Bought a Chevy Truck 9 months ago with a bumper to bumper warranty. My Truck has been back to this dealership 4 times, 3 times for warranty work each time taking them 2 plus weeks for repairs to be completed repairs even included a new transmission. 25% of the time I owned this truck it has been getting warranty work done. I will not ever buy another Chevy vehicle again and dread having to return to the dealership every other month when a new issue arises with this truck! Updated 3-2. After post, I was asked to contact business. After sending a message on FB I was contacted by COO who wanted to make things better and asked me to bring in my truck the next available day and they would have a loaner ready for me. I was also contacted by the Service Mgr to confirm my appt. to drop off my vehicle and pick up loaner. She explained to me they try to prioritize loaners to those whose vehicle isn't running at all. I understand this but still doesn't make me feel valued after waiting for two months with no update. Felt a little like excuse vs an apology. I did drop off my vehicle today and they eventually got things set up and had me out the door in about 30 mins with a new Silverado with 18 miles on it. Very kind when I would have been fine with a used vehicle. Now just waiting to see how things go with the service, but we're moving in the right direction. Thanks Jeremy B. Well, the purchase of my Silverado went very well. The service thereafter has been less than stellar.. It seldom seems they have enough service staff to take care of your vehicle and for simple oil changes sometimes 2 to 3 weeks, if not longer to schedule an appointment . Upon having 15,000 mile service completed check engine lights appeared. After taking the vehicle in to be looked at, I was told I needed to bring it in during the weekdays and they would offer me a loaner. They put me on a list and said they would contact me. I've now contacted them three times without any contact to me. It's been two months with no contact. No loaner in my check engine light remains on still being told I'm third on the list to get a loaner so I can have my vehicle serviced. Meanwhile, I've put on 6000 miles and still have a check engine light that no one has diagnosed. To say the least service department has opportunities and I'm not sure if the service manager knows these opportunities or is in the dark. I recommend you consider the ability of your dealership to take care of you when it comes to service when you're purchasing your car because it doesn't matter how well the sale goes if they can't back you up on the backend. read more

Bought a 2015 Chevy Tahoe here and it seemed like a great deal, until both front brakes literally fell off. Luckily my kids and I didn't die but as a result the caliper went through the wheel and the tire went flat. I called the dealership to see if they would make it right sense both calipers were missing the top bolt that holds them in place and they just flat out said no. They said that seems weird accusatorially like I did something to them. I've done no work on the vehicle and when I saw that the brake pads were new when I purchased it assumed all was good with the brakes. This was after 8 weeks of ownership, not years or a crazy amount of miles. The sad thing is, they claim to have inspected the brakes. What a joke! Would never buy a vehicle here or recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a dealership. Took my car in for warranty work, transmission felt like it was going out. They did a diag and dropped the pan on it and told me they couldn't submit it to my warranty company until I showed them an old RO that certain work had been done in the past. (They could have also asked my warranty company) so before I picked my car up I called the service manager Jamie to Confirm, IF I pick my car up will there have to be a second diagnostic fee or will this be able to be submitted under the same issue, and she said there would not be a second diagnostic fee they just need to confirm past work and then they will submit it to warranty. So I paid for a diagnostic fee, picked my car up and got ahold of the dealership that did previous work and got my old RO. Scheduled another appointment to bring my car back and they got to work fixing my car. I then submit my receipt of the diagnostic fee to my warranty company only to find out they did in fact charge for another diagnostic fee to my warranty company. So I emailed my service advisor and he then tells me that oh we had to charge for another diagnostic fee because the technician wasn't able to replicate the issue the first time I was in. WHEN IT LITERALLY STATES HE WAS ABLE TO REPLICATE CUSTOMERS CONCERNS. I replied back that, that was incorrect and he was able to replicate it and he the responded with "Jamie will be back Monday, call then" so I called Monday and Tuesday, then waited a few days called again. Left multiple voicemails. NOTHING. Next week I try again, FINALLY get her on the phone just for her to tell me it's a law that if the car leaves the repair order has to be closed and when the car comes back a new diag is required. Then doesn't let me speak. Talks over me the whole time I'm trying to explain to her that I called her to make sure this wouldn't happen and then she hangs up on me. This place is the most unprofessional place I've ever been. read more

