I give Northwest Exterminating five stars. I wrote a letter several months back and sent it to the office for the outstanding work of the employees I had encountered. But just an update since I have received a new exterminator expert; Michael Hamlin has been my exterminator for several quarters now as well as for the annual termite inspection. He is a very unassuming gentleman with a calm demeanor, always very professional, respectful and thorough. Michael is knowledgeable about his work and is a first class employee with Northwest Exterminating. He is personable and always brings treats for our dog. The other day when he was at the house for the annual termite inspection he noticed that there were some ants (even though it wasn't time for my quarterly inspection) he was thorough enough and cared enough to treat them. I would recommend Northwest Exterminating to any one (and I do!) as the girls in the office are always very nice and helpful as well. Customer service is a rarity these days but you will receive top notch if you hire this company for service. I just finished the first season of lawn care with Northwest, and am very satisfied at this point. They actually started in cycle 3 this year in April, so it has not really been a full season. I was concerned about this application because I have extensive landscaping that is subject to damage from the wrong chemicals. It started with a walk around my property with Bill Glidden, where he gave me his realistic assessment of what to expect from the first year. He did not promise the world, just a realistic result which I felt was acceptable, and I was wiling to go with that. It turns out he was conservative, and to me the results were better than expected after this first year. I had told Bill that I would write a review after the first year when I saw the results. So here it is. Bill exceeded my expectations, and I am very pleased at this point. I will continue next year. Bill is very professional ,knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. Along with hot weather came an ant problem in my newly built home. The builder had established a termite contract with Northwest so I researched their pest control services and was pleased to find they use people, pet, and environmentally safe methods. So I called them. The person I spoke with was very friendly and efficient. The very nice technician was on-time and was very professional in dress and manner. He had been briefed about my problem and concerns and spent a good amount of time thoroughly looking for and finding the ants' colonies outside and treating my home. When done, Josh gave me a verbal and written report of what he found and what was done. I am very pleased with the customer service provided by the staff I spoke with on the phone and Josh, who will be my routine technician. And, the treatment they use is safe and it works! read more

We use Northwest for our lawn fertilization, ant control, pest prevention, and wildlife services. They are all very knowledgeable in these services and the guys that come out are wonderful. They get to know you by name and take the time to ASK if everything is going well or if there are any problems. I recently had an inside pest problem and Luke (bless his heart) was patient and professional with us. I had the pleasure of speaking with Chris as he did our lawn fertilization. Also, when you call into the Columbus office, Linda is a very sweet lady. She's always willing to help and answer questions. They are like a large family. I highly recommend this company. Extremely pleased with Northwest. They give me reminder calls that they'll be coming, and I don't even have to be present. Plus, we use the eco-friendly green products, which is extremely important because of small kids & lots of pets. All the staff members are so nice & helpful. They go above and beyond!
