Don't let the outside of this place deceive you. It can be made to look very beautiful inside. I went to a coworker's daughter's 16th bday celebration here. They're big time Disney fans so they had a Cinderella theme. It was easy to find this venue & there is plenty of parking. There was a security guard inside the door. The table settings were gorgeous. Everything looked so perfect. The colors were great!! The curtains that hung from the ceiling have lights all in them & when it gets dark inside & they turn them on it was soooooo pretty!! The guest of honor was able to arrive at the top of a staircase inside & walk down that stairs. There is also is a little room off to the side where they set up a photo booth. There was a young lady who was introducing the guest, her court & other guests. When the speaker announced it was time to eat & that she would call one table at a time I had NO idea where the buffet was. I thought it was going to be a long table of food but it was inside this little room. There were 2 servers & there was a little bit of a wait. It would of been nice if they supplied butter for the bread & plain spaghetti along with some black pepper. There was no salt & pepper shakers to be found. I was a little bummed not to see any seltzers or sliced lemons at the bar. Also it would of been nice to know it was a CASH ONLY BAR. I talked with my friend & she said she wasn't even aware it was cash only. That is something that the owners may want to tell their guest when they are looking to book this hall. I don't carry much cash on me & they were charging $10 for a Tito's. The girl also announced after they were done serving the food it would still be available for guests & just to let them know. I was actually hungry & could have gone for seconds but never saw anyone to ask. My friend arrived after the food was served with her 2 kids and no one came over to her. The staff was very, very slow to come pick up dirty dishes off the tables. I was not impressed by this. No one came to see if we needed our water pitches refilled. My empty drink cup sat on the table the whole night. I did like how they had a water bubbler next to the bar with cups to serve yourself water. It was pretty sad how the staff demolished the cake while cutting it. The pieces were all different sizes & just a hot mess at the end. See photo. They did a beautiful job on the setup & decorations but the staff definitely needs some improvement on taking care of the guests dirty dishes & checking on everyone. Visited here last Saturday for a family member's wedding!!! The inside is so cute and I loved the decor and all the areas for photo ops. I recently went here for a celebration of life for my friends passing. This place is absolutely beautiful inside. The staff is extremely professional and so polite and accommodating. My friends and coworkers surprised me with a baby shower at Layla's Palace. When I entered the banquet hall there was a beautiful sign that greeted me and a gift table. As I continued the decorations were beautiful. The theme was stars! This was during COVID-19 and they took all the precautions to make me and my future baby feel safe. They were wearing gloves and masks. The tables were so cute, not those typical ugly party tables. They were classy. The banquet hall is spacious and it gave us plenty of room to listen to the mariachi that came. The food was delicious and it was served by their staff. Since the place is spacious we were able to socially distance. Honestly, the baby shower there was so nice that I want to do my baby's baptism party there. I highly recommend this place. I made to read the reviews before I booked this place for my daughter quince. Everything sounded amazing. Well, my daughters party is in two weeks and I've never felt more stressed about how everything has been handled at the venue. We were told food tasting would be done in August, which I have in writing. I called the last week of August to touch base and Almendra told me the next food tasting they had available would be 9/24, 17 days before the quincenera. We attended the food tasting and the Birria was flavorless, a plate called Cecilia's chicken was super dry and the sauce tastes like milk and flour, a plate called Layla's chicken was the better one which is basically chicken in creamy Chipotle sauce. Not to mention the mashed potatoes were out of a box, there's no confusing the taste and texture. I asked for the menu 3x so that we could see other options for food and the owner ignored me. The only thing we got done that night after 3 hours was the table setting which we had to do ourselves. I texted Almendra that night once I got home and I asked her for the menu since I wasn't given one at the food tasting and she said yes I'll send it to you. It's been 3 days and I haven't heard from her. I texted her this morning to meet with me and finalize the details because I have a lot of questions about the DJ, the decorations, we need to add things, when do we come in to set up the candy table, when do we get time to practice the dance in the venue. These are things I strongly believe should be done with more time but they've kept brushing me off. I just want to give my daughter the most beautiful quincenera I can and so far I am disappointed in myself for picking this place, but it's too late to change venues. I will post another review after the 11th of October to see how it turns out. read more