I have a 2020 Chevy that is a diesel the engine went out at just over 100,000 miles. we had it in the shop when it was under and asked about the sounds and the shop said it was nothing to worry about. took it to the shop out of warranty for Glow plugs and an oil change only for this shop to tell us the engine is now blown too! it's been in the shop for a few weeks now with little to no communicatio. I've called multiple times and they leave me on hold or say the person isn't there and I've texted with absolutely no response back as to what there going to do to fix the situation.. don't walk RUN from this dealership and Chevy/GMC in general. look up how many are made so poorly I wish I did before I bought that hunk of junk. read more

I bought a Chevy Silverado last year from this dealer. The actual sale was awesome I was in and out in less then 2 hours from the time I got there. Thats when it all changed and after sales services are the worst I have ever seen. 1. While driving home the day I bought it their driver who followed me home in my other vehicle noticed the steering column was popped. When I dropped him off at the dealership the manager stated he would order the part and fix it. (still happy) 2. I get a text that the part is in and I can schedule the repair. I explain I am out of country and it will be a while before I can schedule I am told no problem. (Still Happy). 3. 2 months later I call to schedule appointment for the fix, and am told that the part was sent back to the manufacturer because I didn't schedule fast enough. I was told they would re-order. (Not as happy as before). 4. Part comes in I schedule the repair along with an oil change. I sat there for 10 hours, and then saw my truck in the parking area and asked if it was complete. I was told they had not started. They then took it in the bay and were out in about 20 minutes and said the replacement parts were complete, the wheels rotated and the oil changed. Before I get home the steering column falls apart again. (Really not happy). 5. I look at the steering column and notice there is a mark I had left on there when I snapped it back together months ago, and therefore the column had never been changed. I call the service desk and they confirm the part is still on the shelf and was not changed. We reschedule again. (starting to get pissed). 6. Steering column is replaced, I then schedule my 15K oil change and services. The mechanic trys to convince me that I need to do services at 15K equalling $962.00. I look them all up and only one that was recommended by the manufacturer was an engine air filter if needed, none of the other stuff. I decline the extra services and did more research. 7. Day of oil change technician again tries to sell me stuff not needed, I decline and tell him I dont appreciate him trying to sell me snake oil. I told them at this point the only reason I am using them is the oil change is free for the life of the car. After the oil change I look down and notice the change oil soon is still on so I stop by the garage and ask them to turn it off. The tech then came to ask me whats going on, and I told him this is the reason I won't do maintenance with them. He then tells me if I don't use them for maintenance they will cancel my free oil changes, and he will show me the contract. He says we can cancel you anytime. I told him no need to show me the contract as I can afford an oil change somewhere else. I then cursed him out and let everyone at the dealership know how I felt. It is unfortunate that good customer service after a sale is non-existent at this dealer. I would not buy a car from them with your money let alone my own. Another wasted chance as I buy cars approximately every 3 years. The only appology or anything was a quick Im sorry that happenned. Yes so am I. read more

After my most recent maintenance repair at Northwest Chevrolet in McKenna, the service technician not only left tools in the engine bay of my vehicle, but even left the old part that was replaced! I have over 15 years of experience in aviation maintenance, so I expected just a tad bit of quality control, but was told that since technicians buy their own tools they shouldn't leave them in vehicles ‍ I paid hundreds of dollars to have a $30 part replaced out of sheer convenience, warranty, and assurance of quality of work; none of these happened, even after bringing the issue to the service manager. For a business who claims to have mechanics that are meticulous in every task, and such great customer service, it is the least to say that they have missed the mark. The only resolution offered was ONE FREE OIL CHANGE because the part fixed the issue. *I requested a full refund for the work completed, minus parts, because I'm keeping the new (and old part that was left behind). This type of subpar work is dangerous and completely unprofessional. I would expect more from the areas only New/Used Auto Dealership, but gladly will make the drive myself, and recommend to everyone, a more reputable service department and dealer from now on. read more

Made reservation to look at an SUV but sold that night. No biggie called and they sent me some vehicles told them I liked one and was told perfect. Came down they said vehicle was here. Once inside could tell not the car, so I thought new car in price range let's go for it. No more that 1 down the road it ran out of gas and had to have someone help me push it to the side. So had to sit there for about 20 to 25 minutes waiting for them to bring me gas. Finally got a great car then as I was driving home relaized i still had all the stickers and was not cleaned. Then went to clean rear window and found out no wiper blade. Then also when they did inspection they lost one of the ford covers over the lug nut. We have a warranty on the vehicle and have spent thousands on repairs, with the truck in the dealership shop for MONTHS, and have not owned the vehicle a year. If I could give zero stars I would. The service is bad bought my 2017 dodge journey there and drove 3 blocks away and engine light came on so turned around and told them and they said bring it back the next day and we did. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the part and then we took it back and they said they fixed it and 1 week later same thing happened and they said they would diagnose the problem again and they did said it needed fixed and we said we needed a temporary rental in order to fix it and about 6 weeks later they called and said they finally got a rental however I had to pay some other company to fix the problem and by now I'm well over 500 dollars and the bumper to bumper warranty didn't cover anything even though they said it covered everything so I won't be doing any repairs or even business there and the management doesn't seem to care read more

