This outstanding venue played host to my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party this past weekend. We couldn't have been happier with how everything worked out. Planning a party is stressful, planning a party to celebrate 50 years of marriage that features your closest friends & family is even more stressful. Thankfully, The Beacon Center was a super easy venue to book, the owner, Becky, was super helpful, and everything went off flawlessly. Pricing plans changed a little during the time leading up to the party. Becky went from mostly a la cart pricing to bundled packages, which was great. We ended up modifying our package to take over the whole facility (they have a small room that we didn't rent originally). One of the best parts of this venue is that they allow you to bring in outside food & drinks, including alcohol. The facility is incredibly clean. The Beacon Center is used for a lot of corporate meetings, but let me tell you that it's a great spot for a party. It's not located too far off the strip, and while the decor is definitely more office-like, you can transform the facility nicely into a party atmosphere. They have a great PA system that is super easy to work. Bluetooth can be used to play music from your phone or iPad/tablet, and the sound quality is solid. They even installed LED lights that create a really fun party atmosphere. We couldn't be more pleased with how our event went off. We'll definitely look to book future events here if needed and would encourage others to do so as well! One last note, Becky was incredibly responsive. Wow. What does this space have to do to get 5 stars on yelp?! Well, they gave us a code to get in, which was nice because we didn't have to wait for anyone to let us in! They have free guest WiFi, and that was convenient for our event. The bathrooms were really clean & spacious (men & women both had one stall) They stocked the drawers with extension cords, HDMI & other office supplies. They even had a screen to do presentations on. Lots of chairs & tables to set up any way you want. Also a little desk to sit at when you walk in. We used that for our check-in portion. Plus! I cannot say enough fantastic things about this venue. Becky was amazing and very flexible. I, of course, had last minute changes which were handled quickly and graciously. The venue was clean, set up perfectly, and ready to be decorated for the baby shower I was throwing. Getting the larger package to have use of the kitchen was completely worth it. Believe me, you want the little kitchen space. Pricing for The Beacon Center came in about $1000 less than other venues I looked at. I've been attending events and meetings at The Beacon Center for years and I've rented it a few times in the past but one of the owners had always been present. This last time, however, I was on my own. I was given a security code to access the facility. I had a few last minute requests and called the owner. She told me where to find things and gave me security codes and keys to access them. My event went like clockwork because The Beacon Center owners had anticipated every last minute, on-site request and were prepared for them. My family and I rented out the Beacon Center to celebrate my dad's 70th Birthday. Becky made everything easy to do online and over the phone since I live in California. Becky was extremely helpful and communicating with her was not a problem. The center was clean and ready for us to use when we got there on the event day. The area the center is located in is in a quiet secluded area. The event center itself was perfect for our event. There's a place for us to put the food, there was a refrigerator to help keep the beverages cold. The bathrooms were clean and the provided essentials such as hair spray, a lint brush, room deodorizer, etc. There wasn't a kitchen there but since we ordered food that was already prepared we did not need one. There was ample parking for our guests and even though it was in a nice quiet secluded area it wasn't too hard to find. If I were to have another celebration in Las Vegas again I would definitely use The Beacon Center again. read more

The Beacon Center would not refund my money that I had paid for my daughter's college graduation. Due to covid the school didn't have an actual graduation. I requested a refund and was told that I wouldn't be getting my money back and that since I paid through my bank that basically I'm SOL. How can a reputable business think that's ok?
