Snickerdoodle? and Lemon Sugar $3.50/each, a gourmet cookie S'mores $4, and a printed Rice Crispy treat $3. With tax and $2.24 tip it came to $17.18. The interior is very nicely decorated and welcoming. All the treats tasted freshly made. All cookies were as expected delicious. It was the Lemon Sugar cookie that impressed me. The intensity of the lemon was just what I look for in a lemon cookie. So many other places don't get it right with a faint lemon flavor. This was spot on. The S'mores cookie was really good too. The Rice Crispy treat impressed me also. It was gooey, not overly sweet, and separated easily. I don't usually order these bc of other places being past their freshness, hard and tough. This place got it right. The design was well done and cute. Use the QR code to check out their site which is full of info. These are specialty treats so you pay a specialty price. Personally, if it came down to ordering a dozen Classic cookies for $38 I would bake them myself. It's the printed cookies that I would use their service for a special occasion bc I don't have the talent nor equipment to replicate what they do. The designs are so special and unique making such great gifts. The Cookie Bouquets, Mug Sets, and Cookie Cakes, would be perfect for that special birthday/occasion. Such beautiful designs for memorable celebrations!

2 stars? Let me tell you why…read more I really wanted to love this place because on paper it checks a lot of boxes. The location is convenient, the store itself is impressively large, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Prices are also reasonable, which makes it an easy stop if you are in the area and just want to grab something quickly. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart once you get past the surface. The customer service felt unwelcoming, particularly if you are not a regular or clearly part of the local crowd. The vibe was more cold than hospitable, which is disappointing for a place that clearly sees a lot of foot traffic. As for the food, the donuts are actually pretty decent and show some promise. However, the sausage in the kolaches was a letdown in both flavor and quality and detracted from what could have been a solid offering. The bread used for the biscuits and similar items is also very specific to this shop and while some may enjoy it, it was not to my taste and felt more odd than comforting. Overall, this is a spot with potential but inconsistent execution. Between the unfriendly atmosphere and uneven food quality, it is hard to justify more than two stars despite the good location, size, selection, and pricing.

So here's the thing... I'm not a huge fan of their donuts. The donut holes are dense and there's…read morenot much glaze on them. They do have fun donuts with Fruity Pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch - they re ok, but again lots of dough. The balance of icing or glaze to dough is off. Now onto the best part - their sausage rolls are really good! They have different options for these, including a boudin jalapeño sausage! What's interesting is their sausage rolls don't have as much dough as you'd usually see elsewhere, and they're great! The dough is like a cross between a bagel and donut. They also have these spinach & cheese flaky croissant things - perfection!

Not only was it over priced, it was barely big enough for 5, and yet cost $200, but it had the taste and look of a boxed cake! The cake tasted horrible, and the fondant was disgusting. Then to boot they did the worst job decorating the cake! It was suppose to be a high fashion Louis Vuitton cake, and looked like something a child decorated! It was so lazy! They used plain icing on the outside, and hardly no decoration! We paid $200 for a tiny cake, that tasted like boxed yellow cake mix, and one small fondant bow, lazy decorations, and nothing about this cake tasted good! Completely ruined my party! Yep, this place is a winner!…read more I've been to Lipan a couple of times, doing something called CityStrides. On those afternoon trips, Marcantonio's Bakery was closed, but I took note. I was determined to do another stride when Marcantonio's Bakery was open. That day was a couple of days ago. The other reviews tell it right. This is not your average small town bakery. At first look, it is a donut shop, but then you realize there is more to it. It is a bakery, and a pie shop. We (three) did our best to sample as much as we could. Everything was great. We had donuts, muffins, and sausage rolls. Everything quite delicious. My wife also made the observation that things were not "super sweet", and this is a good thing. I don't know what the source of their donut fillings, but they taste "fresh." I didn't think to ask the source, but it did not seem to be the chemically tasting fillings so common at other places. The proprietor is super friendly. He gave us a bit of the background on Marcantonio's Bakery, and it's a cool story. I'll just give you a snippet. It's been around since 1998! Want to know more? Come by and talk to Frank! If you have a chance. yo need to check this place out, and a couple other cool places in Lipan! Bottom line: Even when I'm done Striding the city (it's only 22 streets), I'll be coming back to Lipan for tasty treats, cheese (from across the street), and flatbread pizza (another place across the street).
