Our wedding was on 1/20/2018 and we must say Mi Rincon Banquet Hall was amazing. We put our trust in Maria Mercedes and her family; they were exceptional, and caring. She gave us many great recommendations for any additional wedding details I needed, including finding a good cake place. Maria is so organized and patient; the perfect combination needed when planning a wedding. She helped me with all of the details in the hall. Everything went smoothly without me having to stress over decorations, vendors, any coordination or the schedule. Albert, DJ was lots of fun, with tons of years of experience and coordinated with us very well to make sure the music and activities were exactly as we wanted. He really livened up the place and the people to dance and participate. Food:The vendors she works with our great. The caterer was amazing we loved the food. We chose a Mexican dinner from her options Mexican birria. Decorations: With her help everything came out great. Our main color was red, so she had everything organized and decorated very elegant and beautiful. I even took some extra red roses and center pieces to decorate on my own, and she took them in and added them to her decorations. She surprised us with the unique way she used them to decorate and thankful for her help. However, I would suggest that they add more songs because there comes a point when we get bored dancing to the same music. And as for the DJ who plays music when the band is on break, the only word I have to describe him is: HORRIBLE. He is very repetitive and does not accept suggestions from customers. I saw her come to our table once. The place wasn't completely full. The one thing that I didn't like was the bartender opened all my seltzers so when the I r started to melt they were trying to tip over which would of resulted in them spilling and ice water filling up into the cans....dumb Staff has always been nice when I've been in here. Two weekends ago I sat @ the star during Zowie Bowie. Female bartender was attentive. Place has always been clean. It's non-smoking. There is a small dance floor if you want to get your groove on. I like this little show room. I've never seen a cover charge to get inside which is always nice. Bathrooms are right outside. There is a wheel chair accessible ramp to get in & out.

Ray connected me with the caterer Manuel , the DJ Paul and accommodated our every need for our special day. We also met Amber from the office who was helpful and nice. Also the bartender Amber was well on the day of our reception was amazing. Our special day was flawless the food was good the prime rib was a bit rare I should have advised how I wanted it cooked everyone does not eat it so rare . But no complaints . The Dj Paul was on point with the music , everyone was on the dance floor. Overall we were very pleased with our reception and the service that was provided. From dressing up, to last minute changes, to helping us with all the decor, making sure we got the DJ we loved, and helping us connect to people for props to chocolate fountains to a unicorn (yes I said unicorn!) We had a fairytale/fantasy themed wedding and she ( Yanelys) and her staff dressed up too! That did not go unnoticed & everybody loved it and made everyone feel like they were in another world! Yanelys had literally picture perfect photography and was very quick to adapt as coordinator & photographer! DJ Nando was amazing keeping up with our crazy request-Sean loved to be able to come down with his own "theme song", LoL. Gina from Gina's Design Fountain was on point and had sooo many details that told our story & matched our theme-Gina you did amazing work and there aren't enough words to compliment the amount of detail you put into our fountains and table!! The Ctrl Room allows you to put yourself in the DJ shoes for 90 minutes. You enter into a cool space and you get an opportunity to learn from a seasoned DJ the basics required to mix in and mix out a song, do distortions, and isolate different aspects of a song. They're big time Disney fans so they had a Cinderella theme. It was easy to find this venue & there is plenty of parking. There was a security guard inside the door. The table settings were gorgeous. Everything looked so perfect. The colors were great!! The curtains that hung from the ceiling have lights all in them & when it gets dark inside & they turn them on it was soooooo pretty!! The guest of honor was able to arrive at the top of a staircase inside & walk down that stairs. There is also is a little room off to the side where they set up a photo booth. There was a young lady who was introducing the guest, her court & other guests. When the speaker announced it was time to eat & that she would call one table at a time I had NO idea where the buffet was. I thought it was going to be a long table of food but it was inside this little room. There were 2 servers & there was a little bit of a wait. It would of been nice if they supplied butter for the bread & plain spaghetti along with some black pepper. There was no salt & pepper shakers to be found. I was a little bummed not to see any seltzers or sliced lemons at the bar. Also it would of been nice to know it was a CASH ONLY BAR. I talked with my friend & she said she wasn't even aware it was cash only. That is something that the owners may want to tell their guest when they are looking to book this hall. I don't carry much cash on me & they were charging $10 for a Tito's. The girl also announced after they were done serving the food it would still be available for guests & just to let them know. I was actually hungry & could have gone for seconds but never saw anyone to ask. My friend arrived after the food was served with her 2 kids and no one came over to her. The staff was very, very slow to come pick up dirty dishes off the tables. I was not impressed by this. No one came to see if we needed our water pitches refilled. My empty drink cup sat on the table the whole night. I did like how they had a water bubbler next to the bar with cups to serve yourself water. It was pretty sad how the staff demolished the cake while cutting it. The pieces were all different sizes & just a hot mess at the end. See photo. They did a beautiful job on the setup & decorations but the staff definitely needs some improvement on taking care of the guests dirty dishes & checking on everyone. Due to this I'm giving this place a 4 star review.
