DELIGHTFUL!! A wonderful place to visit in the heart of Columbus. Though close to eating and shopping (within 10 minutes) this little garden is so tranquil and sweet. The grounds are immaculate. Large cascading water features, shaded areas and wonderful walking trails make this a special place to meet for a stroll or to bask in a mediation. The trails are well planned and easily accessible. They wind around a camellia grove, bursting with beautiful blooms. Benches, wind chimes and other hardscape features add to the beauty. The historic home is open to tour. It is used mostly a banquet or venue space. Very nice for a wedding location. Check out the barns and vegetable gardens. Even though I flower farm I still found new things to learn. Displays were great. Small, ample parking lot. Donations are appreciated. FREE!

The lay out was magnificent, bright colors and a magical essence. The entire atmosphere was captivating and sent a burst of Zen upon arrival. The layout was gorgeous and very well kept grounds. I admired so many beautiful water fountains as well as their benches throughout to stop and gaze upon all of the incredible scenery. Anytime I need to escape the hustle and bustle of daily living this is where I will go to enjoy the Botanical Garden.

The Columbus Botanical Garden will inspire and educate all visitors on the beauty of nature and horticulture. The Gardens are a welcoming and harmonious destination, as well as a popular gathering place known for breathtaking landscapes and seasonal displays with unique events and exhibits. The 22-acre garden with features an herb garden, vegetable garden, rose garden, camillia garden, as well ss other flowers, ferns, shrubs, trees and walking trails through woods. Very well planned and maintained without being overly groomed. Walking trails are unpaved through woods in natural settings.

We came off-season in early March meaning none of the flowers were really in bloom. But, the trail through the woods was peaceful and featured many fountains and displays that were very scenic and great for photographs

I would definitely not call this a botanical garden. If anything it's an arboretum. I didn't think it was worth the 10$ they charge.

I didn't get the full tour because my time was limited, but what I did see was beautiful and well maintained.

I was only there for one plant but, during my short time there, I was approached and helped by three of the staff. They were very knowledgeable and knew the various locations they had placed their white fusion plants so I could compare and pick the best one. They also immediately had an answer on whether they had a planter I wanted (sadly sold out) and when it would come in. I am definitely looking forward to coming back when they have restocked their unique planters. If you love plants and love supporting local businesses, this is the nursery to go! They have a very active facebook page so it's easy to keep up with when they have restocked on items or have gotten their hands on some beautifully unique plants. They even post the prices! I went into their shop knowing exactly what I wanted and how much those items would cost. I personally dislike driving all the way to a new store and getting hit with sticker shock so I appreciate the effort they put into their facebook page. The only thing I can say that I did not enjoy about my experience there was that it was not really set up to make customers feel safe during the pandemic. There were no masks being worn, no hand sanitizer available for guests, and my purchase with a debit/credit card required me to sign a touchscreen that everyone else had touched. It made me uncomfortable both for myself and for the lovely staff whom I would not want to get sick while they provide these plants for all the people who love plants or who have been swept up with pandemic gardening.

They restored my backyard, I am able to use it without the worry about standing water. As apart of the maintenance and upkeep of the drain system, Jeff came back out this week (July 2025) and checked to ensure everything is still working properly on my system. I truly appreciate his attention to details and being consistent with communication with me. This company does great work! The quality and value of the service is top tier. I have recommended Jeff and his team to my friends.