We have been a customer of NW Chevrolet for six years and the predecessors of this dealership for thirty years. We have always called this dealership our go to for our vehicles and to recommend to others where to go. Last week I had a situation in the service department and was really disappointed, when I received an email to grade the service visit I gave a low score and commented that I was not happy with an issue that came up and knew it was a misunderstanding. Within an hour I recieved a call from Kyle Drennon the service director for this group, I was candid about why I was disappointed. Kyle is a great representative for the Dinsmore Auto Group, he listened to my concerns and perception of what had happened. I could not be more happy with how Kyle addressed the issue and corrected it. It is hard to find any business today that you can trust to take care of you and NW Chevrolet is one of those companies. Richard Sanborn greeted me at the door. I explained my situation in almost tears. He quickly made me at home guarantee me he could make it happen. Asked me for what I was looking for in a car which my response was something low mileage and dodge. He was passionate about getting me in something I wanted that meet my needs , and wants. He disappears for ten minutes came back says let's do it I have the best man to help this process. Mike did my financing in thirty minutes he is amazing people, he got me approved for a Nice low mileage challenger. But seriously Richard cared and yes they want commission it's their job. But I didn't feel like i was just sold a car. I took my fiancé's car to get an oil change and I informed the guy that helped me that we already had the oil and filter so to just use the one we had in the car and he said okay. I even told the mechanic about it as well and he acknowledged me. Well, Their listening skills must suck because they didn't and they charged me for their parts of course because they didn't use mine after I told them 2x. Overall I would not recommend this dealership due to lack of communication from management and making excuses for selling me a faulty vehicle. August 14th I bought a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. We had a wonderful experience with JR our salesman who I would recommend 10/10. As soon as we got home I asked my husband what the alert on the dash was. I looked it up and it had to do with the stop/start system needing to be serviced. August 15 I texted our salesman and let him know about the alert. He talked to the used car manager and he said it happens do to extreme heat or cold. I had no other information to go off of so we waited it out. Also, the windshield wiper fluid tank was cracked and wouldn't hold fluid. Something I assumed would be checked before it was listed for sale. August 31st we were driving with our baby in the car and the van died at a busy intersection. All electronics were on but the vehicle would not start. After 10 minutes of panic we got it on and quickly made our way home. I called the dealership right away and told them what happened. They said since it is a Chrysler we had to take it to a Chrysler dealership to get it fixed. Due to everything being backed up they said it would be mid October before they could even get it in for diagnostic. I called back to the Chevy dealership and told them what happened which was resulted in them telling me they would try to get an appointment but everything is busy. They found an appointment for end of September in Olympia. This is my primary vehicle which I will not drive to Olympia when it doesn't work with a baby in the back. The van had died 3 more times since reporting. The service manager also said my warranty would not kick in for 30 days or 1,000 miles. My husband called a different location for Chrysler and was told there is an open recall for this vehicle due to an electrical issue. This was NOT disclosed to us during purchasing. September 26th I emailed the sales manager, Marc M. explaining the whole situation and that I was still without a vehicle or answer over a month after purchasing the vehicle. I called him and he had not heard about it so I filled him in on the timeline. He said he would take a look and get back to me. I called the following day and he said there were there options. Get it fixed, get a loaner until it is fixed, or trade out that vehicle for something else in their inventory. I had to carry over from my previous loan and I put down a bit of money to purchase this van which he assured me would be carried to the new vehicle. My husband and I researched and found two options that were in the same price range as the van. I emailed those to Marc but did not receive a call back. I checked in with our sales person the following days and kept getting that he was working on it. I emailed Marc September 28 and got no response. October 3rd I checked with our salesman again for an update and he asked me to send the new vehicle information to him again so they can look at numbers. Our salesperson called me, not Marc, to tell me that they would try to get me into a loaner (1 1/2 months after not having a vehicle) until it is fixed. I asked about the trade in. They said I would need MORE money to put down because of the fluctuation of prices and such since we purchased. I asked the manager to call me and he will not. Obviously I can't go to a different dealership because the van does not work and can't be traded in. I am beyond frustrated that I still do not have a working vehicle, was given an option for a new vehicle which was later taken away, and I will not continue doing business when they will not help me with solution. I will continue to work with Chrysler for a solution but will not be including this dealership with further business. read more

