gets promoted to doUGHnut status when you add bacon to it. The other doUGHnut in my photo is the Churro which adds a cinnamon sugar to this wonder. My wife's favorite is the Peanut Butter Cup which really doesn't need an explanation beyond the chocolate and peanut butter combo that it is. Whatever doughnut you choose, and yes, that could take a while to decide, I would suggest you only order one. Or, if you are with others, order one each, all different, and share. Let your tastebuds revel in the amazing flavors of these culinary delights. Added bonus - Parlor also serves coffee BUT the NASA location is located immediately next door to Summer Moon coffee, which in my opinion is the best coffee in Texas. First things first-- yes, these are an expensive treat. Probably shouldn't bring your kids here unless your kids are foodies like mine, and actually appreciate cronuts which are essentially what these are. At almost $4 a piece, I can understand why someone would treat these as a delicacy. If I was going to somebody's house, I would take a dozen or two as a housewarming gift. Not so much as a "pick up some donuts" on a long car ride (unless you like them a lot- which we do). When I was asked if I wanted a donut, I said no and just to get a couple for the kids, but I didn't realize it was one of these donuts! These are really nice. I did like the taste, and some were filled-- I wish I had a cup of tea when I got it because they would go perfect with tea or coffee. I didn't get any from here, so I can't say how theirs is. We got a couple of chocolate with sprinkles, a turtle cheesecake and one that had a maple taste to it. I will definitely stop in once I go to this side of town again because I want another one of these bad boys, and because the ambiance in the pictures looks great and something right up my alley. I thought I had already left a review for here. This experience was a disaster. I went to get a sugar free Keto donut for my diabetic friend because it was his birthday. The store had 2 people working and they were doing donuts "to-order" since it was close to the closing time (30 minutes away). Wow is what I can say!! I've been to this location about 2 times in the past 3 days. I had so many different flavors of Donuts. The service was second to none. I love that more places that you would find in the city is making it's way down south. Decor is on point, almost like a time piece. Plenty of seating options. These donut are on its own category and can't be compared to Shipley:s or Dunkin. I partaked in the raspberry pistachio and their most popular French toast. This place is beautiful and reminiscent of Financier patisserie and Patisseries in France. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee, the vanilla latter and the doughnuts we picked out! These aren't your Dunkin Donuts, or even Round Rock donuts a Central Texas must, these hit different. Eat your way through their Gluten Free options or the high selection of edgy, new and culturally relevant donuts like the Dubai Chocolate, Churro and Maple Bacon. We ate the Dubai Chocolate and after that I knew that any other chocolate would be insufficient. I loved the Maple bacon's earthiness and sweet combination as well as the perfectly balanced strawberry pistachio. I expected them to be super sweet but it was just perfect. This pastry shop (not doughnut shop, that would be an insult!) is a must stop in Houston. If you're staying at Clear Lake, skip Summer Moon and Starbucks, head next door to Parlour. Also, as an aside, this place from the restrooms to the front and the donut trays and enclosure were impeccably clean. I can't say enough about my visit there. The sweet service should not be missed they were pretty busy when we went so please be polite the two young women helping were beyond professionally welcoming. Around $10-12 is what one should expect to pay for 1-2 "doughnuts," and a coffee. The atmosphere is nothing special, it's simply a typical strip mall experience, inside is nothing fancy, and souvenirs look to cash in on NASA and the overall space experience in the area; however, it is very clean and usually there is an open table, not always. They offer public restrooms. The service/staff is rather young, college kids types, they don't go out of their way in any fashion to heighten the dining experience, but they meet the basic need - adequate. The donuts and drinks are great but the breakfast food could use some work. I got the avocado toast, it was so hard to bite into I couldn't even finish it. The acai bowl was so hard it seemed like it was made days before and frozen; it took a while for it to thaw to be able to enjoy it. The girls at the front counter were not the friendliest...one girl even said "Are you done?" while we were still ordering our food.
