Since Wells Fargo acquired Wachovia after a government-forced sale to avoid a failure of Wachovia. My accounts were merged just last month. so I have plenty of new places to get service from the banks. I'm getting used to changing since Bank Florida was sold to First union and first union was sold to Wachovia. I still need to go back and find out what all the new services and of course fees will be. I hope this is a change for the better.

One, it is sometimes difficult to navigate; when you are coming up northbound on Mayfair Road, you have to make a left turn at Center Street and then make another left turn into the lot. Problem is, during drive times, its hard to make that left turn into the lot, due to inconsiderate folks behind the wheel, waiting in line eastbound on Center street to get through the intersection at Mayfair Road; otherwise, I guess you can take a chance and make a U-turn and then enter from Mayfair Road. Another gripe I have at this location is that there is only one ATM and it is a driveup kiosk, outside. It is not under an overhang or canopy, so you are exposed to the weather. Nope, there is not one ATM inside this bank.

Okay, in general credit unions and savings and loans are better than the big banks for fees, service, and integrity. Even among credit unions, I find Educators to be better than the others because of the number of branches in the area and the helpful friendly workers. Even among the Educators credit union branches, I find this one to be better because it's roomy, I never have to wait long, parking is easy. As with the other Educators Credit Unions branches there's complimentary coffee. Educators helped me with a bathroom remodel loan, and two car loans. I've had problem free checking and savings accounts for years and they've never crashed my nation's economy.

I…read morehave been a patron for over 20 years, but am transitioning to another bank due to the decline in services within this branch as well as at the corporate level. The fees are significant and unfair, and the lack of staff knowlege has resulted in account errors that have been costly (depending on who you ask you will likely get a different answer). Should you make a mistake on your register (for example forget to deduct a random autopay from your balance) you will be charged $35 per item (even if the withdrawal is for less than $1) in the order they came in. Within a day this mistake will easily and unfairly cost you over $200 and common sense cannot be negotiated, and they won't consider reversing the fees no matter how silly they seem. So, if you are at any risk of making a simple mistake on your register for less than a cup of coffee, I recommend you bank elsewhere. Its unfortunate, because switching banks after 20 years is a pain but makes sense for me...because chances are I will at some point forget to add that cup of coffee to my register and I will need some understanding and grace from the person I am speaking with at my bank so that it doesn't become a $200 mistake. This is not that bank. Original review in 2018: My experience with this branch has been so good. A few months ago, I had a restaurant incorrectly charged me over $1000 on my bill (I paid with my credi/debit card). I didn't realize it until the next day when I looked at my bank account online. Aleta was so helpful in getting it all sorted out, and truly went above and beyond. Since then, I have opened a new checking account there and she as well as the other employees at this branch were so helpful. Next I will be opening a savings account there.
