He sealed all the cracks, vent pipes, reinforced any loose gutter & then clean the roof & gutters. The estimate quote was shocking, but he explained since we had not cleaned the roof in 30 yrs, there was an excessive moss build up. After 4 days (at least 7 hrs/day), our roof looks like brand new! Even though Alex was busy and booked up, he gave me free advice on how to remedy the problem: "If you were to attend Home Depot with the photos, they will be able to advise an appropriate compound to repair the MDF material. It's relatively simple to trowel on with a putty knife and lightly sand after. The trick is to not apply too much compound, being better to do multiple coats that one thick one. Hope this helps." This stood out from a few other e-mails that I received. I have to find someone else to get this particular work done quickly, but I really appreciate the extra time that Alex took to offer a recommendation. Hope to try Better Under in the future. Thanks!
