The menu is pretty limited but that's a good thing. At our table of 5, there were 2 orders of the traditional 3 piece "Fish Fry" and 3 orders of the "Walleye". Most places I've been to offer rolls or salad prior to the meal arriving. Just as I was pondering this, our fresh, hot, overflowing plates arrived! Along with our crispy fish were two pieces of thickly sliced marble rye, some of the best cole slaw I've ever had and potato of choice. Mom and I had the red skin potatoes which were buttery and garlicy and delicious! Schweety and Dad loved the warm German potato salad and Sis, stuck to her usual fries, which were also hot and crispy! Initially I expected that we'd leave with a bunch of takeout boxes. however, the food is so well prepared and delicious that very little of it left the restaurant with us! It's a little out of the way, but well worth the trip.
