I was looking for some local cafes and restaurants to check out near me and this place popped up and it did not disappoint. The service was solid as well. I got the Oatmeal Cream Pie and Pumpkin Crisp. The Oatmeal Cream Pie seems to be a fan favorite and it was definitely my favorite as well. It tastes so good and it is huge! The cream in the middle is heavenly. The Pumpkin Crisp was also tasty. I enjoyed the frosting (I think they use buttercream or something so it is sweet but not overly sweet) and the walnuts at the bottom added a nice texture. I feel like the pastries were reasonably priced, at least compared to the larger cities I used to live in. I definitely want to come back and try their other pastries and even their drinks because there are a lot of them. I think their weekly menu also changes too. I would probably rate it a 4.5/5 stars if I could. But overall this is a cute stop for some yummy sweet treats!

I have had an array of cupcakes ranging from Strawberry Short Cake to Red Velvet. And no matter the flavor, I'm always moved by the consistency of the cake, the goodness of the frosting and the artistry that comes included in every bite. On my most recent visit I ordered a half dozen of cupcakes. We ordered two peanut butter, two cookies and cream and two vanilla. I ate the cookies and cream one. It was seriously the most delicious cookies and cream cupcake ever created. The cupcakes are freshly frosted at each visit so the cookie and cream topping the cupcake was soft accompanying a very moist cupcake. I highly recommend visiting the Cupcake Corner next time you're in uptown Shelby.
