In a way, it was like tempura batter but softer. The crust is good, but not the main character - often, in other cuisine the crust because the focus. Instead, the fish remained the focus of this dish and it was excellent. The mayonnaise sauce was tasty, but a bit too sweet to my liking. In general, mayonnaise in Holland seems to be a bit sweeter. As for the store itself, it had a wonderful line-up of various seafood items. I would love to try other stuff they have displayed in their shelves.

Ellen, who is one of the staff, prepares them fresh as ordered and is meticulous in her preparation. Ellen is also very knowledgeable about all things fish and can definitely recommend what would be best for whatever you need something for, be it dinner, BBQing, afternoon snack etc. she also speaks great English!
