I tried…read moreto purchase some rubber sealant earlier this summer and AutoZone priced a product that sold for less than $4.00 elsewhere at over $30.00. Now, I purchased what was supposed to be ceramic brakes on-line, only to find out they were poorer quality organic brake pads. Neither incident prompted their leadership or "customer service" personnel to do anything other than say they passed on my comments to their research department. AutoZone expected me to remove the organic brake pads from my car and to return them to the store or corporate headquarters before they able to do anything. I only installed these brake pads from AutoZone because it was choice between a disabled and functional car. Instead of doing anything about a problem they created, they insisted on following some ridiculous bureaucratic process in order to be compensated for their bait and switch tactics. My advice would be to look elsewhere for auto parts.

After having it for a week or so they gave me the bill and said the head was good. No repairs necessary. I reinstalled it and it drove with an occasional misfire for approximately 200 miles. Maybe less. Day after our wedding the engine died. I finally took the car apart and found the valve head had broken off the stem wrecking the head and the piston. This type of thing doesn't just happen. Usually from a bent valve. I'm upset about this for a number of reasons, but right now I'm irate at the way Miller treated me when I came in to ask them about it. They do bad work and bad business. Stay away.

I've had an excellent experience at this auto parts store every time I've purchased parts from…read morethem. One counter person at this store was particularly helpful. Jason should be recognized for standing out. I own two vehicles that weren't sold new in the United States and basically are not supported by any auto parts stores (or even Rock Auto!). The parts nearly always have be to ordered from the UK and take weeks to receive. On two separate occasions, Jason was able to cross reference the parts and find them in the O'Reilly system. I got the parts in one day or less, not weeks. From experience, I can say, no other auto parts person would have either been able to do this or would have taken the time. Auto parts stores once went the extra mile, but not so much anymore. I've been driving for over 50 years and own 10 cars, so I've seen it all. It's a great store and it's convenient to my home.
