However, he was never informed that a promise to clean the outside of the gutters, the garage doors, and the glass on the sundeck was made. The sales rep made several offers of these 'extras' and adjusted the price of the cleaning service down because "we're in the area so won't charge for travel to and from your location". After the windows were cleaned, I was informed by the salesperson that the price had jumped up by $55 because I couldn't pay until four days later when my pension cheque is deposited. I had made it VERY clear that I would happily pay on Friday but could not pay the day the work was done. The sales rep got very huffy and demanded the extra $55 "because you're paying 4 days after the work was completed". I think this is unfair for two reasons. First, there was no guidance for the actual cleaning person, my garage doors were never cleaned, and the poor kid looked at me as if he was in shock when I pointed out what the sales rep had promised. Secondly, I don't like being harangued about a price increase when I was extremely clear that I couldn't pay on the day the service was done. I do not recommend dealing with this company. I maybe old, but I hate being bullied.

They were very good with the quote,…read morebreaking it down for my mother, they started the work earlier then they originally told her and had the work completed early. I went to check and make sure that everything was completed as promised and noticed that the flashing around the chimney did not look good. My husband called Kurt who took a while to return his call and told my husband that he did not get the pictures we sent. Kurt told my husband that they don't include masonary flashing in the quote even though the quote says flashing is included and does not say that masonary (chimney) flashing is excluded. My husband was then referred to the owner. The owner confirmed that the masonary flashing is not included but said they would fix it. He also mentioned that myself or my mother had referred to the house as a tear down and that my mother would likely only live in the house for another 5 years at most. We showed the pictures to another roofing company that confirmed the roof would leak the way the flashing was left. Someone came by and did some work on the roof, they did not let my mother know they were there. They came by more then once to complete the work but it still did not seem to be done as well as we felt it should be. Pictures show what we were told was a completed job before they returned and did more work.

I have been using Precision gutters for about 20years and they have never let me down. My home has…read morehidden gutters and we had some issues due to several large trees dropping needles causing blockage. Precision made some recommendations regarding enlarging the gutter openings and adding filters at the downspouts, this has proven to be very helpful. This year they cleaned the gutters and inspected the membrane, a few cracks were found in the membrane and repaired same day. Price was reasonable and a follow up inspection by Precisions quality control manager was an added bonus which I appreciated. I have and will continue to recommend Precision gutters for quality work.