Do not go to Northwest Chevrolet for service. Period. Ever. It was time for new diesel truck. I wanted to order from Northwest, they told me to go to a bigger dealer due to allocations. Fine. I ordered and purchased it from an Idaho dealer and the service was fantastic. Once home, I heard a noise that I wanted to just check and see if it was normal, so my husband, a retired police officer, swung by Northwest. When the service manager came out, she said "if you bought it in Idaho, you should have it serviced in Idaho", and also said they could tear it apart and we wouldn't get it back for "months". Fabulous customer service! Disrespectful and completely uncalled for. He then drove an hour to go to Titus Will Chevrolet in Olympia. They were helpful, respectful, and told us what I was hearing was normal. Northwest Chevrolet lost a customer for life. My experience was far from the positive reviews previously posted. I've been to their dealership before and talked with Preston (nice, friendly guy and none of this is directed towards him) but couldn't make a deal...current incentives/discounts weren't high enough to make me want to trade in my current truck. I looked at their website last night and came across a great deal on a Silverado. I drove down to McKenna as soon as I could. I showed Preston the deal they had on this white Z71 Silverado online and he and I both agreed it was phenomenal. As long as the test drive went well and my trade appraisal was good, I was happy to make a purchase that day. After the test drive and appraisal, it took Preston about 20 minutes to come back with the manager's response. I thought it was odd for the numbers to take that long. Marc Maroni, the GM, ended up telling me that the sale price was incorrect and his manager told me it was a mistake General Motors made. I asked if they would still honor it and they wouldn't. I wasted 3 hours of my day driving round trip and dealing with a guy that wasn't willing to make a deal. The truck was marked down roughly 28% below MSRP and they said they couldn't do that. It's not that they couldn't, it's that they WOULDN'T. The manager had nothing else to say when I showed him the same model truck (same color and trim) at another dealership for roughly 28% below MSRP. I don't appreciate driving an hour away for the bait and switch experience whether the dealer or GM is at fault like the manager stated. read more

We set up an appointment with her to come in and look at it and take it for a test drive. We arrived and Liz was waiting and welcomed us and had the car ready for our test drive. Liz is such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable too. Great sales lady! We got back from the test drive and of course fell in love with the car and decided to buy it. Back in 12/18 I brought my car in for a service check due to a check engine light on. I was told y Andrew, I should purchase an extended warranty for my 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Lt . I related to Ryan I already had an extended warranty added to the factory warranty when the cruze was purchased. Ryan insisted I purchase another warranty. I feel this dealership's staff forces customer to purchase more than they actually need---as my present warranty will run out at 100,000 miles/when 40,000 in milage was put on in 2yrs. I was told by Justin in the Finance Department that my money would not be returned to me because I had coverage for 3 months. I had never used or even paid on the warrenty I was told I needed to purchase. What kind of redundant BS, swindling crap your staff sucks out of customers- A complaint was made to The Chevrolet Corporation and a letter will be sent out tomorrow morning. I will never return to this dealership. I will make sure all future individuals interested in purchasing a Chevrolet DO NOT GO TO Northwest Chevrolet they are VAMPIRES! read more

