Upon entering, there were some other people in there, but it was by no means crowded. The girl behind the counter welcomed us. The place looked clean and organized, so I started to feel more positive about this experience going well. They have a good selection of flavors, and "swirl" flavors. I chose the pineapple and coconut swirl. Highly recommend, very delicious. Then I went to the fruit section and was happy to find that all my favorites were there. This was going so well I was really hoping they wouldn't let me down in the crunchy department, and they didn't! They have CRUSHED WAFFLE CONES. I had never had that before, and it blew my mind a little. Service was courteous as we checked out, and while we were eating we enjoyed the music. Everything was delicious, and I'm so happy I can enjoy froyo without fear here. Now for the side story: When we were almost done eating a man walked in with a pretty large family. They got their yogurt, and everything was good. But then the man walked up to the register, asked the girl behind the counter something and went back to his table upset. My husband had overheard the conversation and said that the man had asked if he could get more yogurt (like, free refill style), and the girl told him he'd have to pay for it. This is what upset him. Before I continue the story, how did this not make sense to him??? I think of other situations where you pay by weight; at the deli you don't pay for 5 ounces, and then get extra free ounces! After a minute, the man got back up and started speaking to the girl behind the counter again, he was speaking quietly, so I figured he was asking a different question or seeking further explanation, no big deal...until he told her to stop being so cheap and started yelling (and calling her bad names) in Spanish! I was in shock because he was a grown man, and behind the counter was a young girl, and he was cursing at her (in front of his children) over yogurt!! He stormed off with his family after that, and I was left with my jaw on the floor. I know the side story had nothing to do with the quality of the froyo or the establishment, but watching how the poor girl behind the counter handled herself in that situation, solidified that we'd be returning. Both young girls behind the counter remained calm and courteous to the man, meanwhile my eyeballs were about to pop out of my head. I can certainly say that they've hired some good staff. Also, don't yell at customer service people, stay classy.
