My skin feels so good! I have to say I have had several people work on my face as my face tends to flare up when I eat spicy foods or having a acne broke out. But the woman at this who worked on my face this week really did an excellent job. 1st she was extremely informative and helpful on how to calm the irritation down. Then after the facial educated me on how to prevent it from happening again. I got the seaweed facial which is a facial I use to get in the east coast that seems to be extremely rare in this city. My pores were so big when I went in... and are tiny now after the facial. After the facial it helped a lot to see that the facialist was a living testimony with before and afters of her beautiful skin! Also, I like that this place makes and effect to heal the skin without using a lot of harsh chemicals. Which is a plus in my book. I wanted to write a review for 2 reasons: First if I want to say how great and professional Mimi and her team is. I get facials regularly that leave my face feeling like a babies butt. I always dread the extractions but are so worth it! I also received a lash lift recently which was amazing and brings me to my next reason: as I was waiting for my appointment, I happen to over hear the receptionist dealing with the exceptionally rude customer below that just left a bad review... the receptionist was politely explaining to the customer that she and her mother missed their appointments without a call or a text to reschedule and as per Groupon and NYBC policy, the groupon is forfeited. After harassing the receptionist for a solid 5 minutes, the mother started to say racist comments like "do you even speak English". Mind you, the receptionist speaks perfect English! I was so shook! Absolutely love this place. Their private office is centrally located in Coral Gables in a quiet area with plenty of accessible street parking- I have never had an issue commuting there or finding a parking space. My first time there, Mimi, the aesthetician, was welcoming and extremely informative. She literally educated me on everything I needed to know about my skin while customizing a facial for my specific skin needs. My first visit's Acne/Custom facial offered me unbelievable results and she even recommended at home skin care steps and products that have really improved my skin. My skin has been glowing since and I committed to visiting her for custom facials and microdermabrasion facials every couple of weeks since. Love this place! After I moved to Miami, my skin started acting up but with the help of Mimi, it looks so much better now! The salon is clean and small - which means that during your appointment you are in the focus. Even after moving further North, I still drive to Coral Gables for the amazing acne facials, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning. My favorite is the customs facial where everything was perfectly adjusted to the needs of my skin. Mimi also correctly guessed that I am allergic to tomatoes when my chin had really bad acne. We did a 1 month test where I didn't eat tomatoes at all and it got so much better during that time. Guess that means I have to cut down on my lasagna consumption now... So happy I found a place close by for facials. I have had acne prone skin since I was a teenager, deep bumps under the surface as an adult. The 'texture' on my skin has been really bothering me lately, and when i found this place samelia the esthetician recommended I purchase a series of skincare treatments. She offers a discounted price when you buy more than one! Her products (i have no clue what she used on me) but it left my skin visibly tighter, and after the 2nd treatment I can honesty say the bumps have gone down! I have one more facial left in this series, and I can't wait to be rid of this texture. I just had my second microdermabrasion treatment and am SO happy with the results! I first went to see Mimi for her Signature Facial, based on the excellent reviews I read, then decided to go with the microderm series and already feel like my face looks a good 10 years younger! After the great (relaxing too) facial, I also purchased an acne facial for my daughter's birthday. She expected to walk out with a "new" face so was initially disappointed, but quickly changed her tune when she saw the bumps and pimples disappear from her cheeks a couple of days later. I got a custom facial with microdermabrasion. After facials I usually can't walk outside due redness & puffiness. Not here, it was more like ready to walk the red carpet! I just so happened to be on the table the other day when you came in a totally disrupted the place all because they refused to accept your Groupon. You were so loud and profane that I started to get dress just in case I had to step out and defend the two ladies. Ever since I had my son my hermone have been going crazy ‍. This weekend I tried Not Your Basic Chic acne facial an it was the best! My skin is clearing up all ready and I'm so excited. This place is a hidden gem! I came in for a Microdermabrasion facial and a dermaplaning add on .. All I can say is wow! I've tried everything for MONTHS to get rid of my acne and dark spots and coming here was one of the best decisions I've ever made.... within a few days my face was GLOWING and clear! The place is so relaxing and Mimi my esthetician was very knowledgeable on how to care for my skin type.   You have to try or ask for their "Custom . Facial it is the best facial. It takes care of acne, oily skin, packed with facial serums,  extractions if needed.. With possible microdermabrasion, collagen, seaweed, or 24 karat gold facial treatments. I got the best Men's facial from this place! They definitely take care of their customers for sure! The esthetician's are knowledgeable and super professional. Unfortunately, because give great service and results they are booked‍ So when you go to there booking site nothing is wrong with it... They are really busy!