Lovely venue, very spacious, good food. Most importantly to me the Venue manager Celia was very accommodating! She really helped to create bride and groom's a vision for their wedding a reality. She was very kind and understanding through the whole planning process. We had the whole wedding planned in four short visits. They have a just about every color to choose from for your table settings and lots of decorations to choose from. The rest of the staff, the security guard, waiters and bartender were all very pleasant to work with. The DJ worked on keeping the party dancing and the good vibes coming. Food that was served was more than enough! Guests left with full, happy bellys. The chicken, salad and potatoes were great. Another thing that really surprised me was how good the cake was. Being in the cake business myself for 5 years, I didn't think I was going to be as surprised as I was. The icing was light and fluffy and the cake was moist and flavorful. Honestly has been the most amazing place for every family event we've as for the past few years. The staff is amazing and hate care of you as if you were one of their own. From the decoration to the music and the food they make sure that you are happy with what you want on your day. My daughter's 15th birthday party was amazing in the accommodated extra people we were not anticipating on arriving. Was enough food, cake and dessert for everyone. The owners are always nearby ready to answer any questions and ensure that the party has a smooth night. Have security ensuring everything is okay and accommodate whether if you want invite only or open door policy. Restrooms are kept clean throughout the night and located in a perfect area so those who have younger children are not worried. The bar is always on point and has top shelf options if wanted. I was planning our agency Holiday party and spied this venue while at a restaurant in the area. When our planning committee visited, we knew this was the place! It is large with beautiful draperies on the ceiling and walls, twinkle lights everywhere, and beautiful place settings. We met with Cecelia, who manages the facility for the family. She was so easy to work with and made great suggestions. She guided us through the whole planning process with professional ease. She was a pleasure to work with! Mama and her staff do the cooking.....come on....who doesn't like Mama's food! It was soooo good.....we had chips and homemade salsa, salad, vegetables (fresh not frozen), rice, potatoes, Birria (braised beef), and the outstanding Layla's chicken! And, we got to take the leftovers back to the office. There wasn't one negative comment about the food....which is pretty epic when feeding 130 people. A wedding type cake was included in the price. It was presented on a special cake table, decorated like a winter wonderland, and was beautiful! It was so beautiful that one of our guests thought it was fake so she touched it and messed up the frosting! They served the cake at our tables and it was homemade as well....so good! Did I mention this was a very economical place to have a party??? Most places charge extra for everything.....not Layla's Palace! The price included the venue rental with all decor, food, non-alcoholic beverages, a DJ, a photo booth backdrop, security, and the cake. I can't share the cost, but I can say that it beat most of the venues we looked at. They were so accommodating and handled everything professionally. We plan to return next year. Of course, with every event there are hiccups. What matters is, how they are resolved. Cecelia was available for the entire party and actively tried to fix the issues that we had.....we basically tried to fit a 4 hour event in 2 hours. We learned, they learned and we'll change it up next year! I highly recommend this venue for your event.....it's large, Mama's food is amazing and Cecelia will do whatever it takes to make your event a success! read more

They say that your wedding day is the happiest day of your life, and I would totally agree. My wife and I looked at tons of venues around Las Vegas and Henderson, some were very astronomical, some were very affordable, but in many places we just felt like they wanted to sell us a package and were not personable at all. With that being said, we found Leila's palace. My wife had previously been to this venue and said that we had to check it out. To my surprise at the time they were remodeling. I could honestly say this was a nice venue. When we got there we were greeted by Cecilia; she is the type of lady that can be anybody's mom. We really felt at home when we sat down with her. She was not a person that pushed us to pick different packages like so many other places. She really took her time and paid attention to all the small details. We felt so great about it we booked right on the spot. Fast forward, one month before the big day we were contacted by her daughter to help us with all the last minute preparations. The reception was amazing! I am still getting compliments on how nice the place was, the great staff, and the amazing food. All I can say is this family and place is five-star. I really feel sorry for my friend coz the party starts at 5 pm and guests came and the venue wasnt even ready yet. They were still cleaning up from the party the other day. The people who works here are so unpleasant. The food was ok but on the party they were only serving water and blue gatorade. I asked if I can get a soda and they refuse and said they cant it was an open bar but you can only get beer in the can that you can only choose 3 kinds of beer They have a security doesnt even check if your really invited he will just let you in. From what im notice I think theres alot of party crusher in the party. People are trying to find a seat specially those who are invited that came a little late and waited for 10-15 minutes to be seated. I first called her late one evening in tears because the original reception venue I reserved cancelled on me. Cecilia was with a client at the time and took some information from me and asked if she could get back with me. As promised I received a message from her with a quote included. I booked my reception with her the next day. Every conversation, every meeting, was a true pleasure. I felt comfortable with leaving it all in her hands. She took care of everything and then some. The staff has always been super nice and helpful, the events are always on time and well executed, and the food when I've had it has been great.