This dealership now has gotten our business 3 times. We found They usually take care of there customers and especially RETURN customers; or so we THOUGHT. I wasn't happy one bit with the R*** of a trade in they gave us for our Two trucks; BOTH of which we purchased from THEM; one to which we JUST purchased Two months ago. our sales person for purchase #2 and 3 ( Leanna) was wonderfully during the process but then wasn't even around for the actual pickup. Then when we had a few more after questions she simply passed the buck and dropped us on our heads! In fact during day of pickup we got tossed to the no communication_ salesman that had no customer service the FIRST time we were there (cole). This time, we were even told they were taking our truck over to"put fuel in it before we drove it away.. yea right!! they MAYBE put about 5 gallons in it. So it was sitting about 1/3 a tank. Seriously,!!?? With the HUGE amount they overcharge per vehicle the very LEAST this business can do is give me a full tank of fuel!! Purchase #2_ time we even got phone calls days later to ask if we were happy with our purchase and was everything going o.k. NOT this time, We couldn't even get a strait answer as to the exact service our vehicle received before we picked it up. When we did finally pick up our truck we went to parts and told them we would like to order a puck ready 5th wheel hitch. There price was far better then others around for a CURT. They told us they try to get it from there "local" distributor" if can't, they'd order it and it'd be here in about 5 business days. Ok. Order it. days later we call. They didn't even order the part tell the NEXT Tuesday delivery was 7_10 business days now. About two days later we call again. To find out they didn't even have a tracking; then they did but the hitch went from TEXAS going EAST. ( we in washington state) Nobody knew WTF was going on and they didn't expect it in now tell into June. And we purchased truck with enough time to get a hitch and use for Memorial weekend. Couldnt wait; we got it from the RV dealer where I had it in my hands within 48 hours. And to top it off, we found out NW Chevy DONT EVEN HAVE a "local distributor" Another problem, in washington state( in most states). Bigger vehicles MUST be sold with mudflaps. It is a LAW. The dealership refused to replace/ install mudflaps on our dually truck that prior owner must've taken; saying they were already puting 6 new tires on it; to which they went mostly cheap with "Ironman" tires; subsidiary of Hurcululies tires. The last time our vehicle we got from them had some issues, they put allot of $$$ Into it so it was good for us. _maybe it was a mistake that they didn't check it out BEFORE we decided to buy it; regardless they did allot of work and we were VERY appreciative of that_ THAT is why we decided to actually go back again for the 3rd vehicle; BUT THIS time we felt they just went all cheap on us; not at all like our prior experience 2 month prior. Same people, same business, same place just totally different dealings. Even this time the manager didn't even come greet us or shake our hand. We really just got the feeling we were "those customers" especially when we physically SAW him and Cole talking; he said something to Cole then walked away. About two weeks later a family member had issues and needed a vehicle, they were hard up and we tried referring to NW Chevy. But they had no phone so contact was thru our phones. The dealership just played a few games and acted like they couldn't resell the great vehicles I had JUST turned over to them; I knew it was a game so we steered them elsewhere and N.WC lost business. Mid June we called to finally out whe. We can expect our licemce plates in. To find out they have had them since the 2nd of June. Not a single call to inform the customers. So far we love the truck; it's wonderful; allot more reliable and dependable then I can say about this dealership I seriously doubt I will give this place my business ever again! read more

Do not buy from here!!! My father just bought a brand new Camero and left his other vehicle overnight here, when the salesman (not adding name as it will be obvious who he was) said it would be fine. Someone broke a window out of his other car (including a couple other cars on the lot). When my father called to see if there was something they could do for a replacement window, they didn't even entertain the idea of helping him out. All in all, this dealership shows they are only in it for the sale not the customers value. We will not be recommending this place ever to anyone again. read more

NW Chevrolet might be a good place to buy a car but it's definitely not where you want to go for service. We brought our daughters 2006 cobalt in for service. The first problem was that we were charged $118 to have Chevy look at the car. That's ridiculous. Next, they wanted to charge us almost $500 to replace the front brakes. They also wanted to charge us $500 to replace the shifter column. We took the car to another local mechanic that we trust and he charged us $500 to do the brakes and the shifter column. We will never take our car back to Chevy and, at this point, we will probably not shop their for a car again. read more

I came back here after the Check Engine Light (CEL) came on for my truck. Marc in sales agreed to take care of it, and I their technicians pulled the codes from the computer. They were consistent with a failed EGR cooler bypass valve which GM issued a warranty on until 120100 or 2021. After some scheduling conflicts, we got the truck wth them the day after Christmas. It took quite awhile to get the truck back from them (2+ weeks), but it came back fixed. Andrew in service is the best employee at the dealership. He is friendly, courteous, and respectful to customers. Don, who I worked with previously, is rude, I really did not have any good interactions with him following the purchase of my vehicle, and I would be happy not to deal with him again. He was particularly rude when inquiring about the loaner vehicle key, after I had given it to service when picking up my truck. It is not appropriate rudely to ask a customer "Uh, what about our rental key?" I am a paying customer, not your friend from the block or some kid. read more

My wife and father in law were treated absolutely terrible yesterday! They went to look at a used car. The sales person was so rude and unprofessional! Spend a few bucks more and drive to Tacoma for a vehicle! They obviously don't need the business the way they treat people here. I'm surprised this place is still in business!
